I also think u should get a confinement lady. You also need someone to cook confinement food for u.. You need rest for the mth.

Hi ladies,
I think if anyone want to book CL. I think we should book now. I have booked my CL already. Gave her $300 deposit. She charges me $1600 and if we want her to do housework another $100. I told her, we will let her know if we need her to do housework when she comes to our hse. Just hand my deposit last sunday. Luckily called her earlier, someone also want to book her for the mth of Aug. However, didn't manage to book the massage lady (Aini) introduced by my SIL. $50 per session. End up I have booked Mdm Rohaya $490 for 7 sessions. Although more expensive, at least manage to book the massage lady. She told me i am the last one the mth of Aug slot. Dun know how true. I will also be doing my confinement at my own house with the help of the confinement lady. My MIL will do the marketing and bring to my house. She drives so not too bad... For my mum as she lives further, she will visit me whenever she is free. Now my headache is who will take of our baby after my confinement. My MIL was telling me, she can take care for 2 to 3 days and my mum also say she can take for 2 to 3 days every week. Then we will take care during the weekend. Still dun know this will work or not. haizzz.

I heard form my hb, his friend's wife gave birth last wk at Mt alvernia. She was on natural birth, maybe too many hours baby still dun come out end up have to go for caesarian. Total bill $6k plus and they have to pay $3k plus cash.

good luck for ur scan tmr. i prayed before i go in for the scan. no need to drink a lot of water. just took 1 glass of water during lunch that's all.

i also dun feel bb's movement yet. gynae says will feel some fluttering within the next 2 - 3 weeks. then abt wk 25, can feel definite kicks n punches. so not to worry.

what package are u talking abt? is it the package for the routine check-up? I din sign up cos the nurse told me if i claim the $450 now, i can only claim $1050 during delivery. So I decided not to claim now but to claim $1500 for the delivery.

I din go to work yest. Already told my gynae that I need an MC for the day. Dh took half day though.

yup, if bb too big, better opt for c-section. my colleague's bb was too big but she wanted to try for natural. in the end, ended up emergency c-section. Have to pay for both natural delivery and c-section charges. ended up paying $6K.

yah the check up package and the delivery package.
can book all the package at once..actually wanted to check with the counter at about the packages.. but waited too long..

i think i op of c-section though my doctor encourage to to natural birth..
