Ladies,
Want to ask your opinions on something... Anyone know or any seamstress that is willing to sew bedding set like the fitted bedsheet, pillow case and bloster case? I saw a lot of nice cloth at spotlight, dunno if anyone willing to sew into bedding set and dunno if its cheaper that way also...

Just came back from consultation with the diabetes specialist. Doctor said I have to do another 3 days of self-prick tests, 4 times a day, over the next week as my previous results were not satisfactory
Argh, got to really control my diet, esp during lunch. Everything also cannot eat...!!!

I have a feeling it depends on which seamstress you get , and compared to what quality of ready-made bedding set. Babymallonline bedding set prices are hard to beat. As for seamstress... if you know of any ladies/aunties who are willing to do simple sewing work for money, or HDB seamstress/tailor shop, that would be good enough. Not much tailoring skills needed, just need a fringing machine and accurate measurements. Oh and, avoid CNY peak period hehe.

it's good o have the maternity pad as the first few days blood flow is usually quite high. After tt can use normal pads.
The Kotex brand has the stick on. Used tt the last round too.
Is pureen maternity pad gd? where cn we find it? NTUC dun hv as far as i know.

jamie: u mean the kotex stick on kind? i saw it 10s for $6+. din get it coz IMO pureen one more worth it... 20s for $7+...

u can pack and leave it in the trunk of the car. If not, just pack it in ur store room. Abt (34wks) get it rdy shd be gd enough.

anyone have the list of wat to pack for hospital bag? guess i have everything ready for my bag except night gowns for BF. where can i get nice & comfy ones?

they are selling 2 type of cotton...one is 100% cotton and another is a mixture of cotton and some other material...i got myself the 100% cotton one...

cheesycake: not all CK have the cotton type...i tried tampines CK and they only have the batik type(front zip type--dun hav the button type)...
as for the CK bedok...they only left a few pcs...not sure if they gonna get new stocks in or not...cos me also thinking to get a few more pcs this wkend...

I haven't packed my hospital bag but got this list send from a fellow MTB..... think you need to bring along yours and your husband IC, and original Marriage Cert to register your baby's birth at the hospital.
And yes need to pack pads as I think the hospital provides but they charge too, and its very expensive.

me just seen my gynae today. Baby is growing well and thank God, am not overweight liao... I put on 200g from last check up. So happy wor. Hope I can keep up the gd work and not put on too much during CNY... Kekeke!

BTW, my baby's head has not gone down yet. Anyway, still early and am doing c-section. So its fine.. gynae say most likely can deliver from 17th April but I prob will choose 20 April.

hi ladies, think my baby is quite heavy as compared to most of yours. I m suffering fr v bad backache and ,my gyna gave me vit B, hopefully the pain ll b reduced or gone! My baby boyis ard 1.4+kg at 29 wks.

Just back from my gynae visit too.... Am at 29 weeks and my baby boy is at 1.45kg. So i think that is normal weight, blessed.
Also tried for the 4D scan today but baby very shy refused to cooperate.... Tried twice but both times he is covering his face...so am gonna try on Valentine's day again. Haiz!

Cheong Choon is selling for $7.00 per pack for pureen Madame (20pcs)
I just bought a pack to try out. Cos the pad looks kinda long.. Though can absorb more, but scared that might feel uncomfortable. After finishing the maternity pads, will switch to normal ones when its not so heavy.

i bought the kotex maternity pad...2packs n also the sofy nite ones coz my fren told me 1pack not enuff leh...just in case lah kiasu abit
