no probs. hope it helps for your boys too! if not, go buy some sea salt. it's like some kinda spa for them you know, so funny when i was soaking sean's butt, the water becomes "softer" when there's sea salt in it, if you understand what i mean.

According to PD, it's the minerals in the salt that helps, i think could be same reason as why pple say put salt on ulcers, etc, tho it's like ouch! but in this case it's not too stinging coz mixed with water.

Anyone went for the Fisherprice Warehouse Sales @ Lok Yang? Just went to grab some toys for my little boy, alot of people and the warehouse is like those carpark sales. Very warm under the sun, very cramp too....

Hmm...not as many as I expected...but still some good offer, like (eg): Jumperoo selling at $180, Fisherprice high chair at $180 too....some educational toys at $30-$60..saw the elmo toys, dora and barbie dolls too...

I got myself a set of those education play set (like little study desk where there are shapes for playing) at $40 and i saw the Metro price tag selling at $79.90...can drop by BUT PLEASE don't bring your little one there...it is too HOT HOT HOT for them.. saw a few mummies and daddies bringing their little one there, sweating all the way! It is really chaotic..perhaps today is the very first day of sales.

yes. Nicodemus is actually attempting to walk. Thus, he's also having bumps here and there coz lost balance and bump.

Guess, he's just like my girl. My #1 is able to walk independently at 11mths old.

It may be best to start with Baby Yoplait first as it's gentler on baby's tummy.
But I believe that one mommy mentioned giving her son Paul's natural yogurt and he was ok with it, so it all depends on the baby.

Anyway it's done so don't worry about it, just keep an eye on Kaleb is all

Not really sure abt giving bb yoplait yoghurt..as they had a recall case just last year..
here's the news report on the incident.
The National Foods Limited in Australia has announced an immediate recall of its Yoplait yoghurt products because of possible metal contamination. These are Baby Yoplait and Yoplait Elivaé Yoghurt....

I agree with calamari. Its indicated on the article that the recall is only a precautionary measure. It was <font color="ff0000">not</font> proven that the yogurt was contaminated.

hehe... Coz i bought the rainforest highchair and the laugh n learn activity table. I also bought more teethers for zhiyan. So that when i bring her out i can bring a bag of teethers and if she drops them i dun have to keep going to the bathroom to wash them... lazy mummy... Agree that the toys were all dirty and some boxes were torn n tattered... all the stuff i brought home were all scrubbed and sanitised before i let zhiyan have them...

Some good buys are probably the potty and the booster seat. Both going at $50. But i guess most of the mummies here would have bought their highchair or booster seat already...

Terrible day today, my bro driving my hubby's car to send me and Kaleb to Parkway got involved in accident. A Latio making an illegal u-turn hit us and Kaleb hit onto something and have a bump on his head....me with a bruise on knee cap...he was shaken and kept crying till he doze off. Ambulance officer told me he shld be fine but i still bring him to KK for a check...was told to monitor him for any symptoms. Luckily no one was injured....hubby car badly dented liao but luckily can fully claim the other party..heard tat Latio cannot repair already, can u gal imagine the impact....haiz....wat a bad day.
Really hope Kaleb will be fine...

Hi,

Wonder if anyone having the same problem as me when trying to feed semi solids... my gal does not seem to like semi solids. When I try and feed her cereal or other stuff like banana, sweet potato etc, she does not like and refuse to eat. After a while, she will get very upset and start to cry, so no choice but to stop. Sigh...very stress everytime when it comes to feeding time nowadays, miss the time when she just drank milk. She is 7.5 mths, from what you ladies have shared, she shld be taking quite a bit of semi solids by now. Funny thing is that she likes to drink water. When I feed her water while feeding her cereal, she is very happy to drink the water, but when I give her the cereal, she gets upset again. I hv to resort to adding a bit of cereal to her milk each time to try and increase her intake of cereal.....

How awful! I'm sure Kaleb will be alright, it was just a nasty shock for him is all. Kiss the bump for me.
Baby should always be in a car seat as the harness keeps them secure, preventing them from being flung forward in the event of a collision.
I see a lot of parents carrying babies and children in their arms in the car, it's an unnecessary risk.

I'm worried about appearing on the front page of the ST too.. especially with the way she's really been boiling my blood.
Since the incident regarding Ethan's safety, hubby is keeping a close eye on me and takes over when he sees that I've had enough.
I'm thankful that he's very participative and gets involved in all affairs.

I should have gotten rid of her sooner but for some reason that feels crazy now, I believed in her and thought that she would learn and change. She gets whatever we tell her but can't seem to stick to it.

Oh well, moving on!

Oh dear, it's never good to get involved in an accident with the baby in the car. I'm also guilty of carrying my son for short 5 min car trips. Don't worry too much if Kaleb is behaving normally now. Normally the first 24hrs is most crucial.

Talking about accidents, just 2 days ago, I saw a very bad accident at TPY. TWO cars crossing a junction hit another car who was waiting for the traffic on the opposite end. I don't know how these drivers managed to drive into the oncoming car.

my ger only happily took semi-solid around 3rd week aft turning 7 months old. had to intro all kinds of stuff. she didnt like cereal for the start. so i gave her fruit.good days, 1/2 oz or more. bad days, just a few teaspoons or none (all spat out). then move on to root veg. same reaction wif fruit. as i met other SAHM often, i would "steal" other bb's food and let my ger try. if she took them i would make it for me. interestingly, she likes nestle stage 2 cereal. then let her tried mixed veg puree wif a lil unsalted butter, she finished them. since then i kinda sticked to these few stuff and she grew to eat more. so dun lose heart yet. your ger will soon take semi-solid

at least ur ger likes water, important for hydration!
