wat is Zavier on now? If Similar then continue Gain IQ lor. Some babies prefer to stick to the same brand, may be taste similar.

For Janelle, she was taking Mamil series till 1yo then we switch her to Friso3. She is ok and we stick to it. We ever test her on other brand of milk but she told us she still prefer Friso.

Julian takes anything. No preference at all. Mamil, enfa, similac, Friso2 and he just drink them. May switch him to Friso3.

Yap..Celest milk lover..her intake at bedtime v scary, 2 full bottles, so abt 400ml..funny, she only start to like milk after 18 mth. Puke ah..her intestine & stomach "shallow" hah..as some chinese sinseh told me..will b ok after they grow up. Mine used to puke too.
BTW, when u prepare the broth for porridge, did u add almond (nang xin & bei xin)? According to sinseh gd for the lung..nice taste also

With regards to constipation...here's what I have found out. As for G, I tend to give him gripewater and he is OK after that.

Massage your baby s stomach. Infant massage of the stomach can relax babys tummy and intestines and promote digestion. Start at babys belly button and massage outward in clockwise circles.

Move babys legs in a cycling motion as your baby lies on her back. This can cause movement in the babys stomach muscles which stimulate the intestines to move.

Give your baby a warm bath. Combine massage with the bath to relax baby.

Apply some petroleum jelly around the outside of the anus in the bath to cause a movement.

Introduce more fruits and vegetables into your baby's diet, especially prunes. Fruit juice works as well. Fiber will decrease constipation.

Celest drinks so much? I dun know if her stomach is shallow cos she start puking since she was a baby. She will puke if she cough cos if we know she is cough i will give lesser.

Janelle drinks alot, is an advantage when we travel. If she doesnt feel like eating then she will take her milk. She doesnt has the habit of taking solid breakfast, even now leh. She only has milk for breakfast.

Luckily the school bothers to prepare gd snack for tea-break. What i gather from Janelle is that she takes her snack in school.

I never put Chinese almond into the broth cos i dun like them myself. haha.. ok i will try adding that next time.

As for puree fruits/veg, here's a simple way which I am using:

Start by cooking the vegetable/fruit either by steaming, baking, micro- waving or boiling.

Take the vegetable/fruit and remove them into the machine you have decided to use for pureeing.

Set aside the liquid that the vegetable/fruits were cooked in. This will be the liquid you add to make the puree.

Adding this liquid also helps to preserve any nutrients that may have leeched into the water during cooking.

Set your machine to puree or grind and begin to mash the vegetable/fruits.

As you are pureeing/grinding, add the liquid or plain water.

Yes, when D didn't go for 2.5 days cos we were on holiday I massaged his tum and did the cycling movements with his legs, gave him some prune juice and it worked.

mezzo n hong, thanks! ya... i'm also not sure my girl's cough is hot or cold cough leh. even tho PD says it's hot, sometimes we feel that she coughs more at night... which is prob cold right? so we don't dare to give her things that are too heaty or too cooling.

btw... how to pronounce 'hou ning' in chinese? i want to tell my mum but she don't seem to understand that term leh. or what is it called in hokkien? or cantonese? hahahaha

roseola rashes will appear on body(front and back) mostly and oso hands and legs but not the face. The rashes are in the form of raised spots. If it is false measles, the fever will suddenly break(in 2 or 3 days time) and the rashes will appear. Did gillian have high fever? When Xavier had it, his fever was quite high. Hope Gillian is OK now...

JP - similarly, i do "cycling"movement for zav everynite before his bath. He loves it. I read tat jogging helps adults to relieve constipation as the movements helps the intestines. so since bb cant walk, so i have been doing the cycling movement for him since 1st mth.

Zoe - wow, guide for western oz huh. good! next time can ask u liao. i did a self drive to albany, MR area once... love the plc.

plan to go when zav can walk!! can imagine him running "drunkardly" across the wide open field!

FM - currently on enfapro. dunno to stick to enfa series or change.

For Hou Ning, its literally call Hou Ning in chinese...hou for our throat...ning i think quiet bah..its a popular medicine at Eu Yan Sheng so can ask yr mum go to any EU Yan seng and say she want Hou Ning for BB cough the sales there are quite gd...they will advice how much to give to the BB etc...hope this info help!

Oc, when my boy had fake measles, his rashes is all over his body n face. fever was very high n come n go. i remember the rashes are not the bumpy type, its like within the skin.. hope u get wat i mean. it'll go away after abt few days to a week. hope this info helps.

talking abt bringing bb out, haiz.. i also super plan for his trip. very scare to forget something in the bag. so will check and check. so many things to bring, plus the heavier pram. but no choice, i got to get use to it, cos i bring him out sometimes when my hb is at work. thks to some wives here, who dun find me n bb ma fan, they actually ask me to go out with them. they are pretty helpful n to me a helping hand is definately very useful n helpful for a mom out wif a bb. wanna go toilet also must think twice sometimes. N here, pple are very helpful towards parent wif bb/kid. they'll open the door for u or let u join the q first. there was once i was in a bookstore, n this man was sitting on the floor. i dun wana disturb him , so i actually wanted to reverse (the pram) n go by another way. he quickly got up n say, "pls.." then i replied "its ok" and he added. "pls... i'm embarrassed, so sorry..." i was really impressed.

Emerson just had a great big fall.

He fell from the highchair. Finally. He's been climbing up and down recently and its only a matter of time he fall from it. He got a 50cent-coined size bump on the back of his head and he's screaming like hell. THere were also many scratches on his face. Sigh! REally cant leave him alone for 1 min.

*PRAYZ* hard that he doesnt feel giddy and vomit in the next week.

Sigh.. I dunno how to take care of my spiderman boy. I really feel useless.
