Side track a bit

this morning i was a victim of a "kidnap scam "

it started with a female voice crying when the fone ringing ..and i tell u, it is not easy to identify the age group..

my 1st tot is whether my overseas sis is in trouble, then i hear more dun sound like her

so i assume is my #1 crying at my mum's place .maybe she misses me, and my mum wans her to hear my voice..

so i ask whether she is ok

then the female started to talk in chinese..save me ma ma,4 to 5 youths have captured me

the thing is my 17 months old is not "gifted" to talk" so well yet..

so i was very annoyed but still thinking maybe this person really need help and called wrong number..so i said , who are you..then she refused to answer

i said crazy and she scolded me back in a strong china accent, no more crying

i am due today, but no sign of popping, went for checkup this morning, bb weight 3.7kg but me dilated on 1cm. anyone has any idea how to fasten the dilation? i am so worry now as i dun want to go for c-sec.

do lotsa squatting. when u squat, count to 5 then stand. do as many as u can cos the pressure frm squatting can soften ur cervix and gynae intervention while doing the internal can help too.

sometime me thinking of bb to come out early but sometime i think better stay till wk39.. but then agn.. prefer to let bb surprise me.. my 37wks start tmr!! going see gynae on wed.. dunno wat is my bb and my progress now.

anyone got buy the sheet to put on ur bed to prevent waterbag leakage? me scared wait waterbag break while sleeping.. then my 2K mattress gone..

Lee hong, got ppl suggest to walk the stairs, squatting and walk more. maybe you can try.

redtea,u can get at IKEA, there is cheap ones abt 9 bucks, or better ones that look like fitted sheet to be put on top of mattress.....but cost more depends on size...the cheap ones is just a sheet with no ends to secure meant for children beds....even if no buy is ok...cos my mattress urine by my gal accident few times still ok...

i jus come back from check up.. tested positive to GBS.. Sad

n due to Fri strong contraction i experience.. n now i still got mild contraction.. Dr say i m in early labour le..he advice me to admit to hospital to induce n give birth anytime .. if find the contraction disturbing.. OR to wait til stronger pain set in...

I chose to wait... scare to face the pain lol...

Btw bb Shawn is 3245g @ 37w5d... mummy gain 15kg to date

any of you all total breastfeeding?....how many hrs you all need to breastfeeding her/him after one feed? today, my girl last feed was about 10am and feed her till about 11am and she sleeps till 3plus....you all think it is ok? I am worried whether she is getting enough milk like that bo....got a few times like that liao...if not, normally, about 3 hrs will wake up for one feed before she sleeps again.

Can share some experience....???

me tbf too. yes u're doing the right thing and ur bb's reaction to that is normal. except u dun have to latch for 1 hour ley! just 15 min will do. else ur nipples will get sore!

yeah i realised that a lot of March mommies popped in February! think b'cos most of us are 2nd time mommies? but the first time mommies can get experience tips from us.

cladi, some bleeding is expected after cervix check. if no contraction pain should be ok. Better ask nurse or gynae wor.

ya, induce is the pain is more intensed.

actually i think pain is very subjective, depending on your threshold. me i dun care lah. labor where got no pain. no pain no gain mah hehehe. but at least to me, induction results in shorter labor. i prefer intense pain but short then lesser pain but drags more than 12 hours. it's like never-ending pain like that! and we haven't even touch on the aftermath pain (after delivery liao).

but of course waiting for nature to take its course is the best choice.

Mummies : I went for my check up last fri. Gynae advised since im first time mummy, if i only have a bit of discharge or water bag burst a bit, dun need to rush to hospital immediately as it may lengthen the time of labour..But how am i supposed to know ah? Hmm, i think i will be nervous if i have these symptoms...Cos i seen in this forum some mummies after losing mucus plug, still can wait???? Im quite confused actually...
