Gd morning mummies!
Now me usin iphone to type. So lazy to use my comp already.

Chilipadi, hope emma will haf a speedy recovery. So unexpected.

Lian, seriously ar, im already on leave so i nvr kp track on wats happening already. Haha. Terrible right! I will watch news to get the latest news. So far nothing abt maid leh. Then my dad is out of town and he's the one who always get newspapers. Hehe! The last few days before i go on leave i will rush like crazy woman. Everyday story abt oil spill. Rush here and there. Can even run wit this big tummy. So now get to rest at hm. Shiok2. Just dat waitin game to pop. Everyday feel bh contractions. Last nite very painful till wanna cry oso haf. Haiz.

Olwen, wat u say is true abt thr age gap. But i do hope my gal can teach her bro gd stuffs. B a gd sister. Now at this age they are so playful. She juz bit me yest and i cried in pain then i slapped her thigh but she juz kp quiet cos she saw i was cryin. Too active sumtimes.

Jus wanted some advice, do u think its ness to get another stroller for my #2? My stroller can attach a stand for the toddler, but i'm caught inbetween like if i needa bring both kids out and they wanna slp -.-
Plus the additional cost for the stand is $169 - good enuff to buy another stroller.
Any suggestions or advise?

But i vote to postpone. i feel its easier to contain the kids when they're in a house instead of outdoor.. in e end they'll b running around and all scattered around.. and since i'm alone with her i forsee i'll b running aft her as well... tired... zzzz

actually Q is having mild running nose and cough, also contemplating whether to attend our gathering tomorrow.. Q is still active and noisy thou, juz the thought of possibility of spreading to the rest .. not so nice..

I vote to postpone! Going to interview my first potential maid this weekend! Wish me luck k!

stroller for #2
for my case, I will get a toddler's stroller (light-weight) one in case we need to go out with both kids.. #2 will take over Q's stroller..

That time when I had my 2 older gals, I changed from a single stroller to a twin stroller instead. Those type that onw child sit in front and another sit behind. I bot a 2nd hand tat time for about $120 only. You may wanna consider this. Good thing is both sit together and thus it's easier when I need to bring them out. Downside is that the stroller is rather heavy.

Lian, no choice cos i was working till last sun non stop. No time to go shopping for the little one.Me giving birth nxt wk liao. Hehe. My hub got his flu from my gal. My gal got from my mum so it is spreading. I saw minister khaw fb(er yah i got his fb) sayin the common flu is spreading ard and ask to take flu vaccine. My hub doc oso ask him whther wanna take vaccine or not.

Kiki, thx! Am takin a rest but this wkend my last wkend befre i pop so thinking whether wanna go down to motherhood fair at expp to grab pampers sale. Backside itchy but hub not keen. He say can juz get from elsewhere. But sale leh. Plus kiddy palace sale so irrisistable. Aiyoh....

Dymples, sigh. Yah wat to do. Everyday like dat. Then i was also pissed cos a lot of first stories given to me like dat oil spill stories where i got like only 10mins to do. I will try not to panic. My motto is, if can make it on air, make it lor..if not i wun die. Hehe. Cos if i kp stressin myself oso no point. My boss so happy wit me cos even though i preg i work very fast. Sigh
 
Lian, now i got a very gd maid finally! After 5 maids! In 2 years. Sigh. Kena letter from mom sumore sayin i got 4 maids in a yr but reallo bo pian. I nd a maid whom i can rely on. This one i got tru diff agency and word of mouth. Shes very experienced with kids and very patient. Cooks like a pro but we dun overwork her too. This time i drew up a
schedule and rules and regulations. My dad scolded me for doin tt but funnily my maid thank me cos she said its's easier. Kiki u may want to do tt. If u want a sample, go to singaporemaids.blogspot.com. I follow example there and change the words to suit my family schedule so my maid will know wat to do and wat we expect from her. I nvr once scold this maid cos i already haf schedule for her so less tok less scolding. Hehe. So i dun haf to send my gal to cc already. My mum concentrate on my gal. Anyway nxt yr oso she goin pg too. I concentrate on my boy.

maid: too early to say good la.. haa.. i have a maid good for 1st few months, den slowly all patterns come out after 6mths.. hehe.. hopefully ur current one is really a good maid..

I guess a good way is to ignore your hubby. If he 'barks' at you, pretend not to hear rather than to start a quarrel with him. Soon he will tone down if he realised you are not responding to him. Perhaps he is stress at work too. If there is help, leave the gals to your helpers and have a few hours of couple time.

I definitely like your way of being a fair mum to your kids. You know our playdate actually comes a lesson for me that being older, it does not necessary mean having to give in to the younger at all time. It more of being fair to the kids.

Jia you. You are reaching the finishing line soon... You really prove others wrong that being preggy can also work well with speed too.
Congrats on getting a good maid. It is as good as striking toto. I've heard of too much horror stories to pluck up any courage to engage 1 yet.


Re: Age gap in kids
I think it depend on individual as well as the planning and help from the families.
Personally I like kids with closer age gap cos they can be close to one another. #1 &amp; #2 only diff by 15 months. I guess it would be common for sibling to fight and argue as part of childhood. They can quarrel but at the end of the day still be loving and forgiving toward each other.

Now she attending LNT at Toa Payoh central with my gf's gal so after lesson we stil get to hang around ther for lunch and some shopping.. Sianz.. zoophonic at thomson ther nothing one.. wan to hav lunch hav to travel down a bit to thomson plaza./. Hows serangoon central like? Nex time e big shopping mall open wil it b near to your zoophonic? Then after lesson can go ther shop.. shiok lei

All the best to Emma-Jane. Hope its not HFMD. Alyssa was also suspected HFMD on Tues. She had some suspicious rashes &amp; was not eating well. The PD saw 4 white spots at the back of her throat which she says might be ulcers forming. However, the rashes started clearing on Wed instead of bloating/erupting/worsening, no signs of any ulcers that we can see &amp; she started eating as per normal again. As of this morning, the rashes are all gone. So its a false alarm for Alyssa.

Wow! you really showed your boss that you are one capable mommy! Good on you. Last time when I preggie, my boss also scared for me. But I was bounching all over the hotel, work late till 10-11 pm like nobody's biz, somemore gotta do hotel inspection over 3.2 hectares wor. Super lots of walking till I got placenta previa at the later stage and gotta tone down. Hahahah... till now my that boss likes my working style and is always ready to be my working reference.

it's very nice for u to be ard Tamp mart..i wished i cld be there too..coz u can have alot of enrichment classes for the kids..at least as they grow older &amp; need to run errand with no one to look aft them, can still "park" them at enrichment classes &amp; quickly go run errand then go back pick up the kid..so u tried out ZooPhonics &amp; The Learning Curve at Tamp Mart?sorry i think i missed out whc one u bring her over on sat..hehe..

long time didn't log in n chat wif u mummies...
Recently, just started my new job and was pretty busy...Jalen went into CC 1 wk before i go bk to workforce...starting he likes to go to sch didn't cry or cranky...the tchs like him alot keep saying he's very gd boy n cute..lol~
But recedntly he started to get cranky whenever he reached the CC and getting even more notti and abit abit cry dunno isit learn fm others kids at the CC or nt. Haiz...headache...
After sending him to CC n bk to work force, i really miss him...miss the days at hm wif him..bring him out play wif others kids...
no choice lo..got to give him a better life need to work.

Dun stress over bb #2. When the time is right, baby will come along. The more u stress over it the harder it gets cos your body cannot relax. Let nature takes its course. Even when #1 reach 3-yrs, the age gap will still be ok.

Wow! Lucky for you that Jalen adapts so fast and well to CC. Yah. Tink he learns those things from other classmates. My J3 just started half day CC and till today, 5th day already still cry. Dun want to go inside the CC. Once inside will run to door, cry and scream to go home. See already sssooo heart pain. Haiz...

For J3, she will stay in the water from about half hour to max of 1-hour. I will look at the skin on her fingers and toes and gauge from there. Will take her out once the skin all turn wrinkled or when she starts shivering.

yawnz... tiring Sun.. out with her almost whole day.. Went ikea in the morning then followed by my mum's place, then met Ali and her T for dinner in the evening.. 9.30pm then take cab home with my rascal.. Cun even sit still in the taxi hav to move around al e time. By e time reach home i feel like my bones going to break anytime liao..

Childcare:
Kind of envy actually.. I stil can't imagine putting my gal in child care cos her separation anxiety is stillllllll sooooooo serious...!! Can't even get out of her sight for few secs.. sigh.. i also wonder how lei....

Glad to hear that things are going well for you. For Jalen, it could be a passing phase. Perhaps he saw other kids bawling and try to learn from them. I read that before you put him to bed at night, tell him something abt school. Ask him abt his friends/toys he played in school. Tell him he will continue to go school tml, it is a way to prepare him.

haha.. u stil hav maid with u yest.. me jaga her alone then hav to push/carry tt toy pram somemore hahaha..... Then in e cab she jus cun sit stil and got really mang zhang, this cannot tt also cannot.. Reached home after settling down she also slept around 10.30pm..

wat if.. she cried for whole day in e centre... and everyday like that??!!??! Wait all teachers dun like her wor.. hahaha......

Diapers:
aiyor... can one recommend a good diaper for overnight? She has been using mammypoko L size all these while but lately by morning her pyjamas will b really wet by heavy pee! which one is good for overnight?

Yah... now I ignore him whenever he 'barks' at me. Then he asked me why never answer. I told him:" If you dun know how to speak properly, I will not answer. Dun anyhow start to 'bark' at me when I din do anything wrong." Wah... really frustrated siah.

Initially I will send J3 in together with my dad. Then last Friday and today he is send her in alone. Today my dad bring her in, she cried from 0830hrs till 1030hrs. She cry till almost vomit and once see my dad scream louder. Then cling to him like koala bear. So he brought her home again. Aiyohz... What can I do?? My 2 older gals were not like that leh. Worse still, my dad is travelling out of town end of June and I'm already taking 4-days leave during that period. So now I dun have anymore leave to take to ease her into CC. *aarrgghh*

At the rate J3 is going, I dun even know if can continue the CC arrangement. *fed-up* Really dunno what to do anymore. If I continue let my dad take care, got family politics. If I continue insists putting her into CC, my dad will be fed-up with me. Aiyohz...

For diapers, J3 also uses Mamypoko. But to avoid super heavy pee-pee, we always change her diaper once before we sleep at 11-pm. Then again when she wakes for milk-milk at about 5.30am.

wont la! nini so cute mah.. ok la. i believe there is other tod that is worst than her. some kids take sometime to settle down.. my colleague one take 1 whole month... next time we go to the water park again.. T like it so much. haa..

so far i find mummypoko still the best leh for overnight use.... nowadays nini got heavy flow ah.. hehe..

normally we change her last diaper at ~9pm before getting ready her sleep.. dun change while she's sleeping wor cos afriad disturb her liao she woke up and dun wan sleep again!!
