today for the 1st time in my life, someone gave up his seat for me in the train haahaa... somemore he was a few seats away and i was so stunned i couldn't react, he had to indicate me to take the seat for the 2nd time.. Din even say thank you to him, blur liao..

dun think that u can start drinking coconut juice now as it is super liang. But i started drinking 3 times a week when i hit 34 weeks last preg. recommendation is to start drinking when u hit 35 weeks coz u will be heaty at that time.

oh dear, has jovial recovered? any idea where he caught the cough & fever? My hb is sick again too.. i am very fedup with him coz abt 1 mth ago he was down with flu now again. My gal did not get it from the the last time so i hope this time also wont kenna. We all sleep in the same room in aircon so i am worried...

did u bring jovial for flu vaccine? I brought my gal for flu vaccine when she was 7th mth. althou it doesn't protect every strain but i guess perhaps some strains also better than nothing?

I havent got any craving as yet. Infact the heartburn is still making me quite nausea at times. I realised that I get thristy very easily and have been drinking more water. Anyone experiencing the same thing??

oh the pneumoccocal jab. My gal also finished her last jab a few days after she turned 1. Luckily no fever. I KS that time when she 6 weeks old, brought her for the 1st dose of pneumoccocal jab liao... the flu vaccine is another extra one...

Their medela pump &amp; save milk bags r so much cheaper. Regretted not ordering it t last time! They r selling USD 7.99 (20 bags) and Kiddy Palace selling $27 or $29 (can't remember) !

Peanut, i also feel breatheless &amp; have a little of nasal pain sometimes, on &amp; off. Dunno y too? My DH get me the plaster tat can put on our nose, said it may help coz he saw it on the tv ad but I don't really dare to use it. Coz he said after use, my nose holes mayb enlarge @_0...hahaha

dun worry i also got that strip and confirmed with the pharmacist that its safe for pregnant women.. cos no drug involved. Wat they does is to enlarge ur nose passageway when u stick it on so can breathe easier. I tried once while sleeping and it does help to some extent... however u mus stick correctly at the correct angle. No harm trying if ur block nose is really getting onto ur nerves..

Peanut, i always have nasal congestion cos i suffer from multiple allergies. i have it since young but noticed that my nose is worse during pregnancy. now it is completely blocked.

To answer your questions on imaternity. We need to use vpost to ship cause IM dont ship direct to singapore. There is no need for consolidation, but of cause, if you buy more items, then the freight cost will be relatively lower cause you split by the no. of items mah.

Carol, actually IM can ship over using UPS, accordin to their website. But charges more ex than vPost. U used vPost b4? Normally how long they take to ship ur stuff over? I made payment last Thurs, wonder if my stuff r on their way...

Bear, coordination work meaning u have 2 email your purchase invoice to vPost. After they recv your goods at their warehse, they might take some time to match tat invoice to t goods. (In fact, I emailed them to ask them to match my invoice to my recvd goods.. coz i impatient)
After matching, they will send an email asking u 2 generate a payment invoice. After generating, they will send u another email asking for payment. I wonder why they cannot have all these done thru' their web. Have 2 keep checking emails for updates.
But no choice la, they r cheaper :p

My gynae told me need to wait 2 weeks for blood test results. Got my results last Saturday, everything doing fine. Phew. Then gynae tell me end of this mth (5th mth pregnancy) go detailscan. Starting to feel abit worrying again ...

Didnt realize that IM does ship to SG, anyway, have been using vpost and they are quite prompt. From IM to SG takes abt 2 weeks or less. Quite fast de. ^^

coconut juice: i had some during 1st tri coz i was just so thirsty all the time!!but i try not to take too much now. been taking carrot juice almost daily now.

confession: i have NO clue what we need to buy now already. went taka to walk around the kids dept yesterday. there is soooo much stuff to choose from. but i really love e organic baby clothes, its sooooo soft and i think as much as poss i will try to get some organic pdts, esp for baby's skin. its a pity we dun have as much choices as the states where organic baby pdts are more easily available.

lunch: me had veg bee hoon which i have been cravin since yesterday! bot tau suan for tea time later too.=P

hope that i can take some time to do some brisk walking later this evening aft work. =>
 
Jo, it seems like at diff stage of pregnancy we are always worrying abt things.. 1st trimester worry abt fetus developing, 2nd trimester worry abt e tests results.. think we just have to be done with the detailed scan to feel better n safe =)

Haru, i think there is a list of things online to buy. it depends on u, if u want ur bb to slp in cots, buy stroller, clothes etc. to tell the truth i also dunno wat to buy. shd buy newborn clothes or 0-3 mths? shd buy long sleeves, short sleeves? how many outfits? how abt bathing stuff? bb skin is sensitive right? so many questions...

Carol, detailed scan shows how ur bb is developing. everything will be scanned and measured, the feet, hands, head, heart, etc. usually our normal scan only 5 mins but detailed scan is abt 45mins-1hr. it is scanned on the tummy.

Can i check with you when is the best week to take the triple test? I was arranged to take a detailed scan on Wk 20 (02/Jul) but was not told about the blood test.
 
jenn, yup 2-3 days result will be out. My clinic got informed that they will call and let me know once result is out. Be it good or ..

Carol, mine is at 3pm. normally i opted for afternoon slot so that after that can directly go home heehee..
Detailed scan, i heard from my friends is thru tummy and they scan thru all the parts like mouth nose neck etc and generate the report. Took abt 30-45mins if im not wrong.
