Hahaha, certainly not your girl. Now my boy also does that in shopping centres, I guess more toddlers out there will learn from him too. It's a cycle!

OMG, I hope the pasir ris branch is ok. I will try out for 12days and see how it goes. Everybody(my hubby and mil) tire out taking care of my rascal, so no choice got to put him in.

Yes I did that. I didnt book any apptmt. My boy happily play with blocks with the older kids, although there's one kid who hits my child.

choomama: don't worry so much. just give it a try. for all u know, the one u sending him to may be better than those tt jenn, jo &amp; 3jems tried. for myself, i used to work in SBS (yes, bus co) &amp; the staff there all sent their kids to toa payoh ntuc childcare (old name of my first skool). all had pretty good feedback so different centre will b different.

RCB: ya, don't let the kid get away w biting J. i also super annoyed w kai's school lately. there's a bully in his class always picking on him. i feel like going to his school &amp; hang this boy upside down for 1 hour!

Lately, I've been toying with the idea of returning to the work force. But every time I hear of horror stories re cc and maid, I backed off on the idea. My brains are growing weeds Liao

Ask u ah, any idea if we can put conditioner on hb's hair? Are there any hair conditioner specially formulated for bb/tods? I've been taking nat for swimming quite frequently these days, and am concerned over the effects of swimming pool water on her hair.

i bought from her a few times already. i bought the swimmer's defense from her and i am actually using it for myself haha... n also i bought the super sensitive shampoo and bath and also bubble baths from her. the price is v much cheaper then what is sold outside. bt if u find that it is too troublesome u can go to get them at mom's essential and i think departmental stores also carry. issac love the bubble bath by the way. it is our routine at night to play before he sleep. i will blow him bubbles and he will chuckle.

RCB and Olwen, actually i feel that kids should resolve their own prob in sch because if the parents step in the bully will say Kai is a mummy's boy that will make the situation worst. We all have our fair share of situation like this in sch isn't it bt we all turn out fine it is part of growing up i guess. Bt of course unless it get out of hand like Kai coming back with all BLUE BLACK or Cuts... than that is another story...

I guess the boy also lonely, seems like nobody wants to play with him, perhaps due to his naughtiness?!

The funny thing is when I went down to the CC, the kids there thought I'm the new teacher. Some come over to show me their master piece and one little girl wants to play with me. Perhaps I should quit to become a CC teacher

Whenever I bring my gals for swimming, I will use those de-chlorinator shampoo. Even for J3. This will be followed by their usual organic conditioner.

Make big complaint to the form teacher. That time when J1 got harassed and bullied by 3 gals, I wrote in a very firm email to notify the form teacher. When there was not much action, I followed up with a nasty email giving her ultimatum before I report the matter to Principal and MOE. Wah... the form teacher straightaway take action. The next day arranged to meet me and my gal to discuss on the bully case. Within a week, the matter was resolved and the 3 gals learnt their lessons. Now they are all friends. Lesson learnt - make noise... lots of it - when required. Because the teachers nowadays got KPO, they also scared to blow small matters into big issues.

Oh dear... why choose My First Skool? J3 only lasted there for about 2-weeks then I give up. Pulled her out. Not much educational activities. And the teachers just have the mentality of - I'm just doing my job. Dun feel they are CC teachers cos they love children. Then again, after the incident, I have bias against this school. Maybe the branch at your place will be better?

yah...register my boy in the same cc as his jie jie liao...they are currently at full capacity so have to wait till the K2 class graduate at the end of the year before they can consider new kids.

is My First Skool or little treehouse something the same? from the old NTUC CC? If it was the old NTUC...then i also agree shdnt be too good...coz the reputation is quite bad i remembered reading a lot of negative feedback before.

I'm not sure whether Little Treehouse and My First Skool is related. But My First Skool was definately the old NTUC CC. Yah... initially heard lots of negative feedback on NTUC CC. But after they changed management, tot things were improving. Unfortunately, that did not seem to be the case on my side. Just feel that lots of parents send their children there mainly due to the low fees. Private CC's costs a whole lot more - usually from $600 upwards.

Overall, I tink everything should be ok. Not having #2 could be due to several reasons like stress, diet, timing, etc. But if you feel that a medical examination will be good, then go for it.

Previously when I did not hv maid and other helpers, I will feed my gals the tingkat dinner I ordered. Then a few times a week, I will cook either stew or soup using slow cooker. On super lazy days, I even ta-bao makan for them. hehehhehe....

That's why I'm still having my maid ... most impt thing is to prepare Lucas dinner and wait for him to come back for dinner. I dun wanna cook the porridge in the slowcooker from morning before gg to work till Lucas gets home.

If no maid, I guess eat outside food together or replace with milk/ cereal feed?
 
jewels, I tink if t kid is about 3-4 yrs old liao, its OK to feed them tingkat or ta-bao makan. But for 2yr old, still too young hor?

what ur maid do when Lucas is in CC? actually not much hseworks to do leh. so i was wondering should i hire another maid or not. cos me also headache about my gals's dinner when Trella go CC in Jan. and my current maid leaving soon.
 
Kash, ya cool weather for confinement bt i will miss all my holidays which is the sad part.
As for Issac he has to go to a CC bt i have yet to secure a place for him in any. Which is good u recommend? Which sch are you putting your kids?

Lian, actually my boy also like outside food. Bt he only have outside food on weekends when we bring him out.

Whenever I bring him out, I will replace milk with cereals ... easier and he will finish it fast. When he goes CC, if there are milk feed timings, he will get cereals also. The plain Friso rice cereals.

My house got four adults ... cant compare with urs. The maid will have to handwash clothes, iron clothes, clean the whole house (all tabletops) and Lucas toys, wash toilet, sweep and mop the floor and prepare dinner for Lucas and us. MIL will sure ask her to wipe the walls, fans and kitchen and toilet glass door after she finish her daily tasks. MIL sure can think of whatever tasks and get her to do ... All these shall be daily tasks. So far has not started yet cos Lucas hasnt gone CC (will be mid Aug)

Tink it's ok bah. When we had tingkat dinners and all, J1 was only about 20-months leh. No major issues lah. For J3, she has been having outside food since she was 18-months. Cos I'm not so diligent to cook and bring out makan specially for her.

my gal goes to Kinderland so E will joins her. no point sending both to different cc. I suggest u find one near ur home so it is easy for logistic to send and pick up. My gal's cc is abt 7 mins drive from my place but only a few traffic lights from my mum's place.

I personally prefer bungalow CC settings over HDB... i visited both and prefer the bungalow environment. Suggest u better shop around and visit the cc...visit the place and speak to the teachers/principal and observe the kids there... start shopping early! good luck! If i have $$$ i will send them both to Pats schoolhouse

oh dear...sounds bad... how's the teacher-student ratio? if too many children to 1 teacher...it will be very tough to handle.

kash, my mum can help me cook dinner for my gal if my gal goes to full day CC. For now, I am planning 1/2 day CC first.

Karen, I oso nvr ask my mum to cook things other than porridge for my gal. So everyday is boring porridge.

For me, I still cook meals for her even we are going out, unless its very early in t morning then bo bian. I find it more troublesome to find suitable restaurants to eat at, even u find one its always crowded.

Can't remember the student-teacher ratio. But the toddler class J3 went to had about 15-20 children with about 2 teachers around. Yah... agree that if too many students, will be tough for Teacher to manage. I still like Kinderland better. Because J2 attends Kinderland, I can see the diff in educational and CC standards. Now waiting for vacancy for J3.

Heard lots of good reviews on Cherie Hearts. Tink Lucas will be more happy there compared to My First Skool. OMG!! They really delay your refund leh. Did you question why the refund take so long? Maybe can threaten that you will report this delay to their HQ?

Yeah!! National Day is next monday! Anyone going to the Padang for the parade? Me tried to ballot... but no luck this year. *sob-sob* now thinking how to go watch the fireworks leh. I'm not booking hotels cos it's exorbitantly ex! Dunno whether to go MBS Skypark. heheheheheh

I always call Lucas "Darling" ... and over the weekend, he tries to call mi "Darling" so gently ... as he seldom hears my MIL call my name nowadays, he dun call mi "Jolene".

Note that if you are not a room guest of MBS, you are not allowed to use the pool at the Skypark hor. Only the observation deck. But the view is really good.

Jo, it is really cute ah the things they do. Mine is a destructive n curious kiddo. He spoil almost everything he touches. Ya they are parrots now. Mine also will call me "Darl"haha kind of funny... especially he imitate the way we say the word. Cause i am always shouting at my Hb who i call Darl so when Issac call his dad "Darl" he will shout hahaa... so funny.
