Hmmm.. looks like not really worth to travel all the way to expo just for the Motherhood Fair & babysafe not participating there also.

Anyone know if there's any other sizes for bb mattress other than those Ningyo had shared with us as below:

Babysafe mattress:
28"x52" is $169
28"x48" is $149

Don't know whether mine is the odd size out there, 22"x42". The size is much smaller than the above. Help...

best to see a gynae. i was having mild contractions then. although doc gave med, he said the best med was to rest. true enough, after resting, the pain goes off.

ur cot size is similar to mine and jasmine. odd size. quite difficult to find mattress of that size. in the end, jasmine and i got the mattress from kiddy palace. it's the foam type. i tried asking for the latex mattress but they don't have it for that size. m not sure whether babysafe carry the measurement for ur cot though. perhaps, u can call up and check.

Thanks for all ur reply. Its dull pain. After rest, it did improve a bit. Baby still moves actively everyday. Maybe I am too worried. But I will monitor and hope it gets well automatically.

my cot is 23 x 46", i saw one suitable one at Mothercare, u can check that out. I tink its 2 pcs for $42. Plain coloured cot sheets.

Just wondering if there's a few standard size for baby cot? Looks like there are several sizes in the market.. and how to acually find a mattress to fit unless they are bought from the same place, isn;t it? and how abt cot sheets? Abit confuse with these...

I just went kiddy palace and saw the baby safe pillow - anyone can share with me : should we buy flat pillow or the one with the 'hole' or depression in the centre for head? they say for new born... i thot the flat on seems also good.. i dunno never use b4, hope someone can share thots

think the standard sizes for bb cot nowsadays are 28" X 48" and 28" X 52". if u get cot of these sizes, shd have no problems getting bed sheets, etc.

anyone knows whether TMC or MT A whichever is more afforable???me giving birth in another 1-2 mths time but havent decide which hospital to choose...

U can actually get the hospital charges info from MOH website, it's very transparent nowadays. I saw it before, but din keep the link.. maybe u try to search from there.

I have the same feeling, i think this year there are really many pregnant ladies around!! and babies too.. But my hubby said it's just bcos i din pay much attention to this before.

there was once i wanted to give seat to a pregnant lady (in mrt) who has a much bigger tummy than me. Sometimes there are 2 or 3 preggies sitting/ standing at the same area in the mrt too, the pple sitting also dunno wan to give away seat to which preggies.. hehe..

yest i went to the motherhood fair and it is reali not worth going down..i din even get anything from there and it is a reali small event...so disappointed...i was hoping to get a cot from there...those mummies who bought cots, where do u buy it from and wat brand is it..me now juz need to look for a cot n more or less completed liao..

lucky i change my mind told hubby don't want to go the to fair liao. Cos from west travel to east very far..and we have not much things to buy anymore.So never intend to go.

I agree with u that it's getting real hard to get a seat in the mrt. I am kind off like can't be bothered with these people nowadays.

In fact, i tot i share one funny incident with everone here ...

On thursday, my preggie fren and i went shopping in orchard so boarded a train that was so crowded at ard 7.30pm. Needless to say, no seat and no one gave up even when two preggies stand together. 2 stops later, an old lady ard 60 yrs old came in saw the two of us and commented " You two girls are pregnant and no one gave up their seats?!" Two of us jus smiled. Then she replied "Cannot cannot, let me get u a seat, she then approached a man who was seated and told him to give up his seat. He boh pian got to stand up but was damn embarrassing for him cos' so crowded mah! But since there were two of us, she then went on and ask another man to stand up and give the seat to my fren!

I tot the aunty was so garang but actually i was pretty happy the way the men were put to shame and i hope those seated learnt a lesson too!
