(2009/06) June 2009 MTBs


Tubby, mum taught me to look for signs that they want to poop. Some will make noises, some will have faces turn red, some will not move when they want to poop. So when you see your baby want to poop, take off the pamper (but don't remove it or else where does the poop goes, hee), grab the feet up and use the word/sound u intending to teach while baby poops.

My mummy used to do it every morning for my boy before he really started to poop, letting him know the sound and understand it as he used to poop in the morning. Hee..
 
Ahh... ok, so when baby gets used to hearing this sound, they affiliate it to this action, and in future when they hear that sound, they will do that action...

Hehe, next time try...

1. ROMPERS - total around 12 (3xNB; 5 x 3-6m 4x 6m & above)
2. LONG PANTS - 5 (all different sizes up till 9 mth)
3. SLEEP SUITS - 0-3m: 1
4. LONG SLEEVED TOPS - 0
5. SHORT SLEEVED TOPS - 6 + sm pass dwn
6. SHORTS - 4
7. SOCKS - 6 pairs 0-9mth; bootees many pairs pass dwn only 1 new
8. MITTENS - many pairs pass dwn pairs only 1 new
 
think i better not count mine... think i have quite a fair bit for 6 months and above rompers.... hehehe... now i'm looking for those tops and pants. i find bb boys wearing a polo tee and a pants very nice!!! ahahahah

sweethalo, i realise u didnt take the 5 pc rompers at Ade's?
 
ooo... ya cos i was worried that I may hv too many rompers oredi.. so tht i wld leave tt till later if I really needed it.

I bought one set from another BP and realised after opening it that it's so so small ...macham for premie lidat

bb clothes all look so small. i was looking at the NB rompers and thinking..... alamak, so small......

sweethalo, so funny, on that maxi cosi thread that u posted, someone called Raymummy posted to ask the seller how come the seller is using Raymummy's picture from Ebay! Haha... Yes, I saw the item on sale in Ebay last week too. I didn't realise it's not from the same seller.

ya, its oily, that's why must do it prior to shower so that you can wash off the excess oil.. the remaining oil (after shower) will leave your skin feel moisturise..

ya, ladies, the cotton wool will turn brownish.. must be patience, you won't see result immediately.. it will take a few weeks.. its a cheap solution compared to signing up for some IPL treatment post delivery which some of my frens did..

but Newbaby no offers... comes in 2 sz - smaller pack is $15 or $16 then the bigger pack of I think 58 is abt $26
 
Will u be delivering at Mt A? heard they use Pampers there so, can use that pack first

I think Pampers should be undisputedly good else they can't survive so long with high prices ba.
 
Ya, that's what I thought too. Thinking of getting a pack of S size to try. Oh, the Goo.n S size that I gave to my friend, and the penguin wipes, I still haven't restock from Gmarket yet. Keep forgetting.
 
mummies, i have a bit too many baby girl clothes cos i bought 2nd hand from other mummies so im packing some to give away for token of $20 NTUC voucher. got abt 20pcs, mostly rompers plus button front tops. PM me if you are interested.

Ok! I can't remember who asked but I did my count and here's the tally. I do NOT have enough NB &amp; 0-3M stuff.

1. Rompers - Total: 8 (1 xNB, 4 x0-3M, 1 x3-6M, 2 x6-12M)
2. Long pants - 0
3. Sleep suits - 1 x6-9M
4. Long sleeved tops - Total: 5 (4 x3-6M, 1 x6-12M)
5. Short-sleeved tops - Total: 8 (2 x0-3M, 4 x3-6M, 2 x6-12M)
6. Shorts - 0
7. Socks - 6 pairs (3 are free)
8. Mittens - 8 pairs (all thin worn-out white ones from colleague. Must buy nice nice ones!)
9. Beanie ("hat") - 1
PLUS
10. Booties - 3 pairs

I NEED TO GET BACK INTO BB SHOPPING MOOD...
sweethalo, should consider getting sleep suits and stuff, perhaps from Ade... or friends say from T'Payoh or AMK..</font>
 
Hmmm... I also thought the yellow Pampers Newbaby was NB size, but that was just my assumption, I never actually went to read the packaging haha.

I'm not familiar with the Pampers range. For the bigger sizes, the range is called Pampers Active Baby is it? Are there other ranges?
 
Yes, I think u shld make a trip to Ade's place... she has a quite a few sleepsuits for boys that she didn't upload on the BP threads. She also has something like a sleeping bag... that both TubbyM and I bought in pink and blue respectively.

I bought a very nice Carter's sleepsuit fr her with little Dinosaurs all over... very cute..

Prices of course very reasonable and from Gap and Carters!
 
TubbyM- I only just discovered that there are 2 ranges for the bigger sizes. One is the orange packing which is Comfort- it's a cheaper range. the other is the dark green and blue depending on sz, those are called Active baby
 
Aha... so if want to use Pampers, better to buy the Active Baby range I guess?

Ya, Cassey, since u still need more stuff like sleep suits, can consider going to Ade's. I know there's a shop in AMK that's been around for yonks, and they supposedly sell baby stuff very cheaply, but I haven't checked it out yet. My mum knows of that place as well, but she too hasn't been in ages, so she doesn't know if the prices have gone up since way back when... She said she'll check it out one of these days, will let u know if she does.

Yeah I think the Comfort range, M sz can be as cheap as $10 nia.. recently was on offer for that price.
