my colleague who always order from amazon warned for dvds, there may b a chance it got confiscated by censorship board which she gena once.. not sure abt children dvds but she warned of the possibility.. Anyway for snail mail which take approx 3 weeks cost around S$10.. So total may come up to be S$44??? $7 cheaper ..

im back! hope eveyone is well. =)

i was hospitalise due to bad MS &amp; frequent fainting spells. bad MS = no food = weak = keep want to faint. the moment i stand up, i want to faint &amp; puke. my stomach full of stomach acid. &amp; my weight drop from 37kg to 32kg..

I also rely on sweets alots to stop the fainting.. but no use but it help abit though..

saw some mummy clueless on potty training. &amp; i happen to receive an email from babycentre.

There was a short heavy rain here juz now in JK after two days of humid weather. How abt ur side? Hopefully u dun feel so HOT after the rain. Hehe.

Family pet dog passed away last wk and finally no more pets to take care at home. Immediately hb say wanna go buy hamsters back and I say nope. Yesterday morning he went downstairs for coffee ... for super long ... and brought back two hamsters! Faintz. MIL also cant stand it and jokingly ask Lucas to go grab the hamsters tight until they die! I told MIL how can you tell Lucas to do this?

The baby boy has a brother, three-year-old Ameerul Muqmee, who also celebrates his birthday on August 9.

ya.. drizzling.. tot will heavy rain.. seems it's more humid..


minky's request on my #2's birth story ...nothing interesting..

had gynae appt on the same day i popped.. (same as T1)
Dr checked me &amp; dilated 2cm dilated. &amp; put me on CTG. &amp; realised that bb not moving much. &amp; he worried. so asked me to go walk around &amp; come back after 10 mins. 2nd time CTG seem ok. But he still asked me if i wan to deliver the same day anot.. that time i already start feeling sng sng on the back &amp; mild contraction.. Hence, he asked me to monitor til 7pm (which is 1.5 hr apart) &amp; yes. i still feel sng sng &amp; contraction.. so decided to admit by 8pm.. when i'm on the way to hospital... the contraction is as near as 5mins apart but not as intense.. still bearable..
8.10-8.30pm > do admission at counter
8.30pm > see dr &amp; he break my water bag &amp; he rush for his lunch &amp; dinner... 3cm dilated
8.35-8.55pm > get prepared.. clear bowel...
9.05pm > go to delivery ward... put me on drip..
9.15 - 9.20pm > pain start to feel unbearable. dilated 4cm.. nurse ask if i want laughing gas..but i didnt ask for it..
9.35-10pm > 6cm unbearable.. used laughing gas.. got urge to push!!! v pain.. nurse checked me already 8cm..strong urge to push liao.. asked me to stop pushing. 2cm to go.. laughing gas on me all the way. til i delivered... thru out.. this time laughing gas helped me alot... although i cant see a thing.. but i heard the nurses instruction... when the pain at high peak.. they asked me breathe in.. &amp; it's amazing.. i listened &amp; it stop me from pushing..forget the pain awhile. And i tink i had a dream.... that i have already delivered my bb.. &amp; the next moment..when my mind is clearer abit.. i saw the gynae &amp; ohhhh no... it's not over... dr used foresep to turn bb head.. he asked me to push &amp; with two pushes. bb is out.. at 2205hrs.. on 4th Aug 2010..

he weight 2.755kg nia.. smaller than T1.

Lucky this time smarter.. admit to hospital earlier.. if not duno wat will happen... haaha..

The best thing is when BIL ask hb he knows how to catch the hamsters anot? He say he dun dare ... when he bought it, the boss's maid caught it and put them in the new cage .. means maid and I gotta take care of it loh!

oh dear, 37 to 32kg?! and u are so petite, 37kg in the first place? U must take care and try to eat when u have the appetite. Things will only get better and better, so no worries K?

wow, brave mummy!!! No Epidural! Reading your birth story really make me very very ganjiong leh... Must really salute u!! I dun think I can b like u leh cos my pain threshold is v low... think the 1st thing I will ask will be epidural liao... I know that #2 should be faster than #1, but not sure I can dong anot leh.... gan jiong gan jiong...

i did leh.. i tong til 2am den slp. next pump i wake up morning pump.... i wanna wake up at 5 or 6 am.. cannot make it... &amp; tummy super cramp this two days...try harder today lor..

wanna try to latch exclusively.. but hard leh.. find the latching part like incorrect... duno bb is drinking anot.. &amp; when bb go my room. seem like cannot slp one...then put him back to cot. asked maid to feed him EBM.

mummy who latch on. can advise me?

use to keep 6 of them bt i am a bad owner they all didn't really survive for a long time v sad. Have fun with the hamsters they are sweet creatures just don't scare them make them get use to u before you start carrying them they love treats so that is a good way to make them like u.

Ali, maybe u can ask Fifi to intro u her LC than can latch the right way?

congratz!
If bb latch on n is satisfied after his feed, then he should be drinking well, right? Also u can look out for how he suckled. After a while, it should be a rythematic sucking,or something like that.

More importantly, if latch on correctly, u should not feel pain nor hard pulling. Now still early stage, if u express instead of latching on, you not scared the supply not established ah?Happy bf-ing!

Btw, what the new prince' name?

I used to keep white dwarf hamsters before ... hb wanted it .. but I was the one who is taking care of it during our dating times ... even handling the dead hamsters one fine morning on my own. I cant forget how I slide the tray of hay and dead hamsters onto pc of newspaper, wrap it up in a plastic bag and threw it down the rubbish chute.

Last time I also had problem latching on so I went back to TMC's LC. Other than the 'techniques' and the 'angle', think our posture and 'tool' (chair, supporting pillows) also important neh. I used MyBrestFriend pillow (good for back support too) last time and managed to latch on successfully. You wanna try that?
