Hi mummies.
Me also start planning & thinking abt venue for 1st year old celebration.Tot of finding a venue dun need to pay $$$ or at least mini $$$.
Intend to hv a minnie mouse theme.Keke.

Have anyone bought educational plan for their bb? I only got healthshield (AIA) for my gal cos we thot medical insurance will probably be more useful at the moment. While market was down, also invested some money in blue chips stocks tt yield dividends to put aside for bb's education next time. I think abit more flexi when encashing..

dun think i will have a bang for Kasia's 1st bdae. Her 1st mth is oreadi a big event liao. anyway, will have a cosy party with a few good frens and perhaps invite a few frens with kids to spice up the celebrations. always feel funny dat kiddos' bdae parties are filled with more adults than children! haha... dats my thinking lar, cos some parents have to celebrate big due to traditions at home =)

We just got letter to say that PR has been approved for my hubby and bb so that's a relief. We are flying end of May too.. Did you inform the high comm on your intended date of departure? It will hasten the process

I think it is nice to have at least a small celebration with family members.. if got other friends etc considered bonus la.. Since in Dec, we will be in Aus, none of our families will be with us so.. guess really no celebrations since its just hubby, me and bb..
Thinking of bringing her on a trip or something like a farmstay for her bday, so at least will have some nice photos for memory..

Iemik0 - Nsrcc chalets hv to book early wor, especially if u wanna book the ones near to the pool. Actually intended to celebrate my bb full mth there but was fully booked then. I heard they hv just renovated it last yr. Seems like the chalet is better equiped now.
Kath - Can we meet up this week at Raffles place to collect the Desitin cream from u? How much do i need to pay u ah?

Bad news: The liferacer swimwear supplier informed me that based on our orders, they only have 3 suits. All adult orders have no size. Thermal swimwear, apart from the 3 from our order, they only have #328. Next batch of stock arrival is indefinite. Sigh. Feel like taken for a ride. Will be cancelling this spree. Emeraldbride, With no offense I dnt think you should stretch too long, btw are you talking abt when you got to work or strectch it when u at home? if you boy has a huge appetite and did I read your previous post right that you need to increase ur milk productiondnt stretch my gal is 4 month, I am still pumping round the clock 4 hours apart and latching her every and anytime I have, very tired but, I want my bb to really have breast milk... "ma ma the wei da" this mummy not shy... kekekeke!

When she did not wana to latch and was fussy and cry but will suck her thumb, my tears just fell and I wept for a while... Did she not know mummy really tried her best to keep milk supply up by expressing even at work... ah ya

it's ok, SSW delivered today. The adults in the house like it more than the bb. BB just love to flip and rub the mat.
By the way, my boy keeps having diarrhea today le. not a lot but small amount, my mum says he is teething soon. Anyone same experience? WOnder if he has a stomach bug, then got to go see PD instead.

you should approximate zach's feeding timing when you pump, don't wait too long to pump just to get a greater output. Like what snowger said, if your breasts are getting stretched full to the brim all the time, your skin will lose its elasticity. I'm sure your breasts look fine now, but when Zach is eventually weaned, your breasts are not going to look as full as they do now, and will be saggy. We can only hope that they will not be wrinkly...

So happy, finally baby girl can start to flip early today morning but one of her hand was stucked underneath.
Just two days ago she finally muster up her strength to lift up her head high up for more than 15secs without topping down.
Initially i was pretty worried for her development and thought of bringing her to see PD again next week. But she's really on the slow side.

Me so happy for u gals whom are still pumping milk.Mine stop at 4.5mth ever since i go back to office.Cos only me & boss working thus no time to pump..gradually supply just stop completely. Do hang on gals..salute u.
Btw me have this problem with my gal. Cos from young, i had let her sleep in sarong cos she is a very light sleeper and dun sleep much like most babies would.Maybe at most 30min during day and that is with sarong.So now when i bring her out for outing..when she wanna sleep will cry so loud..no matter how i carry her..she jus cry.
Maybe when i carry and rock her then she will sleep.
So now at night..me let her sleep in sarong, once deep sleep will bring her onto baby cot.Haiz..so worry next time she too used to sarong, go out so difficult..where to get sarong for her to sleep???
Me initially against sarong.. but see her day time oso dun wanna sleep, also not good for her brain development cos ppl say bb must sleep more to hv gd brain..dunno true anot. Tat y me give her sarong..and she is those wanna 'yao yao' lor.

Hi all.
Im really giving up my job soon! its too tiring.. can u imagine last last week from mon - friday Ot 2am - 4am.. last week. out of 5 working days i OT 3 times (12am+) and this week i duno man! yday already OT till 12am+ liao, infact need to stay on longer but my mum called me and say my gal woke up liao. so i cant take it anymore i rush home.
Infact i feel like going home and cry.. cus i think i cannot take it anymore.. so stress leh. but when i see my gal. wah i totally happy liao. hehe. but so tired leh. i reach home cant sleep.. i still must PUMP! arghz. then pump till about 2.30am.. and by that time my gal still havent sleep -_- so play with her for awhile till 3am then i sleep. Im trying hard to hang on there! really cannot take it sia.. arghz..
Anyway.. those who have order from me the items. ITS HERE!!!! but sorry im too busy to unpack yet. so please give me some time. today my hub will be arranging for me at night. so i guess COD and reg tmw i will try my best to send it out. as for those normal postage i try before weekend or weekend to post. They will know our emotions mah? haiz.. but looking at them look at you like "eh mummy is back!" they will smile at you. so nice de hor! all ya worries will be gone! sadly to say my milk supply not even lower leh! =( sometimes im thinking is it my BF is making me go more crazy. i also scare hor if i stop my BF and the same stress im having. like that. i rather not stop BF. i shall see how far i can go ba. hehe
