Btw chairperson/mummies,
I called gymboree to ask about birthday party gathering at their location. Price is ~$350 to book the centre for 1.5 hrs for up to 10 babies, price includes 1 hour of activity for the babies run by their 2 staff, and half an hour for eating. Additional babies charged at $15/baby. Adults no charge. Food we got to cater ourselves from outside. So lets say there are 30 babies for the gathering, we need to pay $350 + $300 = $650, each baby will have to pay ~$22 for the location and activities, and then parents pay abt $15/pax for food catering. What do you all think? Reasonable?

Irene, the carrot snacks I bought from Vitakids says on the package not suitable for children less than 12 months leh. Did I buy the correct thing? I gave Jade liao then my mother saw the package and gave me a big scolding :/

angel: u bought the wrong type of carrot sticks, the one u bought contains corriander and potato as well i think, that one is 6pkts in 1 big bag right, sala lah!! you should buy the individual small pkt priced at $2.70 each and not the $6 one bag.

Mummies help! Those who have gone overseas for holiday with your baby, got packing list to share anot? We're driving up to Port Dickson with Jade for 4 days 3 nights next week and scratching my head what I need to bring; seems like got alot of things to bring!!!??

By the way, do we pay for the gymboree trial class to you beforehand or at the centre?
 
angel: i yet to travel with baby, do share your experience and check list if any. If you read the mother & baby magazine for June, they gave some tips there on traveling with kids.

I also think paying close to $40 is not worth it leh.. but we will need a really big place to house the crawling babies and their parents, and preferably somewhere central. And only for 1.5 hours - very short! We mummies will need more time for catching up.

I believe we'll conservatively have more than 40 babies nearer Aug leh. Is the premise at Gymboree big? If so, if we don't need their staff to be around (is this even possible?), but just use their venue, will it be cheaper? Arg!!! I am up pumping now cos my gal woke me up!! Dunno why..at 8mth old, she keep waking up at nite and will ask for milk at ard 4 plus am. She has never been like tat when she was younger. We have been increasing her milk intake everyday..but she still wakes up for the past 1 week leh. Growth spurt??
 
poohwei, ben aso has been waking up at 4.30am to 5+ am every morning for the past few days! but he doesnt wanna drink. just wan to play. have to cuddle him to sleep then he sleeps till 6.45am thereabouts to drink. sighs.
