Morning ladies, though it is afternoon over my side.

THank you for all the well wishes, Kai's fever finally subsized and he is getting better from his bad flu. Ray still has some loose stools other than that he is perfectly fine - active, chatty and smiley.

RE: HB

Think as long as mil is not around, my hb is very proactive, the past few days, he has been washing the laundry, washing dishes, cleaning up Ray when he pooed, play with both boys.

He even took over taking care of Kai at night by sponging and monitoring his temperature so that I can rest and handle both boys in the day.
 


Just to share about P's diet and B.R.A.T

During constipation, we use P's diet on baby to aid them to poo. P's diet which include the followings in a balanced meal such as Prunes, Prune juice, Pears, Plumbs, Peaches, Pineapple (better than prunes!), and Peas which works for most cases.

During diarrhoea, we can use the B.R.A.T diet, usually we include Banana, Rice, Rice Water, Apple, Applesace, Toast.

Hahaa ... talk abt us falling sick .. That day i was feeling abit uncomfy and i can feel a sorethroat & flu coming up. I told hubby, "u better pray that i& dun fall sick else nobody to take care of bb but u."

And u know what? Hubby brought a glass of water and some medication immediately to me - in nano second speed. He really scared i fall sick!

Ya lor!!! NOrmally he'll only bring me medication after i complained. But dat day I din even say i need medication yet, and he immediately without hesitation bring the pills to me.

Same!! If bb poo and hubby change diaper, he also used up more than 10pcs de.

my hb can consider ok...he will help settle #1...
do some household chores...and sometime settle #2...
but like most dads...he don't like to clean poo and bath #2(he always feel that bb must be able to sit in tub b4 he take charge of bathing bb)...

i rem mine telling me that day that e is the worker bee and i am the queen bee... haha.. i feel i am more like the feeding machine loh.. =p a lot of husband seems to change and be more responsible after baby is born leh. dun u all think so? cos he knows how difficult it is for us.,,,

haha.. same... my hubby use so many wipes too!and everytime he smears the desitin so THICK on his butt cheeks! =]

ya.. sometimes when i am doing something. my hubby will scream cos my boy gave him a hot welcome pee!! wahahha!!!!
 
piggy, haahaa...so does your boy pee on him?

kitty, just take a thing at a time. For me, the age gap between #1 and #2 is about 6 years so #1 dotes on #2 and helps alot. I have no maid, so #1 & dh are roped in to help with household chores.
 
Any of your MIL are like that?

my MIL keep wanted to cook porridge for my boy when he start solids using pork bones etc.. but i told her no need yet.. just use cereal and still drink bm. she keep harping on how she raise her 3 sons.. all eat porridge and they like eating it. why is she sooo sooo stubborn? times have changed already mah... how many months can baby eat porridge? cannot put meat before 10 months right? i need to repeat to her everyday!!
 
Kitty, thankful I dun stay with mil. From 6 months, can use ribs to make broth for porridge already. BB also need more iron from 6 months onwards.

my MIL like that too.. keep wanting to let bb eat poridge.. always say last time.. at first i told her i will let bb take solid after 6mths, but she kep nagging abt then let bb eat rice cereal first.. say 4months le, big boy le, milk not enough.. then i see my boy like rejecting milk so i try the rice cereal, he reject too.. so i can let my MIL know bb dun wan not i dun wan give.. haha.. then yesterday, told me give bb eat fish.. faint.. i told her not now.. then her face like not very happy.. i bo chap..
 
Ok ladies, I am going for my nap before coaching my boy in maths then preopare dinner.

baby ja, think fish is much later than meat.

my hb nv bathe Jvier before.. he is scare!!! haha!! but he will help out in other things eg, changing diaper even if he poo, feed even nite feed..

hahah at first my Hb v excited to bath my boi but after 1 try he told me flyin a plane is easier lol~ but i guide him a few more time he can bath him w/o my help now keke..

i dun stay wif MIL but see her everyday. she seems to be more proud of taking care of baby already.. always claim credit say she can take care better than dunno which relatives..... so sian.. now must "listen" to all this crap..

ya lor.. dunoo y they like that.. mine say wanna give eggs.. i say cannot!!.. i read b4 fish cannot give so early too.. my fren's baby started on eggs too early end up wif rashes all over her mouth.. so poor thing.

If ur MIL taking care ur baby i thk u wun knw wat she fed him lor..i also dunno is my MIL fed my baby any solid food...jz tat day FIL said my bb wan to eat..when MIL feed SIL's baby (1yr old) she keep starring so MIL also feed her some porridge water (she claimed)then i said solid food nit to wait till 6mths old then start right? MIL said 4mths can alr..then i jz keep my mouth shut cos no point to argue..
 
When i change my gal she also pee..though wun shoot out but will wet her clothes & changing mat..hv to clean more lor.

My hubby also nv bath my gal nowadays..he used to bath her when i had my confinement.
 
piggytoh, I think my girl sees me all the time so she only wants me. Daddy can carry her when I am around but once she cannot sees me, she will cry. I brought my boy out to the nearby mall to buy something once and when I am back 15mins later, my girl cry till puked and my hb's face super black!

Kitty, you need to have good family support. They can be your hb or mum or ILs to help out. I don't have the above and the childcare around my area all full so I suffer for 3mths. Then I finally decide I have to get a maid. But now that the cc got vacancy, I have sent my elder one to cc and going to transfer my maid soon.

my mil also always mention last time this, last time that. I usually just listen lor.
i started my boy on solids at 5mth+ as I felt that he is ready. he dont like to drink from bottle.

I'm just so glad that my sil is preggie, now my mil attention is on her.

kikilala, haahaa...good to hear that your sil is pregnant so your mil doesnot need to camp at your place.

I am also glad to be away in Oz so let dh deal with his parents and bro on his own.

icic tt time i also worried cos my HB not in sg n my son spent most his time with me but surprisingly when my HB back my son actually smile at him even my IL not as close to my bb compare to my HB..

I read somewhere that for tbf, then sometimes bb will have reaction if mum takes some type of food like dairy products or seafood. You might want to try cut down those suspicious food first and see if the rashes will improve.

i always make my hubby clean poo in the day if he is awake. sometimes he will dont want then i will say him. once we move in to our place, either sat or sun he will be full day take care of Zachary! while i go out or something.

Zachary pee more on my hubby. the first time he changed diaper for him, already got pee on face + poo le. haha. whereas Zachary dont dare to pee on me, instead pee on himself.

sat nite wanted to go out wif frends (1st time out)...in the end i din get to go out cos turned back halfway
cos mum say ryan wont stop crying! he was screaming n crying since i stepped out till i came back...tink ard 10-15mins
see le also heartpain...dunno when i get the chance to go out without him
 
Sharon, our babies are so amazing lor. Mine also will start to cry the moment I step out even when she dunno I am going out!
 
Piggytoh, I think because my girl only sees the daddy for 30mins a day only so she is not close to him. She will smile at him and play with him too but once I am not around, she will cry.

hahah my baby dun get to see his daddy for months.. maybe not he reject ur HB but she too close to u:p tt the only prob when bb too sticky to us.. but if they stick to others we will feel jealous keke..

Hi mummies who work/ live in the east
Anyone knows of any malls in the east that is near MRT that has a nursing room where I can express my milk? Reason I'm asking is because I have a company event at expo for the whole day. While I can sneak off to express, I doubt there is anywhere in expo that I can do that. So planning to hop on the train and go to the nearest mall. If anyone do know, let me know! Thanks in advanced

i agree with some of what the other stompers said, it could be that person mishandled it. In fact, the bb's diarrhoea could be caused by other factors. Not necc due to this. If there's only 1 person complain that this si shen brand caused diarrhoea, think the company prob will ignore it. It's only if many get diarrhoea then got prob.

Ya lor.. sometimes we dun feel like arguing with them.. but its our kids. Why cant they see that they should follow our instructions strictly.
Anyway . At first I wanted to install camera so I can monitor her.. hiaz.. but too young… think maybe when my baby start crawling and walking I hv a reason to do that =] keke.
