I don't dare try the cereals again ... Now my girl is taking the Heinz Banana Multigrain cereal which I mix with Mamil Gold Step 2 for breakfast .. she seems to like it

My gal likes the cinnamon teddy puffs alot but i do break it up into smaller pieces for her. It melts quite easily so now trying not to break into so many pieces. I also try to let her feed herself but usually it ends up on the floor lor haha. But for jar food i thiink i still prefer heinz coz it is not so watery.

i nv break into small pieces la! its kayson himself break into smaller pieces with his gum...sacre me man! whn i see him alost choking! lesson learn: also not to give water immediately, must dig ou the small pieces first.
I immediately gave him water, but cos of the small pieces still in his mouth, he also cant drink the water, choke again.

The teddy puffs will melt?? mm then i'll try tt..

Hi ladies..
my wkends are completely spoilt.. cos Summer suddenly ran a fever on fri nite.. her fever came on n off.. and went on to a record of 39.3degress!! faints!!

Brought her to Dr Lim on sat.. cos 2 dose of paracetamol din bring it down.. was given "high fever paracetamol" + antibiotics(agn!!) sianz.. her fever still in "up-down" mode..

Last nite was terrible.. she was having high fever, i kept waking up every hr or so to check on her.. give her milk, take temp.. etc.. barely slept.. daddy lei?? not helping nvm.. still snore damn loud n wake both of us up.. damn sian!! super pissed!! Now i'm crossing my fingers.. hoping tat she'll recover soon.. in time for her PS on fri.. haiz...

Sometimes i feel that drs prescribe antibiotics too freely liao. coz that time when hayden went to a&e.. i demanded a blood test but dr say just give antibiotics, she told me blood test either bacterial or viral.. but whateva it is, just antibiotic hayden first. sigh.. i dun like the idea of medicating hayden esp antibiotics. xuelyn.. check your higher fever paracetamol, hayden was given nurofen aka brufen.. both are not suitable for children below 1yr. so dun give too much.. once fever down continue 4hrly with normal paracetamol.

babies sick very tiring one.. coz they xing ku so dun slp well also.. super tiring on mummies.. so u also must take care oh.. sick mummy take care sick baby is a super bad combo.. jiayou.. kick ur hubby out of the room la.. keke.. me n hayden slp in other room, so at least i dun "see" my hubby enjoying his slp so i wont be so pissed of by him being in lala land.

hope she gets well soon. =)

Baby sick.. mummies get hit the hardest.. I woke hubby up in the middle of the nite.. tell him bb fever 39degrees... dun wan to drink milk.. he say nvm.. slp!! wa biang.. make me damn mad.. sigh.. idiotic hubby!!

i chk liao doc gave her brufen, but onli tat works on her, the norm para dun bring the temp down at all.. sian!!

hahaha! So the wristlets have different sizes ? Ok, I have 2 .. not the Amanda one .. a small black leather one and a quite big red leather one. But no matter how big it is, still limited space what. lol !! I think I like to carry too much barang aldy. can't use a wristlet .. hahah!!

it's like that one. Baby sick .. mommy the one kena look after. My hubby will say .. he has to work, I don't *faint* .. but it's super tiring on us, man. I hate it when baby falls ill - aldy she must suffer so pitiful .. then I also kena hardship looking after ... *sigh* tiring, man.

That's why I am super paranoid about germs and washing hands. I feel it helps leh. My girls always just end up with the usual cold or cough .. never anything else *touch wood*

Xuelyn, hope Summer gets well soon. I do have the same sentiments abt AB but if its bacterial then really no choice have to take. My well meaning relatives will tell me tat its bad for bb to take AB and qn me y dr prescribed it. However its bacterial and I don't have the heart to see bb suffer and take time to let their immunity to put up the fight. I mean, if they have the immunity, they wldnt fall sick in the first place. Make sense?

just buy a plain cheap lantern then buy the LED light separately so u don't have to use a candle lor. the nice ones mostly have loud ahbeng music. damn horrible.

I wipe her 2x aday.. but she still a bit smelly fr all the sweat.. cfm cannot bath?? I abit buay tahan liao... but my MIL n maid insist tat cannot bath wor.. how???

I bought those traditional type of plastic lantern carried by using those cane stick de..inside instead of putting candle, they give me the LED light to be paste on it..bought from the taka mooncake fair..

My Drs tell me, if having fever, advised not to bathe... not necessary to abstain totally though.. The only fear is tt the bb shiver during the bath, and tt will cause the fever to spike even higher. That has been tested n proven by my 2 nephews... a bit feverish, go bathe, then go up to 39 n above le... hope this helps..

aiya i tell u those old folks always think tat fever = no bathing... last time my MIL also asked us dun shower bb when they hav fever... but there was one time my elder boy got super high fever until 41+ degree & when we went him to A&E & the nurse actually brought him to bathroom & shower him from head, in order to bring down the body temperature... so from there on whenever my boys hav a bit feverish i will juz grab them to take shower... and it helps lor!
