Hi Spin, comfort more impt lar, if the office pple know then let them know lar...hee...my church pple also know that I am pregnant le. Dont know who have been telling them, I was shocked when so many of them congratulated me yesterday. To me, its a joy, so I am not afraid to share. ^^
 
Carol - well , i still can wear my clothes juz tt u can see tummy popin out . hee.. well... i wouldnt mind to share my joy with my closed ones but nt my ofice ppl.

is it true tat hip/buttock will become bigger when preggie? goodness tat mean i wont be able to wear back my bottoms? tis part of the body is the most difficult to lost fats de!

and i will only be 10 weeks tmr! *sob sob* and yes i am also 2nd time mummy... i can't wear most of my bottoms already. i started wearing some of my old maternity bottoms from 9mois.

i was able to wear back all my pre-preg clothes by the time i went back to work from maternity leave. I did not went on a diet as well. Guess u will just loose all the extras put on naturally.... dun worry

Alibaba- cos our pelvic bones expand to cater our bbs. So unavoidable. dun worry... we can take time to lose the extra pounds after we give birth. infact i hvent shed off my 2kg extra pounds leh.. then nw i preg. hee

I think breastfeeding helps a little in losing weight but I think the lack of sleep aids in losing more !! kekeke it's true loh, I never know life was gonna be so tough after delivery. Baby cried for milk every 1.5hrs for milk and poo poo throughout day & night. Imagine just fed baby and changed diaper and about to zz, baby cried again for milk.... then somemore, have to keep expressing milk and sterilising bottles & funnels, blah blah .... how not to lose weight??!! kekeke
 
yah my fren jus gave birth and she say the confinement period is worst than labour. No wonder people get post natal depression..

Btw a piece of info from studies, if u're 1.5m & below - v likely cannot natural, hav to C-sec.. but gues it won't affect any of u, I'm one of the extinct creature
 
Peanut, i have cousins who r abt 1.5m & give birth naturally lei.

Last time, women also mostly vy short (like my grandaunties) but still give birth naturally bah?

Sumei, yes, breastfeeding definetely will help in losing weight. I am on total breastfeeding for 8 mths and i lose to my pre-pregnancy weight, but after i stop, i gain bk abt 1-2 kg

Carol, how was the material from imaternity? thinking of buying from there.

Lala, u was perfectly right. Is the lack of sleep aids in losing more weight. I have to nurse my newborn last time every 2 hours, after feed him already, have to change diapers cos he poo after EVERY feed (cos breastmilk). so after change him, i only get to sleep for another 1 hour and is time to wake up for feeding again! So exhausted right? LOL

1.5m below cannot give birth naturally? why ah? this is the first time i heard of it.

Breastfeeding is really tough.. i heard of a lot of horror stories.. bb can't latch, keep on crying. i guess even if feed expressed milk also better than nothing.
 
dunoe wor.. i read from internet one.. Mayb ur cousins and grandaunties are 1.51m tsk tsk.. just slightly above the mark.

Aiyah as long as the BB comes out kicking and healthy who cares hor..
 
i tink if any of u engage confinement lady it should be stil quite ok. at least at night jus need to wake up express milk nia. My fren's fed the BB during the night so she can rest a bit.

do you al sometimes feel a bit of dull aching pain at the side of lower ab? It jus comes and goes.. I hope its not becos of my facial last night.. Had already asked her to use the mildest product and no machine stuff
 
JJmom, some ppl tell me having backaches mean something is wrong. they said not gd to have backaches. but i had the aches since last yr. some even say it is a symptom of miscarriage!!!

Hui, ur vinegar post makes me wanna eat lor mee with lots of vinegar!

Peanut, ya i have the dull ache sometimes.. some ppl say its ur womb stretching.. no blood means gd news!
 
Bear, don't scare me leh...I thou backaches r vy common in preggie? Anyway, like what u say, no spotting, don't over worries ourselve bah.

I will check with my gynae on the next appt, c what he say then update here again.
 
u gals v super lei.. i cant bring myself to take those strong tasted food liao , esp the oily stuff.. My manager jus gave me a pack of super oily zhui kuay (the brown wrapper majiam dripping with oil) i see already feel like puking
 
Oops JJmom, i dun mean to scare u.. that time i was spotting, i had backache too.. told the gynae and she said that isn't a gd sign.. i guess as long as there is no blood shd be ok.. we scaring ourselves. :p

ANyway mine is backache not back pain.. think got difference. :p seeing my gynae tmr.. hope everything would be ok.

Hui, aft every savoury meal i need something sweet to eat!

JJmom, dun worry 1st.. me also aching whole body now, neck aching shoulder aching head aching mood aching. Was glad when my beautician say light massage on neck & shoulder is fine and she did for me last night- better than nottin..

You will never know, I thought I can't breastfeed for at least 6 months coz back then got engorgement + baby doesn't latch, so have to keep expressing ... still, the love of a mother makes me feed my baby for 6.5 months. Not very long but at least endure till more than 6 months.

Exactly, my baby poo-ed every 1.5hrs cos breastmilk too ... so "siong", my hubby lost 4 kgs within a month ... hahaha We cannot imagine how we pulled thru those days .... and gonna go through again ...

Lala, ya lor, those days are like memory now, but will have to repeat again soon. Ur hubby still manage to lost 4kg, think my hubby gain more weight! LOL

dont worry so much. I have previously injured my back before, thus will also have quite frequent backache. If there is no spotting / tummy ache, I guess should be fine bah. Sometimes its cause our sleeping posture not correct, so will end up in back ache.

hi All, I'm a 2nd time mummy with a 13mths old boy, EDD early December 2008 but I don't think I will carry till full term so most prob shd be November coz my first preg also early by 2-3 weeks. Hope to know more mummies here...

Peanut, yah I also really feel like having a massage but heard not vy safe. So I get DH to stroke my back for me, at least better than nothing loh.

I used to love to twist my waist to relax my back but now don't dare to do it. Sometime, the back really vy suan lei, mayb ask gynae c can do it anot =P
 
Had sliced fish mee sua & papaya for lunch, both not vy ideal for preggie but cannot resist lei =P

2nd time mummies, ok.. so i am not FAT lah.. haha! self consolation... i can still wear my normal clothes just that my tummy will be bulging a bit lor.. so ugly.. pple sure think i am just FAT!

yes, i hate confinement esp all those unnecessary visits from relatives and friends! ditto for my hospital stay. i mean hosp stay and confinement are supposed to be rest time for the mummy isnt it, why do pple come visit u at these time!!??? then cannot rest well and must entertain those pple... sianz...
 
eat moderately lor.. heard papaya &amp; carrot coloring will cause jaurdice to bb.
i haven eating all type of fruits recently. grapes, strawberry, apple, pear, banana, orange except coconut, pineapple &amp; water melon...

Any 2nd time mummies here-first preg c-sect, now the 2nd time will u opt for c-sect again or trying for VBAC?? my first preg c-sect due to low placenta, thus for this 2nd one most prob c-sect again coz HB scared rupture on my wound.
