^5 too! Yeah! I took 3x to pass my license. First time, the tester said I road hogged. Second time, he said I speeding. *faintz* Lucky got it right the 3rd time round. *lolz*

Yah yah... super tough to do the test there siah. Lots of heavy traffic. But my instructor berry good. He teach me more defensive driving skills mixed with when to do agressive driving. hahahahah. Else cannot chng lanes and filter out siah. No one will give way hor. Pervert drivers there like to bully learners. *bish*

eehh... I tot you chng your nick liaoz. heheheh. My hub also graduated from bbdc. He also not bad driver leh. But can see initially he not used to driving around heavy vehicles. Will try to avoid. hehehehhe...

I would say better to refresh during daytime cos better visibility. Go to those roads with less traffic. For eg: can drive from Bt Batok to CCK and back. Start out with shorter distance and then slowly build up to longer. *good luck*

his nap time sounds ok lei.. my gal these days also 1 nap nia.. ~2-3hrs.. except these few days she v drowsy cos of her cough medications..
That time my MIL say she went to the stadium evening time ran 2 rounds!! then at nite slept thru not even moving much.. haha... tink she really tired aft e workout so mayb u can try as well..
I also read from somewher if a kid keeps waking up at a certain time of the nite.. in ur case 2.30am.. u can try waking him up a little at ~15mins earlier... he may stil b drowsy when u wake him up so may stil b able to fall back asleep after that.. this may help to break his cycle.. see if u wan to try ba.. And try to keep ur room as dark as possible as well as to keep e toys in separate room
 
wah, today, i mean yest topic abt driving ah. I graduated from aus so u can imagine me being so scared driving in spore..I got my license earlier than my hub...in the end, he's the one driving and now so much better than me. I juz help to horn..wahahah

oh..me 3x..imagine?! faints..first time i panicked..and the tester said i nearly caused accident which i feel tt i didnt lor..2nd time, why ah? forgot leh.. 3rd time..hehe..i was prepared to fail so wen tester said i passed i was like huh? u sure? hehehe...sigh, better start driving again..so lazy..

Didn't have a gd nite sleep, keep waking up to chk the alarm clock, and for twice I saw the time is near to my waking up time. Then on the 3rd time, it showed 330am..... I went out to look at t clock outside, it is actually 530am. Wah piang !!!

yesterday evening after i reached home from work, me and and hubby brought D to the playground downstairs and let him climb up and down, made him walk and run alot. then after his last feed of milk, i tried to make him sleep at about 10pm but he took one whole hour to finally fall asleep. before he fell asleep, i told him very sternly,'guai hor. dun wake up in the middle of the night to disturb daddy and mummy hor. or else i'll piak u again ah.' hehehe..funny enough, he din wake up last nite! haha.. i dunno whether it's the workout last evening or it's my warning to him. :p
Let's see whether he sleeps thru tonite anot. hehe..

driving license- i got mine at yio chu kang and i took 5 times to pass the driving test. I was told every time i failed the test by the tester that i'm too reckless in my driving. :p thus, till today, whenever I drive my hubby's car when he's overseas, he'll always remind me to drive slowly and carefully coz his car is his precious one.hahaha..

There was a period of time Lucas will wake up and whine. I got so tired and one nite before he sleep, I also told him "U better sleep quietly tonite, dont disturb mummy hor". And yes, he heard and understood mi. Haha.

re: driving
I took my driving lessons from private instructor at BBDC. Passed at 3rd time. The instructor is staying right above my level .. if I cant drive now, I better not drive else 'chu chow' if kena seen.

I loved 'gong xin ji' .. chase it every nite. Ask the maid to bring in Lucas highchair and feed him milk in my room so I can watch my show and scold Lucas when he dun drink.

my J also...recently on n off will wake up in the middle of the nite to whine...before he slp i also tell him dun wake up in the middle of the nite n disturb us ok...sometimes it will work la...lol

Re: Driving
I passed 2nd time at BBDC (private instructor). First time is suay. In circuit, I had to jam brake to avoid a car that suddenly reverse and very fast (those drivers that got no provisional license and can only stay in circuit kind). As a result of avoiding accident, I blocked traffic and it was in circuit with CCTV cameras so instructor said he has no choice have to fail me. He say I was really suay coz the other driver do stupid things and "hai" me. 2nd time, purposely book a slot where dun have all these drivers so I passed.

My husband, although very new driver, is improving much faster than me. He got more skill, so just add on experience will be ok. GPS helps him a lot coz he can concentrate on the road and no need to worry about directions.


Re: Waking in the night
Try ignoring them when they wake up. If just whine abit, ignore and see how. They will learn to go back to sleep on their own. If they cry then no choice lah, have to step in.

yah, sometimes i really wonder whether D really understand what I'm telling him or not. coz most of the times, he have no eye-contact with me when i tok to him and he usually ignored me and carried on playing with his toys. and he'll scream and struggle if i tried to make him look at me while i'm toking.

Haiz..now i'm preparing myself to answer alot of questions when I bring D to KKH's child development dept next month to get assesment. he's been scheduled an appt there becoz he doesn't talk, have no eye-contact with us, fine motor skills poor and lots more. hope he doesn't have anything related to autism. sianz..

Yes, for me i do ignore J after tat pat him...
then he slp a while wake up n whine again...put teething gel also no use nw...He will scream n cry louder...until my hubby scold me becos of him...cos i dun want to give him milk at 4am or 6am...Then got to give lor...Realli fed up...makes me so tired if he wakes up so early...Y becos of children or money quarrel i realli very sian~

wah..all u mummies always have very nice things to eat for lunch leh.
me most of the time have hawker food,hor fun,fishball noodles,economical rice,mee goreng..etc and the cycle goes round and round.. only will get to eat jap food once in a while if my colleague or myself strike 4D..hehe :p
 
Middle of night waking,
J3 also used to wake at 4am for milk. I got so fed-up and started giving her diluted milk. Slowly for each feed I added more and more water. At same time, we also start giving her a last feed at 11.30pm. Even though she is sleeping, we will gently rouse her, change her diaper. Most of time she will still be sleeping, but when we give her the bottle, she will sleep feed. hahahaha... After awhile, no more 4am wakings.


Lunch,
Today had ramen at a Jap restaurant at Robertson Walk. It's supposed to be authentic jap ramen, cooked by a jap chef. Not bad... but ex leh. $11 for a bowl and little bit of char siew.
