Hi to all MTB,
I'm oso a Nov 08 MTB and has n hasn't been logging since the thread started long time ago. See a lot of frustrations her abt hb being not panicking. Dun worry, its just them. Some how fatherhood wld change them. I'm already a mother of 2, so i can see the transformation of my hb. As wives, we must also try our best b4 we launch into this i can't, that i cannot....
Really being a new mother is not easy, but having a new baby is not cheap either. Hb have the baby at heart to make such calculation b4 they make statements like this.
I am a garang mother and went thru both pregnancies with no CL. with the right support from hb, somtetimes its a blessing than any thing else. N really taking care of your own baby is the natural process to lose weight.
I bet u mummies must have heard so much horror stories abt CL giving more headaches than anything else. So if really can't get a suitable, pls do not 'anyhow' confirm one just to make oneself feel better.
This thread is for MTB to share n vent.. really when the time comes.. pls come here often. i am sure there is many mothers out there who r willing to share n help. I, for sure will be willing to give u some advise.
Pls do not push ur hb further. They r not like us, having a big tummy which we can show our discomfort n vent n share abt our fears. They r men. At most they can ask some colleagues who r fathers to check what they do in preparations. They can't share such things wif their beer buddies. N as wives, if we still dun have a tot for them, i think they r quite poor thing.
Ok, ok.. mummies dun blast me!!!
Kaya,
dun get a breast pump now. It is only useful if u are separated from ur baby at birth due to some unforeseen circumstances (touch wood) Otherwise, u shld do let ur baby latch on directly in the 1st few mths when u r on maternity. Even if u need to pump in the 1st few weeks days, u can rent the pump from the hospital or use the one in the wards.
Coming from a mother who have succesfully breasfeed from both my kids til 1 and 2yr.. I still have to say.. breastfeeding is not easy. Do not feel bad if u feel there is a need to give up breastfeeding. Its the bond n the enjoyment u have wif your baby that is more impt.
