Jasline - yr dimension is how many kg? usually 2kg will serve ard 20-30 ppl. If not enough then u've got to cut smaller slice i think.

Mamaanne - why do u need boxes for cupcakes? U want to give to yr guest?
 
Pooh- Yah i was surprised too, I saw the hospital from the death cert. I wonder how they going to answer for it. I used to think govt hospital are those full of red tapes, even pte also like this. p

Yes, confirm its raffles hospital...When I heard abt the blood bank staffs, so angry...How can this kind of thing happen...
 
I felt so sad when I saw the news, I couldn't believe such things happen in Singapore.
It reminds me of my sis in law, she also passed away a few hours after giving birth to a twins thru c-sect 1 and 1/2 yr ago. However her case was different, the water from her water bag shot upwards and damaged most of her organs.

The twins never get to see their mummy, I feel so sad when I tot of it.

aiyoh, I heard the news this morning, so sad. Wah....Raffles very ex one leh...I thought should be very good. Why the staff like that one, life is more important leh, things like that cannot wait. Life very unpredictable.

I leave the shape of the cake for Gladcakes to decide, but the size should be equivalent to 9" round + 6" round. Now, I have around 35-40 people. Ya lor...I think have to cut smaller piece if not enough, and maybe have to sacrifice my share also if not enough.

I ordered my cake fm Glad...same size as you..should be enuff for your guests as i have the same number of guests for my girl's party..but hv to cut smaller slices thou..i also ordered the agar agar cake as well so at least got both cakes to give to the guests to eat so they wont bother abt the small slice of cake :p
 
such sad news. very depressing day ah. even the weather is looking all gloomy.

zita - yup juz got into office, girl was having cough so brought her to doctor. juz smsed u too.

oc - nope. i not too keen on marzipan covering the cake type which is what gladcakes seems to be specializing in. so ordering from hot fuschia. n pine gardens. haha. my 1st n 2nd choice of cakes. but even combined together those 2 cakes cannot beat the mezza9 400+ cake!
 
i sure hope our hubbies know to appreciate us... suffering during pregnancy, having the fear of risk during labour and the undivided attention for the growing up baby.

sometimes, i just dun understand why hospitals nowsaday only see $$$ and not humanity & the heart to heal. So superficial.

The newborn twins is born without mummy.. My heart sank when i see the posting. Mummy is the closest kin the babies can have from inside to outside. I hope the babies are doing fine.

I agree with the rest. The hospital deserved to get a scolding from all. Dun they have kins? bad bad hospital.

The mummy is 44? high risk pregnancy? Feel so angry after reading the withdrawing of blood from blood bank, esp it only required 30 mins to get approval and matching blood. Life seem so unimportant to those hospitals.

Yes, life is really very fragile. Treasure whatever we have and be contented.
 
these parents really perverted!! No matter how ill-discipline the kids may be, they are still her children. Must she wait till something disasterous happen to the 2 kids, then they know the pain?

I just dun understand, why ppl only start to treasure only when they have lost it? so ironic. For me, i already feel the pinch when i am at work, cannot be with my baby.

Ya hor...Got 2 cakes, even the slice is small, they won't bother about it. Enough...then I more fang xin liow. Ok...that day I will cut smaller slice, got extras will go into my stomach...hahaha!
