ur frien must hv had emergency c-section after trying very hard 2 push bb out during natural delivery but couldnt.

sometimes tis kinda thing very hard 2 say 1...how 2 know if bb's big. i have a cousin whose gynae told her tat her bb girl is 3.9kg at 40wks. she was abt 2 go for c-section but decided 2 try for natural delivery. luckily she delivered naturally, assisted n her girl is only 3.2kg. i dun 1 2 say who e gynae is cos he's very famous in gleneagles n uses very high-tech machines.

How big are your tummies now? I find mine very small worry baby not growing

how "good" is the storing of cord blood ah? you all think it's necessary?

I am thinking if I get a maid in, then morning time may bring the maid and baby to my mum's place to ja-ga then afternoon, my mum would ferry them back to my house and get my MIL come over jaga or something till we feel the maid is "good enough" or confident enough to handle on her own and we can trust her then we can lax down the monitoring? you all think this is good? then weekends and evenings we would be back home liao. then maid meantime in the afternoon can do some housework and prepare dinner for us etc.

You going to which hospital for detailed scan?? If it is TMC go after their lunch time. My appt was 2pm, but i reached there 1.30pm. Nobody was in the queue. Very fast no need to wait.

think her consult is about $80. detail scan is done by another doc cost about $230.
her style is to the point, can joke and modern.

But u might like to know that I had quite a smooth labour for my 1st, in fact i din even know i was in labour when i walked into the hospital when in fact i was already 4cm dilated liao! The nurse asked if I had been walking or shopping alot - was true leh! I was done in abt 4 to 5 hrs, i only suffered the contractions for abt 2 hrs, i tink. So dun worry so much .... when it comes, it comes ... jus like contractions... haaa !

The only exercise i did was during the antenatal classes. Other than that, ahhh... swimming but nt often. I tink it's good to walk if doc din advice against it.
