had a pretty good night - only 2 hours of contractions last night!
Came across something interesting - www.75volts.com - you can personalised the music CDs n hear yr baby's name in the songs. Am ordering for my little boy - Zachary.

think the hospital haven't placed restrictions on children. I asked TMC that day, still ok to have children there. Perhaps also coz it's not the hospital of treatment for H1N1 cases there...

then stay clear. I think for the rest of the population, they really don't care anymore coz it doesn't seem serious. It only affects those at high risk more and only this group of pp are taking precautions.

Ladies, you all don't treat your colleagues who needs to travel like some freak leh.
My hb also needs to travel due to work commitment and you think he really likes to travel and expose his preggie wife and toddler son to higher risk meh? He is already doing what he can by santizing his hands frequently during his trip and when he is back he will monitor his temp and if sick he will go see doc.
So you all must try to be understanding too that all these people who needs to travel for work also boh bian!

yeah, it's horrible knowing that u're in contractions and pain yet cannot push at all - then everyone ard is screaming in pain to push out their babies - really very surrreal after some time.
will most likely be going for c sec this time (although i so wanted natural birth) ..seems that our little boy doesn't react very well to contractions - whenever there's a contraction, his heart beat decel...damn scary..i kept asking the nurses and docs why, and they kept entertaining me with 'loss of contact' of the sensors attached to the CTG...really so duhz.

i remember the last time, you gave a website link for the centre u went for scanning - can you post the link again? I'm thinking of going for a colour blood doppler scan to make sure the umblicical cord is not compressed or anything.

i think i shall go pack a clothes peg into my bag tonight... so when i learning how to BF with a t shirt on, can use it to clip the shirt up. hahah...

When i stayed in the hospital then, i was surrounded by mummies who had just given birth & holding their bb in their arms. Really sianzzz... Got a christmas hamper for bbs even though i haven't even given birth and made to take a photo with the fake female santa claus at the delivery ward. It really makes me wanna swear at 'him' after a night of suffering from contractions, looking totally hideous and tired and still made me pose for a photo. I still have that photo to remind me...

his grade will never have duty travel one loh...
"he kenna demoted" cos he now doing duty dun required him to travel at all...
in the past(few yrs back) maybe i agree that he may be travelling for duty...
but not now lor...

erm i tink u would feel v uncomfortable to have big action leh.. i dun tink ur wound allow u to anywya only 2 visitor allow at specific timing so i dun tink will be tt bad la.. the PJ i bott is v long n i dun tink it will flip above my butt also keke i tink tt the only advantage of bein short lol~

u need to bf in the hospital, if not your milk won't come! Even though the milk isn't here yet, u will have colostrum. That's golden liquid, so must feed bb with that. And by suckling, it will help your milk come faster.

pris, think supplement once at nite would not affect milk flow. I did that and when I got home, was fully on bf. It helped me get more rest in hospital if I didn't have to be woken every 3 hours. So at least got a 6 hr stretch of rest for 2 nites.
bbmaking, really glad to hear that you are doing ok.
lawshe, I think that you should get a gynae's letter/MC to support your case of going off early to rest, esp when gynae seems concerned with bb's growth rate. Stress could cause you to eat less, hence affecting bb's growth?

i like yr method of convincing yrself - yellow w pink mittens n booties. In the end hor, i bought almost everything in blue and white combi - figured that cannot go wrong in matching.
dun know leh, i am a bit sticky abt matching sets...be it clothes, bed sheets,furnishing etc.

probably... Coz it went away after a long while. But pain like siao last night. Think too tired yesterday. My ILs made us stay till quite late at their place to take the bird's nest. My boy couldn't wake up for his breakfast today before he goes cc.
