Anyway just curious,

anybody here uses medicated oil????? whether is axe brand or other brands....i often apply some on nostril and forehead when i dizzy...is it safe fr preg?

Hi all,

Can I join too? My EDD is 1st Nov, but i think might be early cos my first was delivered at 38th Week. However, I'm not in SIN now as my hubby is stationed in the US, I'll be delivering my bb in US then returning home when hubby's contract is done. So for now, my cravings can't be satisfied at all... U mummies are so lucky can have all the food u want to eat.

I am a fan of medicated oil too. But when preg, my mum advised its better to avoid cos can cause "hong" in dialect, means wind to bb... So I have cut down alot also

Lala, i scare to go hawker center looking at the unclear food. make me want to puke. The crowded also make me giddy. The MS is getting worst since wk7, i cant diff between hungry or full...tummy is forever upset. But i am glad to have MS. Without i will be more worried.

Mine was 16 hours of labour!! I don't really mind coz 16 hours passed by quite quickly as compared to my MS for 7 months and headache throughout.... hahaha I scare of MS than labour.

bear, yah my dogs seems to know I am preg cos he also stick with me all the time and follow me everywhere. Just that my mum will try to distract him away. Dont know why they have the smell. My dogs shower twice a week.

mine is 1hr later than ur's.. i still remember at 35 weeks i 1cm dilate i so gan jiong then 37 weeks 3cm dilate and i lost 1kg so gynae ask me to admit asap after my check up

Milderina, some say cannot eat bean curd coz of the ingredient they use to harden the tofu & another ingredient tat r too cooling for preggie. I dunno how true lah but I have been avoiding since preggie.

JJmom, my dog very manja one.. stick to ppl a lot.. but when i m around he sticks to me. that's why i feel that they can smell that u are preggie... heehee... but now i can't tahan his smell so whenever he leopard crawl towards me i will push him away.

Val, shower so many times,fur won't be dry meh? it takes us 30mins with a fan and a hairdryer to blow dry my doggie's coat!

e coffeeshop at purvis st is called YY Kafei Dian. Nice hainanese buns! i was also sniffing medicated oil last week as it was quite comforting to smell is esp in e aftn when i get mild nausea.

lunch menu today: char siew and roast pork rice. => quite a satisfying meal. been feeling thirsty all day boy. couldnt stand it so went to buy package of orange juice. feels sooooo good...^.^

Hui I dilute 1cm on 36wk, then 37 wk dilute 3cm liao, got check up contraction very high dilute 3cm, I got no feeling at all no pain, gynae say my pain tolerate level real high. Immeidately warded me dont allow me to go home & clean up..heehee..my delivery no pain at all. but confinement is killing me..hahaha

Spicy food =boy har ,heehee,then need to spend $$$ liao.

medicated oil can apply on head blah, better not 0n nose & tummy.

bear, oh wont la can use conditioner for them also. My dogs fur not very thick so its easy to manage. I have a yorkie and 2 of his pups but mix so not pure. 1 of them only 2.5kg and they are like 7 yrs liao. Yorkie already 10 yrs but still very active....

my gynae ask me admit now but i told him i wan go hair saloon wash hair coz confinement cannot wash hair. i also dun feel any pain till he break my waterbag then i feel pain but use laughing gas nia..i hate confinement also

my first labour was 5hrs. i delivered at 39wks 2 days. had contraction pains till abt 7 min interval then got ready to go hospital. I was so surprised leh coz i dun exercise at all kind. hence, i felt that perhaps i really brought my dog for super long walks whenever i can during 35 weeks onwards... without my doggie, i doubt i had the motivation to walk so far...

what fish old is that? how come burp got smell one? my gynae gave DHA tablet, not fish oil.. so is still ok....

suggest u check with ur gynae abt prawn noodles if ur hb is concerned? honestly, we should be able to eat anything...except medication we had to be careful.

ur doggie also very sweet leh... during my first preg, i nvr got the feeling my dog understood or felt what is pregnant. maybe i spayed him when he was very young thats why? heehee... now hor, he doesn't like my bb although my bb is together with him 5 times a week for the whole day. thiunk he is still jealous. but off course, he doesn't attack her, he just totally avoid her

haha.. then u muz thanks ur dog.. my hubby bring me walk farm..see see look look.. contraction is realli pain but i ren lor coz i told myself no epi as i heard that epi got side effect next time ur backbone will pain and for my case i sprin my back very badly when i was young.. now the bone "stack" on my vein.. sometimes can pain till my half body cant move..got one time hospitalized coz very pain and doc try to inject pain killer for me but the needle cant go in coz i pain till muscle harden liao..so i told myself no epi for me..

BTW certain fish we shld avoid. like tuna fish, salmon fish & "jing qiang yu" -> duno wat's tat . anyone know? i heard these fish contain mercury which is not gd for bb.

poor thing...ur back sprain sounded bad, no wonder u refused epi.... for the next one, u have to walk alot again liao... can ask u, did u feel the pain when gynae was stitching u? i was very scared of that part u know. although i was on epi worried i may still feel pain. i tried to distract myself by looking at my newborn baby instead of looking at what is gynae doing next.. luckily no feeling at all...

yes, i think those super big fishes shd reduce the intake due to mercury content. For me i avoided tuna. did eat some salmon, cod fish and threadfin though...

no leh...lunch was boring coz i had wu xiang for lunch yday only at amoy mkt... then today again...yucks... wow, sandwich huh.... me not a sandwich person leh... so dunno where to recommend u... i dunno what i want to eat for dinner yet.... maybe fried rice....

btw, tmr wat time is ur appt with dr chan? let me know how long is the wait hor.. i hv nvr visited him on saturdays before. normally i go at abt 4.30pm or 5pm appt on weekdays so that after that, me &amp; hb no need to go back office. but even weekdays, there were times i waited for 2 hours! can faint... soemtimes, ling will call me juz before i am abt to leave office to come 30 mins later etc coz still many people....

Fish..those deep sea fish try not to take due to mercury content. 1 good example is sharkfin..hahaha, so yummy right?

half boil egg &amp; those with yolk not cook, organ especially liver should also avoid due to the bacterial in it.

for me, when i was admitted, dilation only abt 2cm leh... but once gynae arrived abt 2 hrs later to break my waterbag...warrao...from there, i think within 1 hour i was told fully dilated and to start pushing by the midwives... but the disadvantage of epi is that after that hor, no feeling so dunno how to control bladder so dunno how to urinate... pathetic..

ok here come my story... my #1 got abit of complication when i was in 3rd tri.... so i have to induce labour even though my cervix is not even soft... becoz of complication gynea dare not put too much pressie into my cervix... scare my gal cannot take it.... so each time he put pressie.. only 1/2... I'll need to be trap on the CTG machine to monitor my gal.... the whole induction process took about 27 hours.... i check in hospital on 22 dec 7am... only gave birth to my gal on 23 dec morning... cannot go out... must stay in the hospital... actually I'm quite glad of the whole process.. i did not take any epi... I'm only on laughing gas n injection on thigh... i was so scare at 1st it will end up as emergency C....

wedding shd be ok if u not pantang type. I attended a wedding during my last preg in 1st trimester. However, during 1st trimester, i avoided baby full month. I visited my fren's baby only after the full month party. But once after 1st trimester, i attend anything (except funerals)....
