When aden had his ear infection, same thing happened to him. very grouchy and cranky at nite suddenly wake up and is unconsolable. sometimes i wld jus watch in vain cos he wouldn't let me touch him or sayang him and seems like there's nothing that he wants.

Initially, cos of the ear infection PD had already warned us that the baby's sleep will be affected. Den was told to put a pillow under his head to prevent the mucus/phlegm from back following hence irritating him.

We also tried after bath, to suck his snot before putting him down to bed.
I bot the baby vicks as well to apply before bedtime.

If he is well already and all of the above fails, can read up on night wakings. Can be due to a number of reasons.
e.g afraid of the dark, trouble falling back to sleep, etc.. HTHs *hugs*

China scams
Now, whenever i pick up a call and its a china person, i jus say, sorry can u speak in english? and they'll jus hang up.. wahaahaha </font>

?? i wont even bother to talk to them. when i heard a China speaking person, i'll jus hang up without saying a word..
 
Lucia, got the period of waking up last mth when Greg was teething/sick - the back molars think make him uncomfortable and he was recovering fr cough..so he woke up very agitated. Carry him he dont want, yet I put him down he also scream!
He wld be crying and fussing for abt an hr too..so can empathise.. Me cried also coz I was terribly frustrated and tired from wakign up :x

So checked with PD and he gave us some medicine to let him 'sleep thru' and break the cycle/habit of waking up.

Luckily it lasted abt a week or so only...now he sleeps with us, he is much better and seldom wake up at night.

Hugs..hope your girl gets over this period soon!

*hi-5* I also pretend can't speak chinese and dun understand. Then they give up and will hang up on me. After a couple of times, now seldom get such calls liaoz. Tink they hv striked me off their 'contacts' list. *lolz*

tink your girl wake up cos could be phelm is irritating her or she just feels uncomfortable and dunno how to express bah. If the phelm is bothering her, maybe can try applying some baby vicks on her chest, behind her ears and neck. Also put some on the soles of her feet and wear socks. Then check her sleep environment. Is it too warm or too cold?

Oic... thks for translating. Aiyohz... with such news coming out again again on the terrible quality of MIC stuffs, I'm now going to boycott all MIC food stuffs. So scary leh. Dunno wat nonsense they hv added into the foods just becos they want to increase their bottom line.

*eerrkkss* Tats super scary leh. Even shampoo not spared. Tink we should stop buying MIC stuffs that comes into contact with our bodies. Regardless it's consumed internally or worn/use externally.

ya, shd avoid all the MIC food &amp; usable stuffs... but wear stuffs hard to avoid since nowadays lots of apparels are all MIC.

Re: Calls from China Ladies
If you get calls telling you that a police officer or some civil servant is following up from some offence that you committed, please ignore. Its a scam. Been reported in the papers before.

my hubby went china last week, 1 of his biz associate ther brought him to dinner and asked my hub wat he can't eat. hub said he can't take seafood (cos he's allergic), then came a plate of prawns and the guy offered it to hub. hub told him again he can't take seafood. guess what? he told hub "dun worry, these prawns are from the river, not the sea"! ^_^
