I tot the AVA recommend for us to throw away all Julie Biscuits? There was a newspaper report on this just over the weekend leh.

Aiyoh... nowadays seems like nothing is spared frm Melamine. Now the news is saying that even chicken eggs are tainted. Wat's next?? *faintz* Even though our govt says the melamine content is low... but how for us preggie women? Our BB's in our womb? Now I stay away from all "Made in China" foodstuffs. Just to be safe lor.

For my first 2 births, I din have any CL to help out. So for breakfast, either I'll have milo and bread/biscuits. Or else, my hub will "ta-pao" back things like Chwee kuay, soup noodles, porridge, etc. The older folks said as long as we abstain from highly allergenic foods like seafood, eggs, dark sauce and "windy" foods can liaoz. So far I never suffered any side effects from not going thru any proper confinement. Likeiwse for this coming birth. No CL to help out. Only diff is this time... I got a maid to help out versus handling everything alone with hub.

Re: Confinement breakfast
its a relief to know that we can actually eat bread n crackers. i thought even brekkie must eat cooked food, hahah.. will prob ask hubby to get me buns from bakery if poss and my fav muffins from starbucks once in a while.hhaha..if not, its prob crackers and instant milo/oats or milk.

Re breakfast for confinement, I have been eating peanut butter or margarine with bread, mee swa, cakes - marbled butter cake, swiss roll and toast.

vincy, lets hope vera's jaundice will go down soon and no need to be admitted. Do try to suntan her in the early mornings hopefully to bring the level down.

Just returned from the gynae. Today is 38w6d and bb still very comfortable in me. Cervix is still 1cm dilated and soften only a little. Gynae says bb unlikely to pop for the next few days. Argghh... some of you do not want bb to come out fast, me on the other hand cant wait to carry him in my arms.

Gynae is going on leave on 30th oct and back only on 5th nov which is my edd. Anyway, already shedule induction on 4th nov nite incase bb decide not to come out as yet. Gynae say cannot let bb overdue as bb may be too big for natural birth. Aiyo, in the end, still need to induce. *faintz* Hopefully no need induce.

I also can't wait for BB to be delivered. My pelvis feels so uncomfortable, then have difficulty sleeping at night, plus got heartburn. *haiz* But like what I was telling hub last night. Now I want BB to faster come out. Later will want to "put" BB back inside cos more convenient mah. *lol* wherever I go... BB gotta go along. Then also no need to lug around a huge diaper bag. hehehehehe...

Hi Mummies..

This is cc aka. b|aders. I have popped on Sunday, 26 Nov at 9am.

My birth story:

- 1am slight bleeding, went to bed
- woke up 4am slightly more bleeding and feeling of cramps.
- called gynae , he said in labour already
- admitted to hospital and checked in to delivery suite at 6am
- gynae arrived at about 6.30am
-dilated 2-3 cm
- Edpidural administered at 8am
- severe contractions despite epi administered
- called nurse twice to increase dose
- gynae came back to suite at 8.56am
- checked cervix 10cm fully dilated
- delivered baby in 9 minute, baby came out at 9.05am.

Had a restful stay at the hospital, now home resting...

Seems like most mom that pop is around the same EDD as me... so exciting. me patiently waiting for my turn while still going to be at work...

I have been handling a project since 2007 and the system is going the rollout on 24th Nov 08 and my EDD is on 27th Nov 08. So close.... I don't even dare to tell them that i want to go off early.

Minkybear, me too. I have achy fingers around the joint area, esp in the morning. I also dont know what to do with it and ignore it. Hopefully it will go away when bb is born.

fifi, hiaz, we tong ming xiang lian. *hugz* Hopefully our bbs cooperate with us lah and our cervix guai guai soften and dilate for easier birth.

dymples, me too, cant sleep at night, got heartburn too. So many things for happen for this preg, uncontrolled weight, achy joints, sleepless nights, heartburn, pelvic discomfort, very swollen feet, headache, heavy tummy, backache.. the list goes on and on... *signz*
But cant complain much, that's the sacrifice i have to make. Hopefully my boy guai guai come out soon so these discomfort will go away. I'm getting so tired of waiting le, cant wait to have him in my arms and play with him.

Congrats to mummies who popped!

I'm so tired of confinement. everyday, i eat,sleep, express milk, clean body with warm towel, perspire..... so smelly! can wash hair. dry shampoo can only help a bit. sigh....

Now i can only express about 120ml a day. so tiring. have to mix formula and bm for my son coz he drinks a lot! he still stay awake if we only give him 60ml. 70ml will make him sleep for 4 hrs. going to see PD tmr.

I try to log on whenever i can.....

Yah lor... the things we mommies have to go thru. hehhehe... that's why we are so "wei-da"!! Haiz. The experiences I went thru this preggie is so so diff from my previous 2 which were more smooth going. This one seems to have almost all the classic symptoms associated with pregnancies. *faintz* Going for my 36-week check tomolo. Hope my gynae tells me I'm ready for delivery. My tum-tum feels so heavy liaoz. Sometimes I get a sharp pain at my groin area too. Dunno issit cos BB is pressing down.

Milderina, Tristan is 48cm via natural with epidural.

He is taking small feeds at about 60ml per 2 hrs so have to go through more feeds everyday.Cant seem to prolong his feeding time....

Milderina-Just to check, do u send ur gal to school? I thot of sending my boy maybe for weekend classes to those playgroup or enrichment classes for a couple of hrs for him to interact, play and learn new things but not sure near northeast area which are recommended?

kash.... haha yest when i logged in i saw u 1 day b4 me in GE... was thinking maybe our bb sleep beside each other and "seen" each other.... hahaha... me in rm 506....

ok my birth story...

12am - start to experience some tummyache... timming the interval of the pain... about 10 mins apart...
1am - sms hubby to come home as he is having mj session with his frens... while waiting i bath n did some packing....
3am - reach hospital. nurse did v check.. only 1.5 cm dilated..
5am - pain become nearer... ask for laughing gas.. did v check... still 1.5 cm!!!
ard 5:45 - suddenly got the urge to push... nurse came in and did v check.. suddenly my cervix opened 8 cm liao!.. nurse hurry call my gynea...
6am - water bag burst...
6:30am - gynea came... asked me to push....
6:46am - my gal came out after 2 pushes...

never expect this 1 to be so fast! my 1st 1 was in labour ward for 27 hrs!... just 3 hrs in labour ward this 1 is out liao....

have not downloaded her photo to the pc yet... will upload her photo once i loaded her photo...
