Morning mummies !!

<font color="ff0000">I need help. My pump broke down half way while expressing. Now cannnot pump out in the night.

Any mummies have a spare pump , in working condition to spare? Most prob mid sept when the servicing is done, I can return. Thanks !!</font>

get white rice vinegar
pour into sterilizer 1 purple cup (the one that comes with sterilizer) of half vinegar, half water
sterilize one round. do not be alarmed at the vinegar smell LOL
when done, wipe dry
sterilize another round with water as per normal
wipe dry
all clean!

to prevent it from rusting too badly again, u could wipe dry the inside every night. better to keep the sterilizer clean because the rust particles coat the bottles during sterilizing


jasmine chen's suggestion of lemon would work too.

How often do you change bottle teats?
Ethan's teats are only 2 months old at best and right after washing, they're squeaky clean. But if left in the steriliser for awhile, they become oily again. Has anyone else experienced this?
Is it time to change teats or is my maid simply doing a shoddy job? :s

Is anyone using Pigeon L teats?
We're using Y teats now, wondering when to start on L and if there is any major difference other than for it being non-leak proof.

i'm using avent teat size 3 so cant comment on your pigeon ones. usually i will wash the bottles &amp; teats with bottle liquid cleanser 1st then sterilise so its not oily.

That's exactly what we do at my house; wash with cleaner but leave it in the steriliser cuz I steam 3 bottles at a time.
Don't tell me I have to sterilise 1 at a time now? Oh dear.

any mummies know the diff between flow rates between Pigeon's M and Y teats? both state for the same age range leh.

i'm using M teats now but PD suggest that i can try the Y teats cos of my girl's drinking problems. dunno if the flow will be too fast and she'll choke? very afraid to try cos if she chokes and becomes wide awake she'll reject the milk again

previously using Avent teats, from no.2 i try changing to no.3 she choked..
