Mummy I had orders the buffet! Had change some of the steam item as is taken from other vendor and they cant heat up for us!

Banner we cant add on the pix liao: ( Cause is too time consume for our poor peach & MT to amend print to 40pages & puzzle up.

I just came back from my Hong Kong trip last Saturday evening, caught a bout of cold and am recovering at home today. Shopping is really really tiring!

Anyways, shall we organise lunch next Tue (3 Jul) or Thur (5 Jul), say 12.30pm at Coffee Club, the one near Raffles Place MRT? I'm taking the liberty to suggest a venue & time here, let me know if you have other suggestions in mind... PM me your response and I will coordinate accordingly..

my hb also not very keen in pro photo session. He said why cant we take more natural photos rather than posing here and there...grr! so I got to go with both soft and hard approach...hee!

Actually it is very natural pose. Nothing much to pose. Your main task is to make Summer happy. The photographer will just ask your hb to stand besides you...once you have carried Summer. Very simple task for him to do, stand and just smile. After that, he just have to settle the bill will do, hee hee!

Cheri n her hb n Nikki also had a great fun!

You are such a pretty mummy and have a pretty Summer, must go and take. Can also ask your sister, per head is additional $30

Hahaha! Thanks. When Sha was first born, she looked actually like my hb... maybe I look after her 24x7, so her face changes. Initially no double eyelids at all!
 
Lena - i agree with CG that the poses r all very natural. David din rush us but told us to just let Nikki play w the toys, crawl around to warm her up first. He oso played with her to get her to open up to him...letting her touch the camera a bit. I enjoy the family poses a lot cos we had so much fun making her laugh...hahaha...my ger doesn't laugh easily one hor? those mummies who know my ger knows that...hahaah

we took nude pics (with & without diaper)hahaha...we dun mind cos they r still so young lah...but no more cos from now on, can walk oredi not so nice...no regrets...hhehehe...next time can tease her about her fats...my hb was pinching her just now at her tummy and telling her she's fat...she shakes her head frantically...hahaha

pooh - actually she din like the hairband on her head that's why after a few shots, i took it off, dun wan it to ruin her mood and worse, the rest of the shoot.hahaha

aileen, CG - hahaah, her hair is longer now so maybe that's why looks more lady liao...during shoot, she can only use small clips, now 1 mth later, progress to big clip oredi hor! Dun pray pray ah! hahaah

mtdt - my ger is quite dark unlike me so she looks good only in colours like white, light pink etc...all the candy sweet colours...we love to bring her swimming...think she will get even more tanned.
 
share with mummies who hv daughters this little nugget from a website...about leaving little legacies or creating family traditions..besides the usual albums, journals etc, there was something that i found really unique, sentimental and heartwarming.

they sugg that every year on our girl's birthday, starting from 1 year, we can take pics of them in our wedding gown. Then when they get married, we can give them the gown as a family heirloom of sorts. U like that? I did it for my ger too...but i din keep my wedding gown, only my evening gown but think oso can lah.

Heee...u know wedding gowns all hv the bra padding sewn inside rite? When i drape my halter and low backed gown on my girl, she looked like Pamela Anderson...hahhahah. Very funny..she kept playing with the crystals on the gown and din wanna take it off...am looking forward to future years when she can walk etc in the dress...my hb thinks crazy idea, i told him when u see how she has changed and grows into that gown, u will not think it's crazy anymore.

Think we can oso be creative and innovate, change it to something else instead of gown..

Initially my hb also don't want. Mentioned we had taken more than 2000 shots for Sha since she was born. Try your best to convince him, but if he is still not comfortable with it, maybe try next year?

Mine was a church wedding in the day, so did not have any evening gown. The evening gown I wore during wedding shots was provided by the bridal studio itself.... never mind.... will try Sha try on my ROM dress... must be sexy on her too... cos it is bare back. Wahahahha! So must we post our wedding photos too?
 
hello mummies, got something to ask u all, for high fever, what is the dosage of nurofen/ibufen that we should give now?

the 3 kids are down with high fever. sigh. know how much to give the twins, but not sure about Germayn cos i havent given her that b4. so sian. 39+ degrees for all 3 of them. lycia is getting better already, though, after her medication. brought her to the doc ytd...and it costed $540. haha. can go to hong kong liao. then Germayn's very grouchy the whole day. keeps wanting to be carried. sigh. think she must be feeling very bad.

anyway, all of your babies' bday parties are so happening! i havent planned anything for Germayn yet. asked hb abt it and he just kept saying dunno.. but well, can't blame him, cos i would have said the same also. haha. but i guess i'll prob keep it to a family affair. either that or might just book the children's room in the grassroot club again. used that for the twins' 2nd bday. but somehow, quite tired of all these celebrations. haha. first it was the twins full month in jan 2005, then our customary wedding in nov 05, then twins' first bday on dec 05, the G's full mth on aug 06, then twins' 2nd bday on dec 06..like this kinda thing is like..so nv ending.

ya, and i selected my flat in bukit merah already! yeah! should be able to get the keys by end of the yr or early next yr. but the space is puny... only 85 sq m for our 4 room flat. the flat is not ready but we sneaked into the construction area, the floor size is really very very small. hai. but bo bian la... hb likes that area, and since we got queue number 60, we shldnt waste the chance.

Zita and Fruitee - Your bday bash seems so happening. Nice deco too.

Sigh, Audric is sick now. Brought him to see a GP on last friday. The GP gave him fedac for his cough. I suspect the fedac is too strong for him cos after taking it, Audric can fall asleep while he is on his sitting position. Also, his cough is getting worse. So i brought him to his regular PD. Guess what? My PD said Audric is sensitive to the medicine and its not suitable for babies. I really regreted bringing Audric to GP.
 
Mummies, today very drama. I scalded my hand with hot boiling soup at the food court... luckily it was not E.

I was carrying him on my hips on my right. BEcause he didnt wan to sit in e pram so i just grab food from e nearest stall (abt 5 steps away). The aunties saw how me and OC struggled but didnt offer their help to us. Never mind abt it,maybe they think its not their job.

i tried to use my left hand to carry one bowl by obe bowl to the table. The soup was e first. The aunty filled it up to the brim, before she could warn me abt the hot soup i got scalded at the tip of my thumb as i was trying to put the bowl back, i couldnt take the heat anymore and the whoel bowl poured onto my hand.

After that, I stil had to bring the bowl of noodles to the table bearing with the painful hand.

I know its my own fault for being a smart alex. but i cant stand the aunites for just standing there to watch...they were no customers then. What's worst, she kept rubbing on it saying that she warned me before hand....My fingers were like cooked hot dog.. and the pain is like.. hot water boiling underneath my skin...can feel bislters boiling in lioa.

Regarding to the car sharing, like wat PM say I rather rent a car when I need them at least I dun hv to wash the car, share the car, even get scolded for nothing if anything happen to the car. The car thing are so messy. Season parking is sponsor by 3rd SIL. The name which register on the car is 3rd BIL. But driving the car is youngest BIL. Then, etc etc etc. I hope hb this time will really NOT getting this car.

How is ur hand now? OK? Apply some cream. Nowadays alot of onlookers they totally ignore you one. For example: I took bus with my mum & jayden that jayden drop the ezlink card right in front of an uncle leg but he ignore me & i hv to wait till the bus stop then i can stretch to take it between his leg. Disgusting rite.

*SAD! Last night had good "talk" with my hb about going studio photo shoot. he is so don't like taking pictures and he insisted that why do we have to go to studio rather than just take the pictures ourselves. he was saying if want to take proper family picture then wait till our #2 then take (we intend to have only 2 kids). then i told him if he doens't want to take its fine with me, i will still go and take with her...hee! then he said GO AND TAKE THEN! but hor you know la, feel abit sien already! after than another good "talk" was about her birthday party. told him im gonna do a nice decorations but due to the baptism of his granny happen to fall on the same day and it's gonna be very rushing, he thinks no decorations is fine. his thinking is that the birthday girl will not appreciate it. saying wait till she is older and know what she wants then do a good birthday...how to argue like that! this morning refuse to talk to him!!!

1.8-2 ml for paracetemol(250mg/5ml). Usu if fever v high , i will give brufen after 4 hrs i give paracetemol bcoz that is when fever starts to shoot up again.but cannot give brufen earlier then their 6hr gap dosage. while for paracetemol also 6 hrs.both med are different kinds so you can over lap as long as u follow the correct duration. hope this helps.
 
hi mummies, back from holiday. when got back kristen was sleeping already. but when she woke up at 6 for her milk. she kept licking/kissing me. so cute!

banner - erm. abit hard to add in more cos the photos at the moment fit exactly unless got 6 more pictures to add in then i can make another row. if

yb - can change d photo so long as mtdt has not printed out the collage yet. but i dunno when i can edit it cos i'm at mil's place durin d weekdays n there's no internet there.

zita - nice cakeEee.. n venice looks soooo cute n happy during the birthday party! hee..

lena - sayang. think men dun see the need for the birthday parties n photoshoots etc. generally most men dun have that "birthday party gene". normal la.

Did you bring G to the PD? K has been down with high fever since Thurs early morning. There is a new virus going ard called microplasma. HB's colleague's kid had high fever for 10days!

Anyway, for paracetamol, PD said to give K (9.5kg) 2.5ml 4 hourly. If fever >38.5 one hour later, give Nurofen 3.5ml. Have to continue giving paracetamol every 4 hourly if the fever keeps coming back. And Nurofen is 6hr intervals.

You will need to adjust the dosage according to G's weight. Maybe can just call your PD and ask. Earlier when K was below 9.5kg, he was prescribed 2ml paracetmol and 3ml Nurofen. Hope this helps!
 
Lena, men are like that, they dunno how to appreciate these small little things we do for the kid... but i js dun care, for photoshoot, i js tell him I book this date, make sure u r free... n b'day party I told, I'm booking this date for charlene's 1st b'day, js give me the guest list... hehe... nvr give him chance to reject...

Sorry, did not attend K's birthday party cos have dinner plan but then hor Ryan had a cold and now passed it to me....I was on MC for 2 days. Sigh. I have yet to bring Ryan to see a PD thinking to let him fight on his own but then today I will bring him there cos of nasal congestion and cough now...

My hb has the same thinking like yr hb...he a practical man but then at times, what he said did make sense cos I am an impulsive buyer...He always tell me to bring Ryan for classes only when he is abit older so that he knows what is exectly happening and for birthday party, do not need to be too extravangant cos Ryan does not really know yet...wait till he is older then do a grand one. So after think think, what he said is also true! Sometimes, I tend to focus on my own view but when I look in his angle, it does make sense! As for photo taking, I have yet to mention but I think I know what he will tell me..wahahahahaa

So no need him to do, and he also wun make noise. Like mine decor i bot but he bot those balloons and blew them up.haha. True is actually no need too much decor cos ur summer dun really appreciate also. just a little bit is nice liao....hhee..
as for PS, tell him u really wish to take a family pics for keepsake for everlasting memory. let him FEEL for it.....to capture every sweet loving moments.... is wat i tell my Hub lah...

Hi mums, thanks for yr concern. My hand is being bandaged up. YTD after eating, i cannot tahan the pain go and find nearest clinic to see a doc. Now the pain is gone liao, maybe xoz i took pain killers..

Lena - Hubbies are like that. They wont bother abt decorations. I just do what i wanted and what i like...but also must be prepared that i wont get help from him lah, but no worries, I already roped in my cousins to help lioa :p As for photoshoot, I adpot same strategy as eeyore, I just book the date n let him know ask him to prepared the $ also. Heheheeh As for classes, I believe our babies know how to interact lioa. Emerson likes 2 play with children now. Ytd he played peek a boo with OC and last thurs with Audric (cottagefry's bb).

If I'm like u staying at home, my hb would definitely encourage me to plan for it, cos he thinks I'm too free anyway... haha, trying to occupied me with some activities...

Although I understand that babies at their age won't know what happen but we adults know, it's actually meant for our memories and I wanna treat it as a gathering for those friends or relatives that we hardly meet...
