i m really dead beat..today is my 1st day as a SAHM while hb goes to work and with a maid who does not noe how to take care of kids..

btw, my #1 only sleeps 1.5 hrs today..so <font color="0000ff">adeline</font>, u r lucky tat Kim sleeps so much ;)

have to cook for #1, did the washing of bottles myself..at least dun have to do hsehold chores

kudos to SAHM without maids..

PS: happy that this is only for 2.5 days ..cos rest of the days hubby on leave or PH
 
regarding BD, melissa, ur s drive very high :p

hehe, me &amp; hb dun believe in taking a break during this preg, last round did it till the day i was admitted into hosp for delivery

haha, maybe if things go as smoothly as last round , can try BD on hospital bed :p

i'm also looking at infant care centre.... so far went to look at 2 of them... ermmmm... some of the factors i'm looking at:
1. teacher-to-infannt ratio
2. cleanliness of the place
3. convenience for me to bring my kid to and fro
4. look at the kids there- see if they look happy or miserable..keke..got to go down at the centre with kids around

cons:
i heard kids fall sick easily

okie..got to rush off for meeting now..will fill in any missing details later..

you keen on breastfeeding ah? initially you should breastfeed every 1.5 hours or on demand when your baby cry for milk. usually the baby will start looking for the nipple when she's hungry.

anyone knows when is the next Starhub Roadshow? where can i get info about the roadshow other than newspaper huh?
 
i just returned from the metro expo sale. i bought nursing bras for $8 a piece which is a very good deal and some disposable undies to use during confinement, which the material is more comfy than the usual disposable undies. my hubby saw some other MTBs snatching up the undies too!

yes i think it's most worth it to get undies and bras from metro sale. i got my breastfeeding bras from there too. i dunno why but the aunties will always insist i buy a size bigger. but turns out, after birth and breastfeeding i lost weight rapidly so i should've bought one size smaller instead!

to mommies who can already feel baby hiccup:
how many times do your babies hiccup a day? i can feel my baby hiccup everyday ley. it's almost irritating liao hahaha.

I have also signed up with Bliss Confinement agency last mth.. Not bad reviews.. and the lady boss v friendly too, my mum and her hit it off well when we went to "interview" one of the CL.. (while she's here doing confinem for new mummy)

i was at perfect mum - the sales person keeps selling their nursing bra - 3 pcs abt $150! got soft wire, and can shape. :| Can wear from now onwards. she oso say buy 1 size bigger. :|

twinklestars thanks for the tips - i think i will also see if the teachers/nurses are friendly or not. Do they attend to babies as soon as they cry

i think baby hasn't build up the immunity system + exposure to more people - therefore higher chance to fall ill. so that will mean additional $$ mthly!

u can feel the rhythmic movement, almost like a 2nd heartbeat where your baby's body is. in my case i feel it somewhere off centre of my tummy, a bit on the right side. it's a constant rhythm and can continue for like a few minutes. i have a feeling that she's head down, body on my right side and hands near my vagina area 'cos sometimes she likes to poke2 there and I instantly feel the urge to pee.
 
Melissa: I agree it sometimes is irritating... I let hubby feel it too. He was asking me "how? u drink water can get rid of it?" very cute hor... I was like... its not me hiccup wat....
