My ger drinks ave 600 to 720ml a day recently. Some days she can go as low as 510ml only. My PD says my ger underweight (and heng she is ger not boi). My neighbour tells me as long as got X2 the birth weight is considered ok.

if me, i will choose to resign and meantime look for another job. or maybe if u have another option to change to another area, maybe u should give it a try. its really mentally stress for u to take care stressful job and kid together.

so wasted. since morning till now, baby Louis only drank 7 onz. (210ml). but, as u said, he is happy and very active, seems like ok, so i dun want to force him to finish the milk, if i force, he will frustrated and shout. :s

Don't force, he knows when he needs more. Also, you may want to try new bottle just to test if he drinks better.
Bryan was initially using Avent and all along during that time his drinking was really bad. But after his fever he suddenly refused to drink from his Avent bottle or any other bottle until we tried NUK premium. Now his drinking acutally went up.
In the early moring, 5am(i.e. after last feed at 10pm) he can easily finish 200ml of milk. However, after this feed he will only drink like 150-180ml in the next feed and sometimes as low as 90ml only. Somehow towards the evening, he will make up the difference by drinking more again just before he sleeps.
Don't force, he knows when he needs more. Also, you may want to try new bottle just to test if he drinks better.

same same lei.. after the episode tat my gal kanna bronchittis.. My sil did something similar to us agn. her eldest gal got eye infection.. so bad tat need to op kind. they keep her at my MIl place w/o telling us. Their reason being.. "not contagious one!" faints!

My baby is on TBF and she was 8kg at 4mths
I'm not sure how much she drinks daily cos all direct latch on. Should be more by now as she'll be 5mths in less than 2wk's time. My elder daughter was also abt the same weight as her last time(but she's quite skinny now). I eat a lot of fish such as codfish, salmon, and wuyu. Probably that's the reason....you may give it a try if you want.

We also had the same prob. My mil feeds the most, my hubby's feeding will be ok oso. But sometimes when I feed, dunno if it's suay or so happen she no mood to drink, she always cannot finish or finish 1/2!
Is it the way u hold him? Cos N is very particular about how she's held when drinking. If she not comfotable, she won't finish milk...

protein meaning i eat a lot of fish (at least 5x a week), usually an egg a day, chix and when I eat out, almost always beef! I'm not sure if its my diet, but Olivia's last weigh in at 4m+ was 8kg. I eat only a tiny bowl of rice. No point eating too much carbs when I'm not running.
new mom fair- went today, its smaller compared to Motherhood fair, Huggies and Pureen were the only diapers represented. Its not a big show so if you're expecting to snag a diaper deal, can forget about it, unless you like Pureen. Pureen Premium 3packs for $36 which I bought for a fren, she says its a good deal.
Don't think the organiser did a good job promoting the show at all, I knew about it when I happened to see the ad in ST ONCE last week.

My nanny also tolds me that my bb always scream to her once he saw her walking around him, My nanny say don't carry and it may created bad habit for bb want to be carry very often. As a parent, once I hear his screaming or crying do feel like carry his immediately ler.

For the lower weight, you are not alone coz my boy weight was 6.3Kg in 4.5mths and he will reaching 5 mths in anothers 8 days but I don't think can hit 7kg
Now I try to let go the worry of milk intake and weight gain for my bb, I had been forced him dirnk more or finished his milk, at the end both of us get frustrated for this feeding issue.

Just some brief intro of myself and my baby boy...I'm currently a stay home mom as i was retrenched from my previous job....now seeking for employment lor...as for my boy, his name is Jordan and he was born on 1 dec 2008.. He is officially 5 months old as of today! It has definitely not been easy taking care of him as he gets naughtier as he grows bigger....oways attention seeking and screaming.....sigh.....

I gave birth to him in KKH..very impressed by their service and knowledge..our babies are officially 5 months old today liao hor? really not easy taking care of him...only when he sleeps then i got time to surf the net, play my facebook etc etc....
Mommies, what shd i do when my naughty boy cries for attention? i used to be able to leave him crying for up to an hour but now he has mastered the art of screaming and yelling.....ppl think i ill treat my son....sigh....cant leave him playing alone for more than 30 mins...he loves watching disney cartoons, but also for not more than 30mins...when he is watching the cartoons quietly im rushing to do the chores like hell....sigh...
How can i make my son to ustd that mommy loves him but hates it when he screams? i try not to carry him immediately when he cries, rather, i wait for at least 15mins until he starts screaming....not sure if this is the correct way to do but i carry him so he will stop screaming...but i dun wanna allow him to keep throwing tantrums like dat....help!!

Oh btw..i went to both Metro sale n new moms exhibition @ Expo ytd.....very happy cos crocs shoes are gg at 60% off!! i bought 4 pairs for both hubby n i n m tempted to go buy again hehe......nothing much to see at the new mom exhibition though...it is quite a small exhibition....occupies only abt half the hall....

He's started to learn that nobody will come to get him unless he yells, which is not good for either of you. If he gets bored of 1 activity after 30mins, switch him to another activity that will continue to engage him for a while. Actually 30mins is pretty good already...
Alternate between playgym/chair/tummytime/carry/feed, it works for me

Yea...many ppl told me leaving him crying for an hour is too long, but also got ppl telling me to ignore him if he fake cries....sigh..u know la, too many contradicting opinions and sometimes really dun know which approach to adopt... so wad ur doing for baby Olivia is to alternate her to different activities? It works for her? hmm....maybe i shd try that too...Jordan hates being left alone for long...

Wed nite Hayden slipped out of his Yaolan.. eh..i put him there for part 1 of the nite.. (got parts ocz hayden doesnt slp thru yet).. then he was fussing and fussing by grunting at abt 1am.. he kept squirming in the yaolan until he slipped out of the net.. my yaolan quite near to the floor, so when he slipped out his head/neck still stuck in the netting.. heng i wakie in time to catch him.. No more yao lan for him liao!

Haha, my hubby also on shift work so actually long weekend or not doesnt make a difference to me....actually with my hubby working shift there are advantages also lar, at least we get to go shopping malls on weekdays where there is obviously less crowd...

Hello Jo i truely ustd how u feel when my Jordan screams in the public too....sometimes quite embarrassing.....when he misbehaves in the public i hv no choice but to give him pacifier....everytime i go out i bring at least 2 pacifiers with me so i can still give him when one is dirty....sigh....was kinda against giving him pacifiers but now, i will go with anything that makes his quiet for a while esp in public...
Haha, speaking of the fair, he was sleeping in his pram so i was ok....but then at the metro sale he was awake so i had to carry him with the sarong sling so he can kpoh....he is ok so long that he is in an upright position.. but many ppl looked at me as tho i siao cos i was in and out the crowd searching for my crocs shoe while carrying my baby...

same here. my baby Louis just now scream inside the car, i nearly want to ask my hubby to stop the car and let the baby sleep first. he also cannot sit inside the pram and car seat. he just like Brennon, Kay-Poh!!! like to come out and see see..
rachel, ur boy at least can entertain by the tv for while, my boy dun want TV, and the jia-lat thing is he need me to play every mins with him, not just sitting beside him. 1 hour cry.. hrmm... quite long ler. i agreed with Tammns, better not wait for 1 hour, is a bit long. from what i read, the baby now try to learn the cause and effect, so when they did something, they just want to see the result.

Stanley doesn't know when I go for these photoshoots cos he thinks it's a waste of money .. so don include him ... his loss. I love the photos Studio Loft shot. Nothin like a professional photographer to take nice photos of your kids.

yo.. now what time liao. so tired.. everyone is sleep and im pumping.. Zzz.. guess what! cus i just came back from work! had my "dinner" thanks to the taxi driver waited for me outside the kopi shop when im on my way back if not i got to cook maggiee mee! so damn tired and still i got to PUMP! wth! sometimes im thinking why am i working so hard.. Hmmm what am i doing in my company. LOL
btw. my work life have change everything. i used to be a fast worker.. now like a turtle! i myself cannot take it.. why? -___- so werid. quite disappointed in myself not doing things fast.. wonder is it bcus of my breastfeeding? im scare if i quit.. and im still slow in my work.. then its not worth to quit at all! hng!

yeah. our bb officially 5mths ydae. hehe. bb bois usually more active. i got 2 crying for attention. elder one wans to play wif my laptop n younger one wans mi to play wif him. lolx.

my ward was in ward 81...haha...u had a c-section? Will u still go back to KKH if u were to hv a #3? Actually some ppl think that KKH is cheaper than many other private hospitals but not true le.....private hospitals offer maternity package but the TPS from KKH doesnt..so my bill turns out to b much more exp than my friends who go to private hospitals like TMC....
yea..i agree that bb boys are much more active n for my jordan, he is the loudest bb i hv ever seen..cry so loud, scream so loud...sigh...my friends bb gals like so guai...cry so soft n can oways play by themselves.....if i had a #2, i hope its a bb gal so i can hv less headache hopefully (laughs)...
Hey mommies, my Jordan just rolled over himself for the very first time yesterday!! was worried abt his development but kinda relieved liao...wad shd i expect after he learns to roll over? lotsa monitoring n chasing after him? but after ytd's rolling over, he has not tried to roll over again today le..wonder if its an accident that he did that....
hello babbiee... i really salute u..still pumping at nearly 5am? for myself, used to pump at 3hourly but now i only hv time to pump twice - once in the morning n once at night..i notice that my milk supply has dropped liao but wad to do..my boy needs my attention constantly..plus all the chores.....sometimes very tired....
hi mommy louis, thank god that jordan still likes to sit in his car seat...he is more quiet in the car seat than in the pram....is the position of ur pram adjustable? when i adjust jordan's position to a sitting position he is ok...though not for long cos he will start crying once he gets bored looking ard....he will also complain if the pram doesnt move...so imagine my hubby n i hv to keep pushing the pram nonstop...

oh yea iemiko n tamms, just to check.. wad is the height n weight of ur babies? jordan weighted 6.6kgs on 23 apr n was 64cm long if i'm not wrong..gotta check his health booklet....
