Hi mummies

sleep
during day time he need a nap 3 to 4 times each nap last 1 hour,at night he sleep thru from 9 pm to next morning 7am for his milk the go back to sleep till 9+

pacifier
my boy didn`t take pacifier but when he is awake he like to bite the teething ring

milk
he didn`t drink much 500-600ml a day

his feeding time and daily menu for now is :

upon awakening :FM 150ml

breakfast :90ml,3 tbs of nestle cereal

lunch ;a bowl of ai xin porridge,drink
pureed fruit or boiled water

tea break :FM 150ml,baby biscuits with
cheese

dinner : a bowl of ai xin porridge ,drink
boiled water

bedtime : Fm 210ml and boiled water 20ml
 


Mummies,
my boy does not like pacifier but like to sucks his fingers....though I give him his teethers, he will still suck his fingers....until I have to wipe his fingers and cut his nails often...

My boy also didnt drink much....sometimes 120ml, at times 150ml....but enjoys eating his porridge and fruits. Do you give him teething biscuits or normal baby biscuits?

Changing teats
BTW, is it true that teats have to be changed after 3 months? Was at the Baby Fair yesterday and Avent ppl said is better to change. Currently, my boy is still on No.2...I thought can "upgrade" him to No.3 but then he gags at times so changed back to No.2. Is there a specific period to upgrade the teats? I have standby No.3 but it seems like he is not used to it and I have to buy a new set of No.2.

Sippy Cup
Any babies on sippy cup now? My boy is lazy, does not really want to hold his bottles leh....

i give him both teething biscuits and normal baby biscuits

i train my boy to used sippy cup(AVENT) since he turn 6 mths ,first he lazy but slowly get used to it
 
blessings.. regarding change of teats. i hav upgrade him to no 4. cos i thot no 4 is for 6mths and above. as i have 3 bottles, i'll change 1 first.. then when he is more use to it.. then i;ll change the other 2... beginning he'll not be use to the flow.. after that he seeems fine. but i heard b4, must change teats often...

my boy actually pushes himself backward instead of going forward to get his toys and he got frustrated for not being able to get his toy..

My friend's bb also does that bef learning how to crawl.
 
yes... all babies will go thru the stage of moving backwards... :p

help bb to understand tat he can move forward by u moving their hands n legs toghther (ask hubby to help). very soon, they will move front.

Hello mummies, it's been a few days since I logged on... :p

My gal seems alright these few days after the fall. Phew. Thanks to all mummies for your concern!

PM, my bolster is made up of "real" cotton. It is pretty heavy. Why my hubby said your boy looks like 1 year old... he said based on his hair and overall. Hee... looks like a grown up baby.

My gal also cannot sleep without the pacifier. Sometimes, she will wake up looking for it at night and either me or hubby have to give it to her. On good nights, only one or twice but on bad nights, many times. Like last night, I woke up many times to give her the pacifier. I also hope to wean her off but dunno how.

Peach, will send you photo of my gal few days later. Need to search for it.

dsiitan, read that your boy ate some ru yi oil. Hope he is ok now.
 
Sandy, we will be taking MRT to Orchard and then take bus 16 to GWC. Not sure what time the shuttle bus comes, so dun want to waste time waiting.

What time you plan to leave home?

Really hah? When I tried no.3 on him, he gags so I quickly give him back no 2 and is fine....how ah? Maybe I try again.....it takes a few days for the transition right?

I'm also excited to meet more mummies and babies tomorrow... My gal has stranger anxiety. Hope she will take it well tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Wah! Came back from cruise & already got so many many posts to catch up!

Didn't had a gd time at the cruise cos have to look after Kaylyn all the time. Then hb backside itch, pay & invite PILs to the cruise. Then cos they're old & doesn't understand or speak eng, always need us to b around to guide them around the ship, incl. ordering of food during meal time.

Somemore PILs refused to take turn to help out wif Kaylyn & hb give excuses tat he has to accompany his folks. (Actually all of them very gian casina gambling)..Sigh..I hve to do all the feeding, cleaning, showering & changing of bb. Hb nvr offer to help. Think he feels his parents are on his side, so no need to do his part as a father.

Somemore during mealtime, while I was feeding Kaylyn in the restaurant, PILs will quickly grab the food & eat. When Kaylyn finishes her milk & finally got time to eat, already not much food left for me. Hb also nvr say anything...I was so so disappointed & upset wif him.

Cos this trip is supposed to celebrate our belated wedding anniversay (which was last week but he's overseas). End up, I became the 'maid'...sigh...Think only PILs & hb enjoyed themselves.

I swear nvr to go on holiday wif PILs ever again!! Cos hb will misbehave & neglect his wife & bb.

Gd news is tat Kaylyn is a very gd gal thru-out the trip & even managed to sleep in the theatre while the performances were on-going!! haa...haa...And today she say ma-ma for the 1st time while I was stuck in the cabin wif her, waiting for hb to come back from casino.

Anyway, Germayn is finally teething! Realise that when she bit me when i was feeding her. It's not the first time she's biting me, but this time rd it is really quite painful and sharp, and so i checked her gums. Haha.

Anyway, i think i wldnt be going tomorrow. coughing like mad. having runny nose also.

welcome back...hmm...u hv to pay for kaylyn's share rite? not cheap right? dunno loh..maybe i no $$ or maybe even niao..i wont bring ian to cruise..cannot use the facilities there..and cannot eat the food..then go there always stuck in cabin..damn sianz and i think waste of $$...haha..unless i strike toto 1st prize alone...then different story lah...nevermind lah...can go again when kaylyn is older..hmmm..like 2 yrs old..when she can enjoy herself..

Also just started giving Kaylyn Pigeon Mag Mag sippy cup. But still in teat form, cos everytime I give her the soft tip, she'll take in too much water & gag.

Yes, gotta pay for Kaylyn at 25% of adult rates. No choice mah, cannot leave Kaylyn in s'pore cos nobody to take care of her...Even with PILs around also no use...cos their priority is to enjoy themselves. Next time hb wanna invite his parents to holiday wif us, I rather he give me the extra $$.

Kaylyn did seems to enjoy herself cos she kept looking around & smiling & blabbering to strangers, even the crew. Then in cabin, she will squeal & roll all over the bed...will keep talking & talking until she falls asleep.

Only me jia lat lor..tis & tat cannot do, cos nobody take over from me. Hb enjoys himself though...so envy!

Kaylyn still no tooth yet leh...lagi slower than Ian.

Xavier dun even have 1 tooth. I think he is like his jie jie, over 1 yr old then have teeth. He oso cannot call mama. Only knows how to scream and he likes to scream really really loud now. But he can crawl on all 4s liao. Well, diff baby have diff pace of development.
 
js now, when i carry charlene out of the car, i bump her forehead into a pillar beside me... she cried so badly, never heard her cry like this b4, now got blue black already... poor thing... heart pain... hb scold me for not carrying her properly, then i blame him for parking the car so backwards, so near to the pillar, now he blame himself... usually he park his car head in first, 2day park backside in first, make charlene bump her head... now he feel v. sorry...

YB, haha...ya loh..bring baby out very ma fan loh..even when isaac was ard 3 plus 4..we went genting with hb and his family..all the bil..sil..nieces n nephews..abt 16 over ppl...then some even said till nice nice..can help me look after isaac..even hb oso said he will help...help head ah...once reached genting...ard 4 am..all rushed to casino...then the underaged one went to see look the place...and me? was left at the hotel lobby (cannot check-in yet..only at 12pm)then the whole 3 days 2 nites trip was a torture to me..i only managed to sleep ard 4-6 hrs in total leh...and 1 incident i was so angry...isaac slept while we were having tea break..ard 4 plus..then hb asked me to bring isaac back to the room...he went casino with his bro..then will come back shortly ard 1 hr..to take over me..then i can go n shop...but hor...from daylight waited till dark...he had not come back yet..wanna call him but my phone no auto roam...he only managed to come back after 5 hrs..i was on fire manz...then said he took over i can go jalan jalan ...so late liao..jalan wat...after back to sin..all enjoyed wanna go another time...i was the only one rejected the idea...

Misaryeo - He's used to sleeping with me, until I cant tanhan his "shadow kicks" and 360 rotating stunts. I put him in his room. At least if he's sleeping next to me, I wont have much trouble, just look for pacifer for him and I can go back to sleep, now I walk in and out til I'm wide awake.

Sandy - Glad that things worked out for u and hubby eventually. It's like that, it takes a long time for my hubby to accept his a father too. Now he's more involved in taking care of BB maybe because bb is more interactive now unlike in the past, just sleep and drink milk.

OC - Yes, Emerson too wakes up 3-5 times at night. It's not for feed, coz when I make milk for him he will suck and regret the bottle and be wide awake but u can see he's sleepy. I thought he woke up to look for me, coz I just shifted him to another room instead of co-sleeping with me. But he's milk intake did not increase, he's still a 120ml baby... haiz...

Jurong_gal - Emerson doesnt know how to sit or stand yet. sO dun think its that reason.

Eeyore - Understand what u mean, BB is angry with her disturb sleep due to cough and blocked nose and Mummy tired coz got to work and handle fussy bbs at night. I was very man jang when E is sick.

Taka Fair - Forgot to go yesterday, was at orchard. Went to Robinsons instead. Shags. I hope I didnt miss out any good offers.

Kloe -Ur hubby quite cute. Emerson has that amt of hair since newborn. He's quite a hairy baby, til now, his back is still hairy hairy one.
 
YB - Clebrate anniversary why bring PILs? I thought they dote on Kaylyn v much when I see them at yr place. My MIL is totally opporsite. She will offer to help carry Emerson from the start of the dinner til the end and I'm very paiseh, coz she's one who enjoys eating but cannot eat coz of Emerson... I did offer to carry back, but she simply refuse. Sometimes I feel really embarrased coz we "push here and there" and ppl thought Im a bad DIL, abusing MIIL. Hahaha

Zita/ Lucida - Ok to pass me $ tmr.

Sigh, Other than waking up many times in the morning, Emerson wake up very early too.. these few days he wake up like between 7-8am, and sometimes ard 6 plus will cry also.... Tian arh! My Orh Bak kKa very black liao...
 
Dunno if Emerson is considered as crawling, but I didnt observe him going backwards though. At first I thought its creeping, but its really fast especially when he stop a target. He will just chong to it.
 
Had a gathering with some uni friends yesterday, I realise Im so out. Even though Im the youngest amg them, but no topic, coz they all talk abt work, work politics etc etc..... me just know stuff abt bbz. Kinda of sad.
 
YB, so nice, kaylyn can call mama.. only thing germayn can say is bababababa. ya. that's all she blabbers now. haha. but with that, it seems that she'll start saying papa first.

*sayang charlene* germayn bumped her head ytd also. she was trying to crawl very quickly (and she just knew how to crawl. hai.) and her head bumped on the floor. now got blur black also. I remember there was once when her head hit the cupboard, cos i was carrying her in the carrier, so she was in front of me ma, but i FORGOT! then i was rushing to the cupboard to take something and her head hit against the cupboard. so dumb.

ok..im going to see a doctor now. havent had so much mucus for a long time.
 


Hi mummies...

Dsii, ur genting trip is very fustrating. We are opp. I am the one who like to go Casino but i dun stay long. Hubby dun like to gamble. I only brot Janelle to Genting once and we kept ourselves to the indoor and outdoor theme park. Altot i like to travel in big group but we hate the part on waiting for each other.

ha... u are not alone. Among my peer, i am the 1st to have kids, 2 somemore. During the CNY visitation, the rest will help me to look after the kids while i still can continue chit chat abt the latest topics.

Teeth - Julian have two bottom teeth. I dun know he is calling mom mom or food something.

poor thing. If u feel left out, must voice up to ur hubby. Guys are like that sometime.
