I have started disciplinary on my girl when she turns 6 months. Once a PD told mi that before 6 months, the baby is not aware of what they did, but once they turn 6 months they truly know what they are doing and from then you have to start your preaching. kekekeke..... first time i slap claudia on the thigh she was shock, she didnt know wat was that, but after that she know that when she is notti she will get it. and now when she wans to do something notti i say "mummy Da da huh!" then she will just stop doing it.

I've smacked Bb J hands and buttocks a few times but she will just look at me, then smack me back. *faintz* Then she also getting more naughty. When I tell her "no-no" a few times, she will turn and stare at me, then start to growl. So end up, whenever she does something naughty, I'll tell her "no-no" 3x. After that if she does it, I'll put her into her play pen as punishment. But she will scream and yell even before her legs hit the mattress. Aiyohz...

I think the toys warehouse sale that rainbowcandybaby mentioned is worth going.. if you have the time to..
Found a couple of fisherprice toys which are going 20-50 bucks lesser than retail price in the stores.
Bought a fisherprice activity table for $40, superstar stacker for $20, fisherprice electronic book for $15, gym for $50, rocker for $40 etc...
Superstar walker retail price $59.90 going at $40, jumparoo for $200, got barbie dolls, barney toys, elmo etc etc..
But be prepared some of their condition are not as good as brand new, some quite dirty.. so pick the good ones fast!

Dymples, Snnowy, thanks for ur advice. Dymples I guess i nv wonder how she felt. I guess deep down inside she already wish for something and not having her wish fulfilled can be very devastating. Cos personally if it was me i would be very disappted too. to have MIL rubbing it in even though it wasn't on purpose must be very hurting. I will try to understand wat SIL is gg through.. sigh guess there is nothing i can do.

baby seem to be quite picky abt food lately. realized she actually quite enjoys wholemeal bread. dun seem to enjoy porridge that much now. prefers rice. even gave her rice with bananas e other day.=P maybe she prefers more texture?? gonna try and give her tomato, cheese and pasta again tom, it was a total flop last sun.

any mummies having any success training baby to drink milk from cup/sippy cup?
