Jerejoy : Your tummy same same as me, mine aso 21wks, i was so scared mine is small. You look v young leh...I still havent know my bb gender, but last visit gynae guess is a gal but he cant confirm, gg for detailed scanning on next week, hopefully bb in right position for me to see..heheee...Can i know what detailed scanning consists of?

Meet at 12noon @ Centre point's Robinson. We will go for a lunch, jalan in Mothercare, Robinson. Last stop shld be Metro Paragon.
 
go to centrept robinson and OG si ma lu today as both having 20%... got many things there compared to metro paragon, isetan scotts.

i bought quite a nos of small things over at cetrepoint robinson and OG si ma lu today.

i check out the ameda pump, selling at $350 at robinson... now robinson is having 20% storewide +5% rebate for members but not too sure whether the pump got discount or not... anyone going can check for me? if got discount, i think quite a good buy.

beware that not everything is 20% discount though it states storewide. promotion items dont have discount.
eg i bought pigeon napkins and baby wipes, dont have discounts.

avent express steriliser is selling as bundle pack $148 ( with quite a few other items inside), definitely cheaper if you are just buying the steriliser only ($171)

i bought the " I love daddy/ I love mummy " mittens and booties from OG. after discount cost $2 plus a set

They will measure the baby's spine and also check if there's any abnormalities and check the gender of the baby if u would like to find out. I was too engrossed seeing the movement of my baby actually.

Regret bought those mittens in baby kingdom cause yest i saw robinson mall also have some more 20% off. Baby Kingdom is not cheap at all, it's stated offer but actually is normal price selling in shopping mall. Today will with shop again with mummies,,,,,want to buy the body suit from mother care, got offer buy 3 pack free 1 pack , vr cheap one body suit is only about $6, can share with mummies if they interested...

Went shopping yesterday at Isetan Scotts, not that happening wo... was with my hubby, he also feels that there doesnt seen much on sales, most of the pumps are sold at the $350 price range, wondering if the sales items were not display out totally as mostly on sales were "winter" items, thick jackets etc...

Saw the baby clothings with wordings "will work for milk" at CK Tang instead, u need to go to the highest level above the man's department there's an escalater behind some watch counter.

My shopping trip was not much, Taka also got some tiny sales at the kids department.

Crowded & Flooded with people....
 
I just look at the website aly posted about baby weight.... oh no, is my baby too heavy? at my 21st week scan, my baby was estimated at 499g!!!

I dont shop all the time.. frankly nowadays I dislike shopping. But yesterday that I went (was in town at 11.30am, untill about 4.30-5pm headed home), I realise that although I felt very tired, baby was less active than usual. My usual is just go work, out to lunch, dinner and maybe sneak out with hubby at night or rot at home watching TV. So is it normal that when I move around that much (really walk alot), baby move lesser, kind of like refuse to even give me some kicks.... only very late last night after midnight then I managed to get few kicks before I doze off. It does scares alittle not to feel anything...

Talking about shopping...

I have not started getting anything for baby except a pair of mittens that say "I'm Mummy's Boy" .

I was thinking since alot of my frens/relatives had babies they are going to pass to mi anyway.

And also lucky mi, My MIL just left for Jakarta
and i just pass her $100 bucks to get baby and my confinement stuff.. seems like thats alot of money to buy alot of things.. cant wait for this sunday when she comes back..

I even got her to get mi a giantic block of chedder cheese.... yummy...

My MIL makes kueh lapis herself and sell. So not needed to get from Jakarta.. Well thats my problem with my MIL, she is a great cook/baker but on a daily basis she cooks only canned food.. funny rite...

hi hi, long time din post, cos was under shadow of bb having DS risk.. but got my amnio result and bb is normal. And confirm 100% is a boy boy.
will be having my detail scan nxt tues. going to see bb agn after 5wks.. neck long long liao.

re: bb things
have not start buying yet. will be collecting bb clothes from relatives and friends. will only start to buy in my 3rd tri. so now can only see see.

argh... so the homones make my skin very bad(my face...). I am thinking to go facial after birth OR do u girls suggest that I can try the lady that was recommanded here? (the one that we go to her house?)
 
i suggest u live with it and get a natural radiant looking face after birth since the hormones are temporary. i very cheapskate one heeheehee..

use thick foundation to cover up and smile a lot! haha.
 
ah yo!! cannot use thick foundation ar...
cos functions like wedding dinner or like need to show face (go orchard shopping) so I put on some makeup to cover the horrible marks... then next few days up to few weeks... hahaha *faint* see the pores all tio stuck! And the breakouts, black heads etc all just come on their own without me having to put on makeup. Ya loh~ I now stareing at mirror at my desk.
 
i think blocked pores are due to bad makeup removal? always use a good make-up cleanser. i got one from The Face Shop. Fruity smell, love it. just smear it all over my face and wipe off with cotton wool, then rinse, then i wash with my cleanser. so far so good, no breakouts and my skin is not tight too. if you put on make up everyday, make sure you use a facial scrub to scrub your face twice a week to remove dead skin cells. i think regular maintenance can prevent u from spending a bomb on facial.
 
went for my detail scan this afternoon, mine is a boy! the chinese calendar gender thingy was accurate for me. next time will aim at the timing for girl.no more princessy clothes and shoes that i have been looking at recently. out comes the soccer balls and lego toys...

oh the scan was quite a touching moment. i actually teared. husband said he lei wang wang wor.

Also spent alot today at metro and robinsons.

melissa, i also heard that the face shop's makeup cleanser is good, my coll switched to that from Fancl's. I'm using Fancl's so far so good, haven't finish my 1st bottle (can use for 4mths).

babykingdom - kate, it's cheaper for large items, the others same items are not cheap there.
