you must take care oh... Adult chicky pox is a bit more difficult. Btw, not too sure if you can use this chinese herb to bathe. It's suppose to be kill germs n reduce itchy-ness. After boiling in hot water, the water is reddish in colour. You use it while it's still warm. Can buy from TCM shops...

I use only 1 btl of bb detergent, after that normal detergent liao. My boy dun have sensitive skin, so no problem

carmen, drink more water and take care... that time i had chicken pox when i was in sec sch, no appetite to eat at all cos the lotion to apply is too smelly, never eat until i fainted at home.

hehe. juz got back home. detailed scan cost $80. muz talk to baby to get baby in good position. my boi was initially lying on his back. den sonographer wants him on his stomach for d laz few shots. so went out n took a litte rest. in my mind telling baby muz guai guai. den when go back in room, he on stomach le. hehe.

Although my situation was better than first trimester, my appetite still flutuates like a yoyo... On Wed, I had 3 square meals plus little snacks in between. I finished a big slice of cheese cake just before dinner! Yesterday, I could barely finish the 3 square meals. Asked my gynae before, he said as long as the bb is growing well (defined by your gynae), it does not matter.

On the side note, it's FRIDAY! Yeah! Which means 5 more days to my detailed scan! *EXCITED*

My detailed scan on the 28 July, can't wait men to confirm the gender and c bb again. I've already paid $192.60 for both NT and detailed scan.

Hey Ade, sorry to hear about the demise of your aunt. True tat preggy shd avoid such events but if u really want to go, they say to tie a red sash ard yr belly underneath yr clothes. Alternatively get sibling or yr hb or to pay respect on your behalf will do too.

adeline, it depends on your family. some ppl dun allow. eversince i was preggy, 2 ppl i know died. i did give coz i dun really care but some say its better to send flowers instead. ask your mum or MIL.. they are prob the ones who will comment on such things.

Adeline, my deepest condolences.. what my friend did was she tied a red sash ard her belly. But if u really wanna attend, remember dun touch or fold any "paper money"..

As for my weight, I've been gaining 2 kg every month since i knew i'm preggy. shot up from 47 kg to 53 kg now (might be more than that.. haven weight since last week).. my face become so round now.. makes my nose look so flat.. sianz..

Phyl.. me also never feel or see anything movements yet.. colleagues commented that my tummy obvious already.. can't hide anymore.. haha

Hi LuthAdel, my condolences on the passing of your aunt. Whether or not you want to pay your respects or give condolence money is really up to you. For me, I'm not pantang. So when my friend's father passed away a few weeks ago, I still went to the wake and gave the money. I'm quite close to her, so felt that it would not be right for me not to pay my respects. But it's really up to you, whether you really want to go or if you would feel uncomfortable about going.

Thanks for the condolences. I think I'll just give the condolence money as I know my cousin's family will need that extra help. However, I won't be going lah.

Last year I went for my cousin's husband funeral and after 2 months I suffered a miscarriage. Even though it was due to blighted ovum i still kanna scolded by all my aunts for attending. So this time round with my full belly, i better stay clear before all the missiles heads my way.

Hi Luthadel,
My first funeral in Msia- my MIL's mother pass away. One cousin was preggy. She wore a red sash below her top. Interestingly, during the "chu-shan" day, they act plucked some young grass shoots n put it inside e red sash. They also clipped some of these shoots at the waist band of the kid's pants/shorts. After the burial was completed, they threw away the red sash n the grass shoots at the cemetery before leaving.

Just asked my grandma, she say better not to go unless absolutely necessary. But it is okay to get someone to pass on the "bai-jing" on your behalf.
