peapod, i have the fisherprice kick and play piano, just open up today and let samuel tried, he seems amused by the music and will giggles when he kicked the piano got sound. Too bad we don't drive so can't bring it.

Do we have enough mat on that day? Besides darmae, anyone else bringing? I can rent from them at $10... not v. worth it though cos' a month rental is only $30. I will bring along my baby gym too

I changed the timing from 11:30am to 3:30pm. I need to handover the function room key to mgmt office by 4pm. You can come earlier if you want, as the room will be available from 10am onwards. Its air-con, can be quite cold. Vending machine is available outside the room, you can get drinks.
I will prepare hot water & a changing mat for mummies.

I have a friend that does catering and is able to provide 8 course hi tea buffet for 20pax btwn $10 - $12 only. May I suggest that we order from him instead of fast food since the cost works out to be within our initial budget of $12.50 per pax? The spread is quite good, definitely better than fast food

Currently there's only 15-16pax mummies having lunch, don't think can do catering leh, so small nos. How abt we do bento set lunch? Em, can you check if that YLS catering can do bento set for us instead if we can't do buffet style?

my gal also starts clamping fists together and suck the portion just outside her lower thumb and she sucks vvv loudly. hubby and i want to let her try pacifier again but mil says no to it. she says better to suck hand than pacifier!! we think it's not hygenic leh..just hope baby outgrow it soon . but, it's actually vv cute to watch her suck...hehe...

My girl tries to suck too but we stop her...but in her sleep she sucks nothing...just mouth moving in the sucking motion...

atinarin: i started using cethaphi cleanser sometimes back when i notice my boy got cradle cap, after shampoo with cethaphi, i apply J&J baby oil on it and now no more cradle cap, u may want to try.
Voice: I will try that soon if oil alone doesnt work. I use an organic shampoo.
Brought my girl to in laws' for xmas and i thin she was taken aback by so many new faces she cried when she looked at them! not the usual cry but the one with the lower lip turned outwards..haha...

My DD also loves sucking around her thumb area till the whole fist is so wet. Yucks. I cant stop her lei, pulled her hand away and she will wail. Give her pacifier, she will spit out.

Mommies with daughter, may I know what is your DD's weight now? Andrea was only 5kg when she was exactly 3mths old. Anyone knows or can comment if she is underweight? I feel that she is quite small lei. I see the above post of all the babies pictures.. they all look so big. *Worried*

My DD also loves sucking around her thumb area till the whole fist is so wet. Yucks. I cant stop her lei, pulled her hand away and she will wail. Give her pacifier, she will spit out.

Mommies with daughter, may I know what is your DD's weight now? Andrea was only 5kg when she was exactly 3mths old. Anyone knows or can comment if she is underweight? I feel that she is quite small lei. I see the above post of all the babies pictures.. they all look so big. *Worried*

Hi amy, thanks. I think I can conclude that its my period as the flow is much heavier and it went on for 3 days till now it is lightening already. I had just always thought there will be a break between the after birth bleeding and the 1st period.
Emily & voice, so we are not getting catering in the end. We can order Sakae sushi platter as well...yummy! Voice do you need help with the food arrangments? I can volunteer if you need
About sucking...Faith loves to suck her fingers! She will stick 2 fingers into her mouth and suck very loud and hard. Then she will use her wet hand to rub her face so have to constantly wipe her hands and face. Last night I found her sucking her fingers in her cot when I went to check on her as it was time for her feed. I was just wondering why she hasn't cried for milk, turns out she found her fingers. When I pulled her fingers out she started crying immediately! Don't think theres a way to stop the sucking habit...she sucks her fingers all the time even when she is not hungry leh.

My Summer oso luv doing it....But I dun let her do so coz heard tat is nt gd n unhygenic...hav cases of sucking until bleed n sore, thickening of skin, still sucking in her sleep(9 yrs old liao)....hard to wean off for tis sucking hand/fingers/thumb habit... Easier to wean off by sucking pacifier... heard fr experience mums n dads.... So I let her suck pacifier instead.... but she will spit out or remove her pacifier when she wanted to suck her hand....sometimes will cry if I keep removing her hand( c who more persistent )....but she can suck all she wan if I am nt ard loh....Hubby sometimes remove her hand but he is nt as persistent as mi....Hahahaha...

To avoid mummies backing out last minute after commiting to lunch, I will need to collect $12/per pax first before ordering, intending to order 1 day in advance due to festive season. Any excess fund will be refunded to you.

my gal not hungry leh.. sometimes she only drink 3 meals a day.. she will starts to sleep at abt 9 plus.. then my hb say dun wake her up.. cos she's very sleepy.. then she will still sleep thru till the next day for at least 10 hours... her interval is 4 hourly.. then she sleeps thru the nite for at least 12 hours... if i try to feed her more, she cant finish leh.. so dunno whether to start her on solid not.. she's 4 mths plus now..

pinkyj: waaah..u save alot on milk powder! haahaa..but i think u shld give your PD a tinkle and check if ur girl is under drinking anot. Imagine we adults needs to eat 3 meals a day and solid food but ur girl only drinking milk leh, for 3 feeds very little. Better to check with professional advice on this. 4mths + can actually start on rice cereal mix with milk, also need to check with PD if she is ready.

during her last visit to the pd, i've check with her abt the meals.. she said its fine as long she's gainin weight.. she's still on 4 meals a day, but sometimes 3 meals.. she's drinkin 180mls per feed.. maybe shld jus call my pd to double confirm...
