Good news.......finally..........my boy ate 3 spoons of pumpkin porridge!!!!! Its a huge victory for him!!!

Zoe - Spoonfeed milk? Nope..however, G drinks water via cup. He loves drinking his milk with 2 spoons of rice cereal. Tried using my fingers too and he just clam his mouth shut. I even went to the extend by using his fingers. Wow, little D is awesome!

GUG - I went their trial. I find that it's not right for our bbies age yet. It more for toddlers tat are older, that at least can understand more. that's my feel.

AquaDucks - Went for trial on sat morning. It's not bad. but find tat it's nothing tat we parents cannot do ourselves. Btw, can wear Tshirt down to the water!

Zoe, i have exactly the same thot as u. being a SAHM definately is not easy. Ur whole life changes and sometimes, the usual way u handle certain aspect of your life no longer works. Simple things like meals have to be settle differently. It definately take awhile to adjust. Hang in there! FTWM is not easy as well. It was abit of a struggle for me, i couldn;t balance my life. till now i have yet to fine a way out. however, end of chapter for FTWM, now i am going to be a SAHM, hmmm hope everything will be fine.

eeyore, i recognise u! actually this length of my hair is not consider short for me. the other time u saw me at yenny pl, that is consider long i usually keep my hair around these lengths.

For BnC class, my boy seems to enjoy himself. maybe he abit mountain tortoise, nv been to trial lessons b4, so he was exceptionally attentive, in the beginning... he love that glowy floppy thingy! however, he was tired towards the end cos he didn;t get to nap much yesterday. knock out on the way home, n slept at 930pm all the way till now... poor thing, really very tired... SO the BnC class is ok not great though. i expected abit more.
PM really salute u! i also discuss this wif hubby b4, thot can have bb no2 in US, but dun think we can handle. Especially wif no help, n Elliot still so young, I really dun think i can cope n i'll rather spend more time wif him. No choice, no 2 hav to wait.

actually, i was thinking even when elliot is already 2or 3 yrs old when i hav 2nd bb, i also dunno how to cope. even if i put him in childcare, it still doesn;t solve my prob. i'll still need a care giver for no2 when i work n this care giver has to take care of elliot too after his childcare, cos i usually finish work late. haizz... i hope my mom can help me take care of all these. even if she does, i'll be veyr tired also running here n there b4 n after work. does getting a maid helps? but i dun like the idea leh.... really dunno wat to do.

Misaryeo - I put in him childcare when he turns 18mths old. No choice if i really have no2. Even healthy babies will get sick initially when placed in unfamiliar environment, just pray hard that he be okay

Mummies, need suggestions here.
Emerson been waking up very very frequently at night.... like 10-20times. He will cry an cry, when I give him pacifer or water he will fall back to sleep only for awhile, half an hr later wake up and cry again sometimes even with the pacifer still in the mouth. I resort to making milk for him, but he drinks 2 sips and rejects the bottle but half an hr again wake up.
Plus, he's an early bird these days. Waking up at 6 or 7 am. He's able to sleep to 11am in the past. I'm really tired and dunno what to do with him at night.

helllo mummies.. i think im going to die here. haha. coughing like an old ah mah, then mucus keeps flowing out of my nose. then gotta keep 'catching' my mucus, and 'catching' germayn's mucus. then my ears are blocked, and im having such a bad headache from the repeated coughing. feel so sian. went to doc. took medicine, but cos still bfg, i think the medicine is quite mild. the medicine is supposed to make me drowsy, but i can't slp, cos it's the weekend, all 3 kids are at home. sad case. think if it doesnt get better im going to get an mc for tomorrow tonight.

Childcare:
I'm also considering puting Kaylyn into childcare when she turns 18mths, then I can go back to workforce...will not consider having a 2nd child until when Kaylyn is abt 3yrs old. I've seen how busy & troublesome it is to cope wif 2 young child by looking at my sis's example, so am a bit scared.

hmmm...i hear 2 opinions from others 1)get it over n done with if u want more than 1 kid anyway 2) wait for 1st kid to be much older n independent, but will they ever be? maybe those with 2 kids mummies like dsii, z-lia, hong n yenny can help to ans this

I think if having kids wif closer age gap, the kids will b closer to each other, then all the things can recycle, & no need to restart our 'engine' cos we're still in tune to baby-rearing....
But having seen my nephew & niece together, I would prefer to wait till Kaylyn is at least 3yrs old to consider having No. 2 lor..hopefully there'll b less sibling rivalry, then the elder child can help take care of the younger child too. Somemore with the elder child at a sch-going age, we'll have more time alone with the younger one.

oc, i find gillian's size quite the same as elliot's. some pple say elliot heavyweight too, but i still think he is quite average size. but her appetite definately better then his.
