Are u a SAHM? I dun mind visiting u for fun. I manage to "flip" the book at the Toa Payoh Popular outlet. Actually I quite tempted to buy the Feed your baby right book too! Coincidentally, the 2 books are fr the same publisher! :p

I have it and its easy to read and reference, esp for first time moms, like myself. But the info can easily be gotten from websites like wholesomebabyfood also i guess. I print out relevant info free from office computer. Heh heh..

last time during my pregnancy i also involved into this shitty project, i went back home almost every night 10pm. and weekend i still need to on call.

sometime i'm thinking are there many women become SAHM? how about the commitment? hrmm... i quite puzzle. :s i confuse with my decision also, if i am SAHM, but, my house is full of ppl taking care baby louis, parent-in-law, sister-in-law, nephew. i feel more frusttrated and irritated when i saw the way they taking care baby louis, becos the method they are using is totally different from me!!! but, if i voice out many times, they will feel i offend them. :S sigh... so, stay home also "fan" work also "fan".. confuse..

I think 1 downside to being a SAHM is the potential communication problems with hubby due to the stress he faces when he has to support both wife and kid totally.

The pros is of coz being there for kid. I do wish I have that luxury oso.
 
studying for his degree lor! That's y i keep saying he got stress fr work, stress fr study and worse stress fr wife too!

if u r a SAHM, then u can tell ur PIL no need to come so often liao..hahaha. What for worry will offend them? Louis is ur child, only right for u to bring him up according to ur way. Sorry ah..teach u bad things. But not everything that is practised in the old days work in the modern era. Baby oso smarter liao lar unlike last time onie know how to eat sleep cry.

Thanks for the link of the blog. I took a quick look and it looks quite interesting. I think it will be a good complement to the book, as a kind of 'real life' perspective.

BTW, any mummies thinking of going organic for their bb's first food? I mean organic raw stuff that you cook (e.g. apple, veg that you buy from supermarket), not organic packaged stuff (like jar food or instant food). Where can we buy from? Do you know if it will be very much more expensive than regular food?
 
ya. babyfifi. the commitment and the hubby stress. and when u need to spend money, u dun have the freedom. its hard to ask money from hubby, i think. so, sometime i quite amaze when women become SAHM.

that what i told the PIL, nowadyas baby is different, they always tell me how they take care the nephew. alamak! becos of last month they keep carry baby louis, said he hot lah, he sien lah etc. then carry, but, when baby louis cry, they push back to me. end up, become i always carry him. nowadays baby louis starting to recognize me, and only want me to carry him to sleep, others carry he will cry.

charm lor. i feel so angry and upset. although i like baby louis to recognize me, but, not this type of sticky way. if i go work, i lagi cannot see how they take care baby louis.
