Julie yr baby take pacifier? think have to le tthem suck when plane is taking off, else let them drink water aslo can.. as long as got sucking..

U can try Canon new model or Fujifilm F31. Look for high ISO if u wanna take indoor, dun want flash and low light.
I dun like to use flash on kids, so high iso dun required flash and their battery is very lasting. Can take many shots without flash.

i was given the bassinet for bb but he didn't like it much cos the base was hard, especially now that he likes to sit up. space very tight, so i was carrying him most of the time.

dun be surprised the kid can take the pressure better than us.
We went Bali when i am 7 month pregnant, bringing Janelle along. I was so scared that she cant take the pressure. She took pacifier and water but when the worse pressure occured she was sleeping away, not sucking pacifier n water. She is perfectly ok, when i asked her if her ears were painful she told me no.
Bring along a bottle of water, mix with the water at ur hometown and feed her for a 1st few times. Incase the kid not use to the water there.

A fatal accident nearly happened just now. Scare me to dealth.
Emerson was crawling in this room and he went to pull the ironing board legs the ironing board fell on him and landed on his head. The scariest part is his neck was in between the ironing board and the fan's wire. He was crying "chokingly" I quickly pulled him up. The fan's wire left a red mark on his neck

oh dear...okok, calm down ya. it's over and i'm glad he's ok. just sayang him, i know it's hard dun feel so guilty. accidents do happen to the best of us but thankfully Emerson is fine. maybe can store all the hazardous stuff away when he is crawling ard freely? keep all in a room and close that room door, perhaps?

Sorry to hear abt BB E accident...is he ok? Hope he is fine...this remind me to put the iron and ironing board away liao cos i also put it in another spare room wif ashley's toys and nowadays ashley like to crawl into that room to find toys...

Zita - we got the Panasonic GS300. Recommended by my hb's friend who's a reviewer for handy cams at hardwarezone. But that we got it 10mths ago before K came out. So there may be newer models. Can go read the reviews at website PM gave.

Thanks, am feeling abit better but still feeling very nausea. I stop taking my medication cos want to nurse my ger. She is rather upset yesterday and refused formula still. I try to rest and take charcoal pill instead.
Good news, my ger is taking porridge pretty stable now. I practically cook almost the same way everyday and she finds it ok so far. Thank God!

Does E's stroller have a 5-point harness? Thought not possible to climb out of those.

Driving to Genting is very easy leh. Now they make the roads very spacious and fast to get up/down. I haven't been for so many years, was pleasantly surprised at how short the hill drive was. What about breaking up the journey and driving mainly during nap or happy times? Just an idea.
Flying with BB
Just sharing....
The vibration and noise on the plane send D to sleep and keep him sleeping for a long time.
Bassinets aren't comfy (some slant on one side so bb gets irritated cos they're squashed against one side) so ask for more pillows and blankets. I will hold him till he's asleep then transfer him to bassinet to give my arms a break, jiggling bassinet hard when he stirs.
Adjust bb's nap/bed times (and milk feeds if poss) a week before the flight to coincide with take-off and flight duration. When they sleep thru, they don't notice pressure changes.
Pre-flight excitement and attention from staff and passengers tires him out.
Walking up and down (and up and down) the plane entertains bb (and certain passengers). I usually meet a bb-loving staff or passenger who'll take him off my hands too.
Fellow passengers are generally very accommodating (eg. let you jump loo queue). Nobody wants an irritable bb onboard.
I've only ever flown alone with bb so might not happen so much if you're flying as a couple.
Oh, and I always carry Lavender oil although I've never had to use it yet. It calms bb and possibly induces sleep (for both bb and myself).

i was at whitesand with OC juz now..then went home...didnt realised i dropped my pouch...whole pouch with ic, cards, and my phone!!!..then all the way came home then realised i lost the pouch...so i called my own phone...off liao..expected...@$$##&^%$#....then the customer service at whitesand called me said someone handed them my pouch..but no phone inside...wahlau....

Dun be upset. I agree that losing a mobile is better than losing everything. Treat it as a reward to the one who is so "kind" to return ur pouch.
