Ur boi boi's poo poo process is unusual but amusing! Mine will "force" her poo poo out until her face turn red. And she refuses to drink or eat when she poos. So if u're in the middle of a feed, it's "Oh oh...". Cos she will stop and not want to drink aft we clean her up!
My ger can sit unassisted with big cushions put at her side. Usually she falls to the side when she uses one hand to touch her toes/legs. But yesterday, she din tip over, maybe cos of the pillows...

My hubby just asked me if we have another gathering! hahaha... I think he is hook on the baby gathering liao!
If no takers, shall I organise the next one at my place again? Only if majority are ok with the distance lah 'cos I feel bad that mummies & babies got to travel all the way to my place. If ok, I'll try to organise one in June09?
Let me know ok so that I can "chop" the function room. As you know lah, the room will surely be taken up during the June Holdiay period.

sigh.. these few nights baby Louis wake up almost every hour.
i'm so exhausted!!! 2 times were for milk, others just wake up and cry. charm lor... some ppl ask me is it becos he sleep too much during the day, but, he only sleep 3 hours during day time for his nap. i really dunno what happened. any mummies encounter the same problem?
FYI. baby Louis is so playful,sometime he no need to sleep for 4 -5 hours during the day and just asking ppl to play with him. i'm totally no energy for him.

1. Diet - u change diet recently? There are some offending foods that will cause baby to get sleepless night. One gd example is: Caffine (i.e in Coke, Tea, Coffee).

Yep!! My son Jordan became very talkative when he turned 3+months and he still is!! He will keep talking to himself with lots of funny noises and we just love it when he talks (compared to him when he cries of cos).
Then of cos, ur bb will want ur attention more...my son wans me to be there for him every single second...not just by being beside him, but to talk n play with him all the time..he is only quiet when he sleeps sia. Jordan screams a lot nowadays too!! Wat to do i guess its too early to reason with him...

aiyoh...so many posts!! I m so dead tired after the trip back from Genting. Lucky Zach can withstand such long journey in the car and din fuss much. Onie drink milk and sleep..hahaha. We will be driving up to KL more often liao now that the flu thingy is quite scary, taking a flight is a no no for now.
Sam, we stayed at Awana Genting and the room is big. Zach insist on sleeping on his own (there's 2 super single bed) so me n hb hv to sleep on our own without him. Hahaha..how i know he wanna sleep alone? He wakes up crying, so i left him alone and went to my hb's bed..then Zach slept soundly.. imagine him being 5mth old trying to act adult..haha

Haha!!!!Emma also likes to poop while in her bumbo, and on saturday, the poop leaked out too...and it was a mess!!!...there was basically poop everywhere....faintz....

Emma got eye infection ....dunno how she got it....damn sianz, it's like every other week, must go to see dr...whether its flu, vaccination, eye infection or what not.....have baby very expensive lor...

zach is so sticky nowadays to me. The moment he sees me when others are carrying him, he will cry n put out his hands wantin me to carry him. Even when his daddy carry him in his Bjorn, he oso dun want, onie want me to carry him.. jia lat! And his cry hor, really sound like being abondoned type.. even after patting him, he will still eh eh eh..n tink abt it, cry again.

Is this just a phase? I realise that this happened to my ger recently too! :'( And so sad, she see my parents then she cry... My mother carry her for awhile oni she cry! And cry until v diff to console her. *sobs*

jowin.. ya in laws must be quite sad leh.. mine yday im carrying then i was too tired. i pass it to my hub. then my MIL say nvm i carry. then carry awhile she cry. -___- then i say bao bao.. she open her arms and want me to carry. then she keep quiet. faints. seriously now carrying her is quite heavy! i bTh sia.

I didn't with my 3 other girls ... they went straight to the loo .. I just bought those cushioned kiddy seats to make the toilet seat smaller.

actually zach is okay with ppl carrying him juz tat he will cry if MIL carry him. Not sure if the way she carry not comfy or wat..sure cry after less than a minute. If my BIL or parents or sisters carry him, he's ok one leh..maybe he still remember last time they carry him until he got blue black mark..haha

Mine also cry every time we brought her to my mil place. Once she cry until like unconsolable. Keep sob sob like cannot stop like that. Until we brought her to my sil's room, on aircon, switch on tv, i carry her and dance dance, then she'll calm down. Can tell that my mil wasn't that happy then. Haiz.. But there's only once she had slept long enuf in the afternoon, she didn't cry when we brought her to my mil's place.

Today we boil barley water for her, hope it helps to soften her poo. Last week, she also never poo for a few days, then once she pooed, her stool very hard and she's like crying in pain like that.

Today brought Summer for her 2nd vacinnations after she hit 4 months. she took 2 jabs, 2nd dose of 6-in-1 & pnuemococcal & rotavirus. aiyo.. 1st jab still neber cry jus complain & sob abit.. after 2nd jab cry n cry until machiam ppl ill treat her like tat!
the clinc assist & doc all wear protective gears & masks.. so scary! and gotta take both mummy & baby's tempt before going in to see doc. v ma fan! all becos of the stoopid swine flu!!

emeraldbride, use the English barley. My mum is boiling barley water for Gerard every 2-3 days and he is taking the water for the whole day, even in his milk.
Solid: Tried to feed him solid on last sat and he just reject by refusing to open his mouth..but when he saw milk bottle..he automatically open his mouth..

Btw, do u think we can give our bbs fruit juice? My mum was telling me to give my gal a few teaspoons of freshly juiced apple juice to ease her bowels. Hubby & me not so keen to give leh. Wonder if it will be too much for our bb's stomach to handle. We hv not start giving solids to my gal yet. Dun think she's ready too cos my mum tried to feed her some papaya puree, she pushed it out with her tongue.
Yesterday nite, my aunt gave my gal a slice of apple to suckle on it. & my gal really suckle the apple very loudly. -_-" And i totally forgot to clean her gums after we went back home.

Jowin - Cos my hubby cannot tahan always hv to go my mum's place to see bb. He's not staying at my mum's place cos fr pasir ris to jurong island is really very far. He kept asking me to move back lor. That's y now we r back at my place. Only stay over nite at my mum's place on weekends.

2. did u on the air-con? if u on the air-con, till what time u will switch off?
3. if u on the air-con, what is the temperature? and what ur baby dressing? and did u put on the blanket?
4. after the mid-night feed, did u burp ur baby?
5. how frequent u change the baby diaper?
i really no idea why baby Louis keep waking up,
i hope i can find out the reason. anyone can help?

quite fast leh .. I submitted it online on Sun ... I think Thursday or Friday I collected it. Book an appt time to pick it up too. it's faster than just waiting there.

2. yes, a/c all the way till I wake up
3. 25 degrees, she wears those footed sleepsuits from Mothercare. very comfy and keeps her warm
4. nope.
5. to be honest, I change her before i sleep then it lasts all the way till morning ... Mamy Poko is very absorbent AND it doesn't give her rashes at all. But I also do apply Desitin Creamy.

5. After last feed till after next morning feed at around 5.30am (I perfer to feed him b4 sending him to infantcare). I'm using Nepia and it keeps him very dry even though his diaper will be super heavy by morning. No need to apply desitin cream so far

ya .. I don't like changing her when she's fast asleep so the same diaper is literally on from about 9 till 9am the next morning. lol. Once I realized that the diaper could tahan and she din have any rashes .. I was too lazy to change her in the middle of the nite. SOMETIMES if I'm awake at 4am, and I feel it's really heavy by then, I'll change her. but usually not.
