choomama, ah jo, ah nut: one child is really not enough. not tt i want to nag, my life is surrounded by only children & i can c tt they really wish for a sibling. during the recent hfmd episode, i found myself wishing i did not give kai these sis & bros to bring him so much suffering. but lilian brot me back to my senses with a very simple sentence: wat is this one illness compared to the love they share? having siblings is really priceless.

ah lian: mothers r all like tt. my mother was also so happy when i had kai. even now, everybody can c she loves the boys more than Rachel. but don't let it get u down. remember, u r K's mum, so what u do & say shapes her infinitely more than ur mum ever can.

Helloo Mommies,

Haiyohz... super busy weekend for me. Thanks for all the advises. I have send my maid back to Indo on Saturday. When I rushed back to SG on Froday afternoon and scolded her about her attitude and the problems she had caused, she was not remorseful. So I gave her ultimatum what she wants: Continue or go back Indo. She then said she wants me to send her back. *aarrgghh* So cancelled her work permit and bot budget airline. Within 24-hours, she was out of my house. Thank God she is out of my house.

On top of all these 'action', baby J3 was running high fever with phlem and runny nose. Poor thing, I had to drag her around to search for new maid. Really tough finding transfer maid these days cos of all the new ruling esp for filippina maids. But luckily managed to find 1. She not say very fantastic... but at least seems willing to learn. Hopefully, this new one will not have any patterns. *cross fingers*

Your tat horrid ex-boss has the same attitude as my recent ex-boss. 2-days before I left, she gave me stupid things to do. She seems ok... whenever she make mistakes and cut corners, my dad will tell her off or else he will 'report' to me and I will scold her. After the scolding, she will do the work but of cos will show black face. She has never apologized and a few times she even dare to answer back. But I ignore cos all maids the same mah. Who knows, she got worse. Recently, can see her getting more moody and irritated easily. So we left her alone more. Then suddenly, my dad scolded her for not following isntructions again on Thursday and she just exploded.

Serious ah? I thought bcos MIL says her so and she jus replied for fun cos she is still young .. we believed she is only 18yo and was talking rubbish.

MIL abit only say her "siao" or what loh .. for example ... she ever mix whole pack of brown rice with whole pack of white rice into the rice container ... but last friday she go ask MIL wanna mix half pack or whole pack ... like tt also kena loh. My MIL mouth really bad ... imagine her boss say her stupid or siao .. she wld like it anot.

Acutally hor, I never allow my dad or anyone to scold the maid 'siao', 'stupid' or anything like this to her face. Cos they also have their dignity &amp; pride. If we dun like people scolding us such things, then we should also not treat our maid as such. Also scared if we constantly scold her like that, they really become siao, then got big probs liaoz.

Eehh.. how was her attitude when she said this to your MIL? Was it in playful tone? I would be wary if the maid tells me such thing leh. Maybe I'm too phobia already. Especially after reading those newspaper articles where the maid suddenly becomes crazy.

Yes yes... pls tell your MIL dun scold the maid like that liaoz. Sometimes they do needs lots of reminders. I know it's frustrating but having maid is like that lor.

Sometimes the maid smile is becos after scolding, they paiseh already and dun dare to answer back. Yet at same time, it's like a form of apologies without saying sorry out-right. But if your maid keeps smiling to herself for no reason then I will be really worried.

When u have ur 2nd one, just keep latching and latching. take supplements if u have to lor.. i think many mummies can help u when u have ur 2nd!

recently i noticed that V's right eye has been rather teary. my hub surfed the web and it explained that it could be due to blocked tear duct but no cause for concern as it will clear up when they are older. but we hv another concern cos my hub's side of family has history of glaucoma, and teary eyes is 1 of the symptons of it. am i being too paronoid? shd i bring V to the doc for an opinion?
