CT,
i agree wif u abt individual preference & pain tolerance. i was very against epi too cos i was worried abt backaches & any spinal problems. then again, when i was on e delivery bed, it was a situation of 'take epi, have natural delivery' or c-section cos i was so tensed up, my cervix wont dilate. i am also against c-section cos i hate 2 b cut up n i also heard it's harder 2 heal n need 2 avoid more food during confinement.
i dun tik i'm in a position then 2 let epi wear off b4 BFg cos 30mins after giving birth, e midwife just dumped my son on me n told me 2 breastfeed. i was in shock n me being a 1st-time mummy, i just followed lor...of course i didnt breastfeed for long cos i was grouchy, hungry & tired.
anyway, i really cant tell wat'll happen for tis 2nd labour...i may do c-section, i may hv a shorter labour, i may not BF my bb 30mins after giving birth BUT i know for sure tat i'll definitely take epi. i cant even tik abt e future when i m in excruciating pain.
