Even though Kaylyn doesn't has any tooth yet, I've already started cleaning her mouth, gums & tongue since birth. She's used to it & open her mouth readily. I used to sing to her i.e.'wash ur mouth, wash ur mouth'...so now when she hears the song, she'll know wat to expect & open her mouth wide...Be patient...need some time for Dylan to get used.

My nephew only started to brush his teeth when he's 3.5yrs old...by then, his teeth already very yellow...but no choice, cos my sis doesn't brush his teeth & he doesn't allow anyone to put things inside his mouth.

Swimming:
Hi mummies who bring their babies to the pool, what is the "right" time to bring them to the pool? Morning, afternoon or evening? after a feed?

I bring D before his naps cos then he naps for damn long. ;-) Before a feed cos he doesn't drink much milk usually.

I have brought him both in the afternoon and in the evening. Have their pros and cons. In the afternoon there's no need to keep him warm when we get out of the pool. It's sunny but I keep him in the shaded part of the pool. Evening is crowded but little sun.

thanks. Am thinking of bringing him after his morning feed cos I can bathe him at one go after his swim but then the water will be very cold...You are right...afternoon sun is hot, will have to survey the pool at my place to see if there is shade. Does Baby D enjoys his swim when you first brought him?
 
blessings - i dunno. if after she poopoos all the better. hahaha.. try not to go at ur baby's usual poopoo time.. sorry. juz have big fear of baby deciding to poopoo while swimming.. even with those swimming diapers on.

Ytd, i was microwaving some stuff, saw the tray inside and said, wow so dirty, gona clean it up tmr. Then he said, everytime hear u say tmr..tmr..tmr..but never do. Yes, sort of procrastinating is my nature =P and he washed it when i was sleeping. Hehehe. So one job down. Today is ironing day, I was leave ironing to the last because I hate ironing. Hahaha

Sandy - The function rooms big enough for us to all squeeze inside? Looking at the numbers, it shld be quite a big bash. Hehe.

Thanks for your offer; I have direct contact to them but heard they very sensitive to sponsorship . I.e if Nestle sponsor then they will sponsor everything and don't like other to sponsor. So i am still liasing with the iC..

Sandy, me panda eyes every day. Wan Xin has been waking up many times at night... hee.. I seldom come online these days as need to take care of her. She hardly sleeps during the day. Only pop by when I have chance. Me no MSN.
 
Kloe - paying $3k for both eyes. did my evaluation at the clinic on monday already.
actually i also scare scare now.... but but... just do it! :p

Perhaps you could have your bb wear a vest or tee in the water to keep him warm.... D's a very warm baby so I haven't been too concerned about the cool water.... D loves the water. The very first time I brought him he was about 3 months and he looked worried at the start but after a few minutes he started enjoying himself. Now he's older he'll laugh and immediately kick and flap his arms vigorously when he hits the water, doesn't matter whether I place him forwards, backwards, upright..... Just like a person swimming or treading water. ;-p He doesn't even mind when I accidentally dunk his head in. Ha.

I brought Kaylyn for swin twice so far only. In my dad's clubhse & in the cruise ship...both are in late afternoon...about 3pm. Fed her before bringing her for a dip...both times, she KO IMMEDIATELY after her swim...haa..haa..sometimes even during shower.

Me too...I HATE ironing...even now, I dun like to iron my hb's biz shirts..always leave till last min..sometimes, hb will just iron 1 shirt in the morn before he goes to work...hee..hee...my PT cleaner (May recommended) will b coming next Thurs..yipee! No more ironing & cleaning of toilets etc etc
