hehe, i dun mind looking after kyzac full time if i can still get the same salary :p

actually i find kyzac quite okay in our own place, he will sleep at 10pm usually until 7am next day. he dun really cries too as long as we let him crawl on the floor

it is just tat in my parents's place tat he goes haywire. Very cranky & he will only sleep after midnite. Not so good baby friendly fengshui bah

Babypink, wa then he's a much better boy than mine. So ur mum shouldnt b complaining too much. Mine same likes to crawl abt. Prob is likes to crawl to prohibited areas like kitchen, toilet. When I try to stop him, he wil b unhappy. Start makg noise. He aso aso makes noise when he's bored of his toys. Wana get out of the hse.

when i leave ryan in playyard alone while i go toilet, he'll be covered in nose mucus n tears when i return.. imagine the amt of cries to create enuff dripping mucus.

I have the same feeling as you.. But the kind of satisfaction coming from taking care of ur baby is much more than getting praises from ur boss... If hubby can afford, I will have chose to be a SAHM..

I wouldn't feel good if this is what my mum or whoever say.. Why compare a human being with a dog??? Sometimes I wonder why some ppl will make such comment.. I find it hurtful...
 
Now I am starting to feel effects of the epidural + bad posture. Off and on I will have bad aches but not very uncomfortable.

Ytd morning, I woke up to sharp aching pain on my lower back and I can't move my legs. Later, I got out of bed but cannot walk properly ie legs alternate btw numb feeling and pins and needles.

I went to Chinese Massage therapist to "adjust" the "nerves and bones". Its so damn painful and I still have to go back cos my acupoints are all "blocked". The feeling of not feeling the legs is more scary than the pain of the massage. :p

Now walk like an old woman due to the pain... I am wondering if all points to epidural fault...

Phoebe also throw scary tantrum when I put her in playpen. Scary how they can make their displeasure so known. I wonder when their "tantrums" will get better. Lol.

Simp:
Prevenar (Pneuccocal) jab will cause crankiness, slight fever. Aft Phoebe took it she's like very upset and uncomfortable. :p There will be a "bruise" wound for abt 1 week.

actually when i shared with my hb last evening wat mum said, his immediate reaction is to laugh ;)
my mum is a very straight talking ( which can offend people quite easily) kind of person & i have unfortunately inherit this..

anyway, going back to this dog, i wish i din look into its eyes..after i did, i really feel sorry for it..i have seen him for a number of times and he is really a very well behaved dog, never even hear him woof before..when he attended kyzac party at my hse, he was really well-behaved too

unfortunately due to space constraints and time limitation, we could not take in this gentle dog

simp: yeah.. very prevnar jab will make baby uncomfortable. cause it's one of the strongest virus ard. so ur baby need lots TLC to fight the virus.

kell: i agree wif the post epi pain. i m also suffering frm it. shoulders n waist very pain.

You may consult ASD for help but in the mean time, they may need you/your sister to foster the dog while they find a suitable owner.
 
Pneumococcal jab
When I brought DS2 for this jab at 3yo, the jab was given on his thigh. He couldn't walk for 3 days. I had to carry him around the house.

ASD is like SPCA except that they only deal with dogs. It's a non profitable organisation to help improve the welfare of stray/abandoned dogs.

Isabellali, Im a v bad mummy. Sometimes I take leave secretly then stay at home to do my own thgs or go shopg.

Reena, how come cant walk? My boi just completed the 4 jabs. Actually I cant tell any differences in him. Bcos he is stil as active & as usual wil throw trantrums to get wat he wants. Mayb he has taken when he's v young.

I think human beings are like that, they know some things cannot do, but the curiosity gets better of them. So they just go ahead and do what they like despite u saying no. My Rhys is also like that nowadays. When u tell him no, he would even roll his eyes and say 'eh' and use his hand to beat the air as if wanna beat u.

Last night I scolded DS #1 when I was teaching him chinese, Baby Rhys crawl over and literally growl at me.. OMG!! Why my baby so fierce wan!

I dun think we can say that staying at home to do own thing is bad. All of us need our own time to relax and do our thing~ I also will take leave, sleep whole day, and leave my baby to the maid.. It's the quality of time that counts, not quantity=)

i m sneaking off to JB on a weekday with a pal to shop..i have not decided to tell or not to tell my mum yet..i will be going during office hrs

i remember when my pal was staying with her mil who is looking after the kid, she did the same too :p

i guess subconsciously we feel bad to take leave to "enjoy" ourselves

I feel bad for the boy. Such a poor boy. Hope we cn do something for many unfortune children in our world. Especially those whom are abused by their parents or relatives or friends..

They are innocent and still dun know what's right for them.

Let's pray for the boy's father so he will realise what he's done is bad. And hope God shows him the way to be a better father. Amin

<font color="ff0000">In regards to the stray dog... I have unfortunally had some uncounters with stray dogs and therefore had afew times contacted ASD. Let me update you what usually happens: 1) ASD, being an organisation that does not believe in killing, once they take in the dog, sure they will try to rehome &amp; keep the dog alive. PROBLEM is they are currently already overloaded. cos its more IN than OUT. meaning to rehome a Mongrol take AGES. Honestly, they will tell u to try "froster" the dog while they try to help u with rehoming COS they are already "full". There's no way they can take in anymore dogs. IF you wish the dog to DIE, you may send it to SPCA. They will take it as a "surrender" and put the dog to sleep, BUT if you were to ask them what are they going to do with the dog, they will tell you once you surrender they will NOT inform you what they're going to do to it. The dog will be put to sleep within 24 hours and that is SPCA. Sorry... if you can, please keep that poor dog. Its VERY hard for a mongrol to find a home, if u say its a husky, weird leh... nobody ever complains of its size and sure everyone will start replying your sms they want the dog....</font>
 
BTW, for all to know. SPCA is NOT like ASD. ASD dont kill, SPCA kills... I am not just telling some other people's story. It happens to me. so honestly speaking, I dislike and hates SPCA.

mummies, hv any of you faced the problem of your kid refusing to eat? my DS won't finish his food now AND will hold the food in his mouth till he can't take it n spew it out. hb n I are losing our patience. then my mil will be frus with me that her beloved grandson is not eating well!
 
Clover, this has been happening to mine since last mth. He is also refusing his food. I asked my other colgs. All tell me its normal tt bb once reached 1 yr old will slow down in eating. They oni eat a lot during growth spurts. Now they grow v slowly &amp; gradually. So appetite wil nt b as good as b4. I have tried giving him different kind of food until Im so desperate tt I try feeding him adult food. Same respond. So now I take it easy...
 
jeangal, it also happened to me since last month. then he went on eating and these two days he wont eat again. can take 1.5 hrs for a lunch. tonight i tried giving him his dinner in 2 portions and he still wont finish.

Sometimes I also take leave with hubby to spend some time on our own on weekdays coz we keep our weekends free to be with the boy. Occasionally, I will take an afternoon off and go get a haircut or massage!

now i noe the dif =)

the dog was initially taken to the clinic by a passerby and it was quite sick, so my sis' colleague was going to put it to sleep, however, my sis manages to save it and now it is fine again

we have found a owner for the dog yesterday and was telling the owner if any problem, return the dog to us and dun abandon it, we will see how

i have yet to ask my sis wat breed tat dog is, is tat a mongrol ?

I am not sure abt his height but his head is up to my hips now. I'm 1.65m so guesstimate about 85-90cm.

i went through the not eating phase with zac, it can be frustrating but it will pass and come back again to haunt you. For lele giving yoghurt together with her porridge does help.
 
I know AVA will euthanise dogs with 24 hrs if no one come forward to claim. Now must note SPCA too. But I feel SPCA will only treat mongrels that way. Pedigrees alys get adopted real fast.

My friend's Golden nearly kanna. Found out dog missing on Day 1 10.30am, dunno why kanna caught by AVA, and luckily by Day 2 8.30am, they called up AVA. AVA wanted to put the dog to zzz by the end of Day 2. Really very very lucky. This Golden was microchipped but AVA did not scan him. They claim they have too much on their hands to locate the owners. Really lame excuse!

Yes, i started to notice shevon not eating in her usual speed n wd refuse fd ore reduce. Oh i dun know that. I tgt maybe teething as she always drools when teething starts. So i need to monitor ya.

bb won't eat
at first I tot its the chye sim I added n made the porridge bitter. yesterday gave him sweet potato, pumpkin, tofu n pork. the porridge smells so good but! he still won't finish his food. after a few mouthful, he will hold the food in his mouth. I even tried blending it. haiz.

dunno whether its teething coz he was drooling a lot a while back. he has 8 teeth now. stagnant for quite a while.

Is it because you blend the food till it's too smooth? What about trying for a slightly sticky texture for the porridge and don't blend too fine?

hehe, the main programme is meet at Kranji MRT at 9am, eat breakfast at JB at abt 9 plus am , shop to digest when the shop open at 10am , eat lunch at 1 plus pm , watch movie or shop again , drink coffee &amp; eat cake, will be leaving JB at 5pm to avoid the crowds

there is this dish tat my fussy kiddos eat..steam apple &amp; fish together..apple have to steam 10 min, add salmon, steam another 20 minutes

Btw, another story to share: (like old woman so many stories)
My late relative (HB's aunt) got cervical cancer, found out too late. She did Pap smear regularly but at GP. They didnt find any cancer signs until she complain of pain. Brought her to specialist doc already like end stage liao. Should do PAP smear at Gynac clinics cos some, not all, GP are not experienced enough. She just left us after CNY period. Very sad...
