Simp, i think apples once pureed are sour. Not sure why also. Juices also.
Mangoes will also be slightly sour. Perhaps it's just those i bought. Hee. But quite a few times already.
The other non-sour fruits will be avocado (summer's fav), peach , papaya n bananas.
Btw, bananas cannot be frozen, has to be eaten immediately.
While freezing the fruits do preserve it for at least a week, some nutrients are lost too. So i try not to freeze it. If you do not want to freeze it, they can stay in e fridge for 2 days, just like BM.
To counter the sourness, i mix them into the cereal. So it gives the plain cereal a boost in taste, making it more yummy for her and yet she gets e nutrients. Coz if i were to give it like that she will reject, too sour, i think.
I gave sweet potatoes, pumpkins, carrots, and potatoes. According to my mom cant give sweet potatoes too often. Others i think it's ok. She has sweet potatoes once a week. I also give broccoli onto of these root veg. But e smell is super strong i mix carrots with broccoli, she enjoys it alot.
Btw, any mommies tried porridge? we need to blend e porridge after it's cooked? Can we use brown rice to cook e porridge? Anyone started on fishes? Cook with porridge then blend altogether?
Simp, i got some storage cubes from howards storage. Much bigger than 2oz, cant remb e exact size but i find it more suitable for Summer's intake.
