MTDT, Zav's cake is so nice! Totally have got no idea on what to do for Germayn's bday yet. Didn't really think about it till I went to my friend's baby's full mth ytd, and they were saying the next time we meet would be on Germayn's bday party. And i was like..opps..nothing planned. But anyway, one of my gp of friend's gal went ytd, she's 9 months old... and she weighs 11.8kg!!!!! Even heavier than my elder gal. When she came, everyone found it so unbelievable that Germayn is actually 1.5mths older than her. Germayn looked so...puny. haha.

I've nv let Kai and Lycia try pants b4, only those samples cos i think pants are ex, and whether is it pants or diapers, i always kalang gabok (duno how to spell) when i have to change them. Even wearing their normal pants (as in, ku4 zi3), im a failure at changing them, then my MIL always laugh at me. haha.

Yah..Z's cake & agar agar is so nice...hee..hee...have managed to persuade hb to get an agar agar for K's b'day too...hb loves the agar agar...he said it taste very gd.

Hb loves ur rented toys too..esp the float. But the function rm where we intend to hold k's b'day is WAY TOO SMALL.

Haa..haa..actually I was also surprised tat u all didn't blow the candle 1st before cutting cake...but too paisey to tell u cos so many ppl crowding around.

I only put bumper at the lower level. But some hand-downs bumper are very thin..so I'm thinking of getting a new one. Do u know roughly how long bbs will sleep in cot? Till 2yrs?

juz 2 KPO into e thread:
my 10.5mths baby seth super itchy backside, damn difficult 2 change diapers... i've tried mummypoko=X too thick, huggies=X too small, drypants=X too tight, pampers=ok, nice w/tape but too exp... so i juz change here & there, slowly use finish e stock...

btw if u using pampers box packed, now Giant & C4 got sale! $29.90/box! L=76pcs muz stock up! =)

as for e zzz part, as we're still BF bb, we co-sleep, he didnt wanna zzz in e cot, haiz wasted $200.... but zzz on our bed, initially mths when he started to flip, he fell, i lost count oops...

Psst: we're going to KKH's Best Breastfed Baby Contest ltr @ 4.45pm... wish us luck! hope we win! any experiences?

perhaps i should be glad that my baby seth's a boy... save $$$ on accessories... but somehow, i make it up 2 him by buying more toys? duh.. hahhaha....

yes, finally he's almost turning 1yrs... my super pantang mil didnt allow him wear shoes yet... so am gonna buy a pair for him soon, any good recommendations tried & tested?

me also having baby boy,I dont spend much on his toys cuz he seem dont like to play that much,so far I bought 2 pair shoes from combi ,I find it`s comfy ,bought from tai song ware house so can get cheaper $29,at kiddy palace sell $35
 
Mummies, anyone good with photoshop? I want to ask how to crop selected pictures. Ie, when u crop u crop a boxed up picture right? How do i crop irregular pics? Eg like I only want the head? thanks a million for helping!

u can use M/soft's PAINT prog..
use e dotted box to box ur head, cut & paste on a new page, viola, ur head u wanted.. then shrink e white portion to reduce e waste space, viola, ur head u wanted bigger, nicer...
hahhahaha..

Zav's so lucky, his party looks so happening...hmm, I better start sourcing for decorations for Arin's little celebration too. We've finally decided to just buy a small cake and celebrate with my folks at my parent's place. So will be getting some decorations to add some "atmosphere" when I take photos...ha ha.

2 mtds i koe of:

1 use the magnatic lasso to trace the head, gd if the backgrd colour v diff from the head colour. Inverse selection & delete the backgrd. Do some touchup after the potong..

2 use magic wand to select backgrd colour & delete till backgrd remove..
 
hi wendy... the elle shoes are very nice. where do u stay? i've not seen any elle shoes around. heard clarke shoes are good but i find them very very heavy!

dsii... i see. hehehe... cuz i've been a bit lazy in burping my girl lately, so wanna ask if you mummies are still burping. anyway... she's doesn't really burp nowadays. hehe

Wendy found the elle shoe in TW..that's y not common here lor..but quite ex leh..as good as clarke price. And like wat Wendy mentioned combi shoes are quite comfy, but design more for boys leh i find..
If u dun mind a bit "obit" pattern, u can try cerisi..but at times can find nice designs also lah..

i only let Julian pick up tiny snack to place in his mouth. I only try self-feed on Janelle when she is ard 2yo - 2.5yo.

For Photoshop, use the pathing method also can, click on the pen tool, and click on the image itself, a few points at a distance from each other, then use the Convert Point Tool to adjust on curve areas. After you trace the area you want, then go to Paths, go to Make selection. After this, you will see dotted lines forming the area you trace, then copy and paste.

I let xavier eat on his own for fun. I'll put food (such as rice, prata in small pcs) on his plate and he eats them using his hands. Very messy but i'll only do this outside cos i lazy to clean up.

just wanna come in to say hi... have been busy these days. like very long nv come in liao, but actually just a few days :p

YB, i still using bumper for my boy, but then i think use like nv use, he still knock his head onto the sides, but its not very hard type. even if i tie the bumper properly, he'll go mess it up. so i decided to stop using the bumper, cos like not much use liao. i think put ilpow around the cot seems more effective. personally i think no need to get.

agar agar - yes, it's from Mr Chan, it's $36 for that pooh bear & and it's yummy!!! just email to him n he will forward u a list of pics that he can do... tons of them.

dsii - yes, he will delivery on the day itself... can also specify the "rough" timing. i keep nagging at him dun come so early as i scare the agar not nice after put outside for too long! :p He is a very nice n accommdatng man.

decor/candle/balloons - are from birthday direct spree. (pooh balloons - i din buy them.. borrowed from another mummy. :p) only bought a few normal ballloons. I bought them n filled up the mylar balloons at the same time. They are only at punggol so i drove down to my venue with a car filled with balloons. Hubby was complaining away! haha www.twinkleballoons.com
saw the candle n banners at the centrepoint shop n concourse... but of cos it's much much more $$$ than getting from sprees. :p
