Happy Birthday to all the beautiful babies! So many everyday. Cannot keep up.
Love looking at the pics. Such nice fancy parties, cakes.... Well done, Mums, for putting in so much effort! Dylan's will pale in comparison but it will prob be even simpler if not for the peer pressure from this thread. Ha.

The birthday cake is very lovely. You ordered from Glad's Cake too? Your son look so tired.. and chubby too..
I brought my baby to Junior league for his very first official haircut... that lady who served me is very friendly. but think she is a bit over cut my son fringe till a bit empty... i am glad that my son seem a bit ok with the haircut where i see a lot toddlers crying while having haircut. I am proud of my baby cos he is the youngest yet the bravest (althoug he does try to get out the seat and try to crawl toward my body). Now, finally my baby look like a boy liao... not more "girl girl" look. so happy . heheh

Blessings/peach - I didnt meet li sher in person, the maid brought the cake out and the house is huge loh~! Comments from guests is the cake is quite sweet, maybe i choose nutella filling. Oh yah, remember to ask for a knife. I didnt know she didnt provide .. so got to hunt for a knife last min.

MamaAnne - Thanks, yes he was cranky towards the end, coz i think he super hungry. I went to the venue first to do set up. Hubby and him was at home then my hubby forget to feed him porridge...so he came with a hungry tummy... AS u can see, my boy's hair also very very long lioa.. but hb just dun want to cut it.

hopefull your baby is feeling better by now.. if fever, try to avoid feeding her with porridge. My son also ganna fever 1 week ago, then outbreak of false measels. lucky now ok liao. Previously in May. my baby also got fever come and go... have to monitor the temp very closely and feed the medicine.
Now i am very worried for the denue fever hotspots as my baby birthday is at downtown east chalet, so near the pasir ris drive 6.. stressed.. think have to but the anti-mosquitoes devices to protect my baby and guests. hopefully they can kill all mosquitoes by then... evil fliers....

I am totally like you! I only wanted a normal cake and some balloons. Now I am thinking of a fancier cake, more balloons and even doing up a collage of her first year photos.. but that's about as far as I'll go.. Will be running around the island with the hubs tomorrow to get everything settled.

Hi to all mummies, long time never post liow. Got read all the postings but have not been posting as quite tight up with work since I have to take over my colleague's work after she resigned.
Happy Birthday to all July Babies.
The July Babies Birthday Bash is so happening and fun. A pity we cannot join, as my hubby is on standby for work on that day.
Seen the mummies really put in efforts in decoration and preparation, making their babies' parties so fun and memorable. I feel really guilty and stress as I have not been doing much, coming Sat is the birthday party and still have not thought what to put up for decorations. this is my findings. Not sure is it still relevent to all.
I went to all the party shops at Concourse. I realised the last shop pricing is the cheapest among the rest. COrrect me if i am wrong.
I'm not sure how much the other shop charge but the last shop charge $5 for a mylan balloon with helium gas. As for standard balloons are still $1 each.
I was looking ard for bday banner, some design are small price. Some are only ard $4 or cheaper.

Hmm..I didn't get a chance to taste the cake cos it's all eaten. Feel so sad tat my hb, me & kay didn't have a chance to eat the cake. But since the cake is finished so quickly, I guess it's nice?

I only tell her I want sesame street and elmo theme. I leave it to her on the design. Size is equivalent to 9" round + 6" round, I leave it to her to decide on the shape of the cake. Ya lor...I also don't know whether enough for guests or not leh.
We might meet each other when collecting the cake. Hahaha...

The cake is only 2kg...cos I also have a 2.5kg agar agar. I have abt 42 guests. But the buffet still left alot..luckily they finished the cake & agar agar.
My twin sis whole family didn't come...sms at midnight the night before to tell me all sorta excuses. I didn't even bother to reply her.

i think better to order less, right? cos still got cake and agar agar (oops, forgot... i havent order yet).. my guests are mainly those more toward older generation, think they would not eat so much also right? otherwise also headache on how to clear later... too much for supper also.... heheh

I have asked Glad, she only provide for cake knife and 1 big box for the cupcakes. no separate plastic bag. She bake out of passion not for business one.

Blessings - My cake is only 2kg, I wanted to order more, but her prices quite steep, so I thought just 2kg. Nothing's left from the cake actually its not quite enough, just have to cut smaller pieces I think. Like Hong i also dun like left overs esp cake, so messy to bring them home.
Buffet, I kind of regretted ordering for 60pax, coz I feel there's no difference in qty when u order 50 or 60. I feel its always better to undercater..so there wont be leftovers, and moreover there will be last min guests not able to turn up... and hardly any last min that can come. My caterer is sort of quite niao with his cutlery & drinks, coz shortage, despite already asking for more. I had to buy from vending machine towards the end to serve. Haha. I expecting ard 80 guest, but 60+ turn out.

As mentioned before, the $ u paid previously was based on a budget worked on, now the bash is over the actual cost is lesser than our budget, so I'll be doing a refund. Because of the constraints with IB, I think I can only do max 10 transactions (correct me if wrong) a day. I'll proceed on with batches. Mummies below, pls provide me A/c number to TT to.
