Yup..can switch the beef to any kinda meat. I also dun give Kay beef cos it's too tough.
Try to ask the market people to mince the meat twice. Then it'll be much softer & easier to swallow.
Pumpkin is very sweet & high in betacarotene...My Kay loves pumpkin although I dun eat it myself. Not sure if the taste will be affected if u change to other veg. But u can try...
Today, I cook ABC pasta with pork liver, ribs & gou qi zi. Kay likes it alot. Although she can't finish. Haa..haa...guess she's sick of her porridge liao. Cos I use the same ingredients for porridge & she doesn't like.

Oh dear. U mean the laosai leak? Then u gotta change the bedsheets in the middle of the night too? I bought a mattress protector for Kay's crib. Then feel more assured now cos even urine leak, the mattress still clean. Last time I gotta air the cot mattress when Kay leak urine.

Wow. Your bbs drink a lot of milk. Mine only takes about 300-350ml a day. I read that 360ml at this age is good, and my UK friend gives the same to her bb.... I need to rearrange his meals cos he takes 3 meals a day but I can't squeeze in more milk feeds. He only take a few sips before sleeping.... He's 10.4kg and 80cm. Looks thin cos he's extremely active.

Dunno how we're going to be able to do this. When we seat him on his potty, he rides it like a toy. He only poos discreetly. He will go to a corner and pretend to fiddle with the window or something on the chair and emerge when he's done. Potty means someone has to be there with him while he does it so how are we going to do this?

Last time when Caitz had the fake measles, her appetite went down so much until now still eat so little. But today she had a break through... she had 2 helpings of macaroni soup for lunch n dinner! Really hope her appetite is back... she is eating so little n is so underweight... really makes me worry!

Last time when Kaylyn had false measles, her appetite also went down alot. Till now her milk intake is really pathetic. Sigh..dunno when her appetite will come back.

It's GREAT tat Dylan can poo alone! I'm there with Kaylyn while she's pooing at the toilet seat ONLY because I need to hold her. Otherwise, she'll fall from the toilet bowl.
How I wish Kaylyn can poo alone while I do my chores.

Zoe, your description is really funny. i was trying to visualise dylan riding on the potty, and fiddling with the window and walking to you smiling with that kind of 'i've poo-ed! yeah!' look. haha.
anyway, Lycia is down with HFMD. poor gal. her knees, soles, palms, and mouth are filled with blisters. her teacher called us from school ytd and told us that they suspect tt she's infected with HFMD. when i went to pick her up from school, she was alone, sitting in one corner cos she had to be isolated. poor gal. her appetite now is not good as well, cos of the blisters in the mouth. and she has to limp when she walks, cos of the blisters on her soles. sigh. hope she gets well soon. doc says it takes about 5 days. and i really really really hope Germayn and Kai wont get it from her, though i feel that the chances of them not being infected are SOOOO low cos they still play together, fight, etc. i duno how to isolate them also.

Actually, i dont really know how to do tt also. haha. My twins just got toilet trained about 3 months ago. haha. And it was with the help of the school and my MIL that they were able to be toilet trained. i got this feeling tt i'll only start toilet training Germayn when she turns about 18 mths? or when she 'hints' tt she's ready. haha. anyway, i've got damn alot of diapers at home now. at least 10 packets for size M, L and XL. haha.
liverpool, Gerrain is a very nice name. I like the name Lerraine, wanted to use it for Germayn but was abit weird, cos my husband's good friend's wife is called Lerraine, they duno how, in the end, we decided to use Germayn. So..Gerrain is like a combination of Lerraine and Germayn. hahahaha.

Zoe - Emerson drinks as much as Dylan.. and yah, Emerson is very active too, I get so tired following him around. My cousin used to hide under the table or stood beside the legs of chairs when he poos. He was potty trained quite late (when he could listen to instructions) and when he poos, the potty was also at a discreet area. It was beside the washing machine right at the end of the kitchen.
After false measles Emerson appetite also gone done alot. I am cooking less and lesser each time. Sigh.

I dunno if I can keep him on his back to change nappies for so many more months. I think I'm going to have to leave it to my mum when she takes over caring for him to train him. ;-) My mum's very patient and excellent at training. She trained my dog to skateboard in a couple of days. ;-p

Cos the sinseh told us not to overfeed Julian so i didnt really increase his intake. If he is too full he tend to release alot of gas and will wake up and cry at nite. I also trying to cut down food that will create wind.

U can try feeding Lycia porriage water? I cooked porriage with chinese Cabbage. I fed her the porriage soup cos she dun feel like eating. It has very gd cooling effect.

It was pretty rush for us last two days. SO i cooked more porriage for both kids. I fed both of them at the sametime. Julian was making noise when he saw jie jie was also eating from the same bowl. Very funny. Somemore Julian just swallow his portion so he ate very fast. When he saw jiejie ate the porriage. He was called out "Ahhhh" like scolding Janelle. hahahha..

Hello, is every baby on stage 3 FM already?
I tried giving Emerson Enfac Stage 3, but he dont like them. I heard there are several flavours like Vanilla, Regular and Honey. I dont know what flavour coz I cant find the label on the tin.
gave him Pediasure Complete when he had one day of diarrhoea that day, he drank more than the Enfac3. I think its vanilla coz it smells vanilla.
That day I read the papers they have this report on FM that have FOS, pre and probiotic, makes me very tempted to switch his FM to either Mamil the new one with immunofortis or Gain IQ. Enfac series do that have those stuff in them....

Our babies at this age seems to be more "fun" to play with because they can interact with us and do funny things to make us laugh... I dunno if this is the reason, my hubby is like super doting on Emerson. very sticky towards him... and it's like a total change for him. Now, he will initiate to play with him ... on friday nights, he will ask emerson where he wants to go on weekends. When we go out, he usually the one chasing after E and feeding him porridge. When E fall down he be like super heartache... I think he just "found out" that he has a son??

FM - heard tat friso 3 hv the probiotics... but probiotics need to be kept in cold condition. so i v skeptical abt it. The Childlife colosturm with probiotics need to be kept in the fridge. btw zav still in stage 2. i lazy to change. haha

They have Guess Jean and zara short sleeve top but i dun know is it sold out. U wanna wait for the next shipment? I can forward u the new arrival sms the boss send me next rd. Infact, not much for gers this time.

Arin is still on Mamil Gold Step 2...and I just ordered another 12 tins! Ha ha ha...guess won;t be changing the FM till she's past 18 months too. Currently deciding between Gain IQ and Mamil Gold Step 3. Actually Arin's on Mamil cos I lazy, never changed what the PD recommended...but my friend said Gain better so I also undecided. Any comments on which FM is better is most welcomed.
Sigh, Arin also has a "special" relationship with her daddy. When he comes home, she's jump up and down and call out pa pa and will kiss him when he carries her. Never do that for me..

Yesterday brought Kay for her Pnuemoccocal jab. She cried the moment the doc jab her thigh. Wah! Her tear drops so big majiam like those movies! Haha. Then keep touching her thigh where the jab is & sobbing away. Luckily she's distracted when I was paying money & began playing with my wallet.
Kaylyn weighs 8.4kg & is 73cm tall. Also underaverage.

PM, that's a good news... hb more involved in activities... last week hb n i trying to test char so hb hug me and say sayang me, guess what char did... she came over slap my hb... haha... 2nd time i hug hb n say sayang, she came over again, push my hb away n sat on my lap... that's a very funny thing for her to do that... haha... we couldn't stop laughing, then hb was saying of cos lar, i so closed to her...
Pneumoccocal: thot of jabbing char when she recovered too... yesterday i was oso vomiting, having whole body ache, guess got stomach flu... char oso vomitted again, put her over at my mum's place cos i'm too tired to look after her n was on bed whole day... finally opened my eyes this morning, nvr eat anything yesterday, eat already still vomit out... finally able to finish a bowl of biscuit with milo just now...

My boy just switched to Enfac Stage 3 Vanilla flavour, taste and smell nice leh. Have talked to the Enfac Consultant, she says the Vanilla and Regular flavour has more fibre than the Honey flavour. So give my boy Vanilla flavour as he has bad constipation, slightly better now.
My boy also super sticky to his daddy now, don't know why, always want his daddy to carry him the moment he sees his daddy.
