Hi OC,
I'm glad Gillian is feeling better. It's really quite a heartache to see bb in pain. Do give her more H2o ya.
My ger has bad constipation and on Sunday, her stools was stuck halfway. She was really in pain and my sis had to use cotton bud to dig it out. My niece burst into tears when seeing bb in pain. My hubby nearly cried too. Sigh...

yr bb also got stuck with poo poo ah..mine also last week..she sobbed so cham like wanna faint liao..me & hb try to pull out the poo poo but cannot leh the poo poo broke into 2 cos too hard le..then we tried to sqeeze & massage her anus part then finally popped out...i told my hb like we like gynae delivering bb ah...

Thanks moms for commends on hip carrier! Ergo carrier is the one like a kangaroo pouch right?! I already have one and been using it all the time. Now am looking for the hip sitting side way one. So that my pelvic bone will not have to keep sticking side way in order for her to sit on something..know what i mean? I think the one I saw(don't know what brand) is quite good cos the waist belt is quite broad(without shoulder belt). But of course when using this one u have to have one hand secure at the back of bb lor. Another choise is use sarong lor!

Still dunno the gender yet, but this pregency very different from the last one. Very bad MS for 1st trimester, going into 2nd trimester soon, hope things turn out to be better.
Some neutral colour clothings can share share mah. If not I sure cham become VPDD liao leh.

My gal doesn't like to take gripe water leh..even though I diluted it wif drinking water. So I make sure she eats fruits everyday. Kay can eat 1 big bowl of apple puree a day. More than her porridge intake.

Yah, if gal gal tis time, prepare to spend lotsa $$ hor..haa..haa...got so many dresses, tops, skirts, skorts, shorts, pants, overalls, hats, socks, shoes, hairbands, hairclips...etc etc.

Thanks...ya like what Lena mentioned, gripewater helps in relieving my ger's consitipation in addition to fruits. Wah ur hubby so emotional ah, like that also wan to cry? Is it bcos reminded him of your labour time when u pushing ur ger out...hahaha...oops sorry, must be my lack of sleep
Dat time my ger's poo poo stuck halfway my MIL asks me to let my ger be in squatting position so easier to come out as compared to them lying down during pooing. Just to share my experience on this 'poo stuck halfway' topic...heheh

Pillows - I got the babysafe infant pillow and new born also, both he doesnt like, then i bought boster.. he also dun like, I think its the smell, got a latex smell. He only likes his chow chow (beanbag pillow used since newborn)
Pearl Powder - Hong, how did u give to Julian? As in mixed in milk? I ever bought for E, but he never finish his milk then waste the pearl powder.
Zoe - Realli scare. Planning to bring E either to the zoo or cycling this weekend, but Im so afraid of him climbing out frm the seat while the cycling. Zoo seems to be a safer choice, but it be tiring for me.

Don't worry! Relax and enjoy. Put the seat belt on E when cycling. Possible to distract him with some food as you start off? If he protests for a long while, you can always stop anytime and take a break on one of the many tables/benches, restaurants, bars, sand.... The zoo, he might not be interested in most of the animals but the children's zoo has a playground you could head for. Long way from entrance though.... Good luck! I'm sure it'll turn out better than you expect. ;-)

Yes, haven't flown since Jan. Will be very different experience now he's older and active and can be loud. Poor fellow passengers. Ha.... Zoo playground's outdoors so cleanliness is same as other otdoor playgrounds I've been to lor. I placed D in the swing which he loves and the slide and let him stand and hold on climbing things. He enjoys watching other children play so that's the main attraction for him at playgrounds.

To prepare apple puree, I just peel the skin, remove seeds & cut into small pieces...put into blender & add some water so it won't b too sweet. Then till puree lor & feed. Very easy. No need to cook.

My girl also down with bad cough and flu for the past week. Yest was day 5 of the medication liao...she's still coughing and can hear that she got alot of phelm. I went to EU Yan Seng yest to get her Hou Ning which was recommended by the lady. She say Hou Ning is better for babies since we dunno if its cold or hot cough...she say pearl powder more for cold cough and complexion...so for our babies Hou ning more suitable.

Tks for your concern. I give her gripe water everyday leh..but still her poo not regular. Maybe becos she switch to soy-based milk cos PD said she lactose intolerant and had diarrhoea. Now we switch back to similac already, dun care, cos my mum said soymilk is heaty.

Rashes - Red spots all over the body. Allergy will happen ard the eyes, and the eyes will be swollen. The spots will take abt 3 - 4 days to go away. Once rashes is out meaning the fever is going off soon.

Pearl powder - just mix the pearl powder with cooling water on any spoon except metal spoon. Old pple believe hot water n metal spoon will affect the effect of Chinese medicine.

My MIL will chose the pearl at the chinese medicine hall then the shop keeper will powdered it for her. It weighed abt "Yi Fen" very very light n cost ard $20. We spit it to two portions, give him half of the dose 2 days apart.
We find Pearl powder quite effective on the two kids.
I never give Hou Ning before but i heard mother from the other thread mention abt it. U can get from Eu Ren Sheng. I heard not cheap. U can drop by and ask.

As for pearl powder, i also give to my 2 kiddy..effective in bring down heatiness, but like wat Hong said ex lor, Fu Hua charge $30 for 1 fen..i also pick the pearl & watch them grind to powder on the spot.

Celeste is a milk lover? How much she drink each time and how many times a day? Janelle loves her Friso but i only allow her to take 3 feed each day and 200ml each time. Yesterday she was coughing in her sleep and puke everything out.
Janelle is a puking kid since young.
