Really nothing much there.. manage to buy 2 pack Nestle cereal at $3 each and post-natal stress mark cream. Plus sign up for mother & baby... hehe all because of the goodie bag..lol
 


PM, ya it's from foto-u, i chose benjamin cos cheaper & he did my maternity photos also, I do my own make-up so the package is $158, now no more free 8R pics but gave a 4R empty album.

dsii.. forgot to tell u. i didn't burn extra of the disc, didn't get the chance to. too troublesome to get the extra blank cds from my dad. so think if u have extra cds can pass to the rest? otherwise after u install then juz pass around. will check tomoro again who else to pass to.. am so sleepy n tired now.. had a very tiring weekend. hope u are enjoying playing with the program!!

I add a little bit of water & use the blender for all fruits. In fact, I'm using blender for everything incl. carrots, sweet potatos, pears etc. I only use the chopper for rice.

I normally also use grater and knife to chop all the food and put everything in the cooker. ONly yesterday did i throw everything into the chopper and let the machine does the work for me....hee hee

BTW, any mummies out there still do night feed? *raise hands*....me raise both hands....ahahahaha....TIRED!!!!

maybe u can try add some rice cereal into your BB milk on the last feeding. I put rice cereal inside...he can sleep still 6 or 7 am then have his morning feed
 
Hi Sandy,

I have never tried putting cereals into his milk cos he is now having two solid meals (porridge) lunch and dinner....afraid will be too full for him.

is ok.. my boy also have two solid meal per day. His milk powder always have 1 small scoop of rice cereal so that he will nt be so easy hungry. Before that he used to cry for milk every 2 hour for milk, now can last for 4 hour in the day and at night add 1/2 scoop more can last the whole night.

Buy those rice cereal without milk added

I definitely still do nightfeeds. ;-p Usually twice during his 12-hour sleep.... and on a very good night (like last night) once. I won't add cereal into his bottles as he doesn't take sufficient milk as it is. Won't do him any good filling him up with cereal.

re: nite-feed
aiyo..me hands up and legs up...dunno why hor..my 2 boys so jialat leh...isaac last nite nite feed till 1 yr plus...dunno this ian will follow korkor bo?? hope he can stop nite feed leh...mostly i need to wake up once for his nite feed..and that is ard plus minus 4am...but at times can be 2 feeds..like last nite had 180ml at 11pm...then 230am..150ml...and 6am..180ml..inbetwen still got water leh..but little bit only...pengz...

oh ya..even i add creal into his last feed..he still wakes up for milk...at times i tot he only 'ni gian' (milk addiction) but hor...he really can finish all within 5mins...180ml leh...somemore 2 meals per day loh...

hands up! my boy still wakes up for night feeds too! But it's more of a habit then hunger coz when HB carry him then he will go back to sleep. But when I carry, he wants milk. HB going to train him this 2 weeks...

Hi mummies,

My ger wakes up for nitefeed too. But i suspect not really for milk but more to look-see look-see. For eg, she will wake up at 3am and play by herself for one hour. We'll then get her back to sleep by feeding her. After a while, we leave her alone to play and look-see and only wkae up when she starts to make noise. Hee...evil.
 
Nite feeds: Emerson wakes up at night too for milk, but I am more than happy to do that for him coz his day feeds are pathetic. Some babies drink more water than his milk intake. But these two nights he's been wasting my effort - He coulnt be pacified with pacifier or water, so I make milk, but he drinks only 20-50ml per feed. Wasting my milk

my boy also like that at times. He will wake up at 5am and then play by himself...when he is bored, he will start to whine...which means drinking time is up!

talk abt wasting milk, sometimes it is hard to predict how much my boy will drink. Sometimes 150, sometimes 120 or even lesser if distracted. Thought of changing his teat to no. 3 (avent) but then he gags so change back to no.2. aiyo....
 
Blessings, yup, soemtimes i make lesser and he seems to be not full and still want soemmore and if i go make another 60ml he will regret me altogether.

I notice my boy likes to shake his head....any babies like that out there? What does this mean huh?

Development Phase
What should be the development phase of our babies now? My boy still cannot really sit unsupported...I mean he will still put his palms on the floor to support himself while I am also behind his back in case he topple. He can flip front and back; and can turn 360 degrees on his tummy but yet to crawl...but he likes to jump and jump when I put him on my lap. Babies here seem to crawl already....very fast!!!
 
blessings, yes. My Boy too. He likes to shake or rock his head, sometimes bang his head on the mat/ floor.

Same here, my bb too. Cant sit properly and will topple. He however can creep very fast but not on his fours to crawl yet. I am not so worried abt it. I learnt that because of his size, he may be slower than other babies in terms of agility. Hw heavy is yr bb?

My bb too. She can sit now but I still dont feel safe letting her sit without me at her back. But she cant crawl at all. She shakes her head too..and once I took a video of her shaking her head non-stop, left-right, left-right for almost 12 times! Hehhe.

my boy loves to shake his head too!

before the cny, i let him sit/lie on the rocker most of the time and whenever i let him sit unsupported, he will topple or sway sideways less than 3 mins later. then during my cny break, i had no choice but to sit him on a portable chair harness during meal times, that really helped to "teach" him how to sit properly.

same, on tummy, he can turn 360 degrees but can't crawl yet...he can raise his butt but can move backwards, not frontwards.

Missmoon, Emerson slides one side when he's on a high chair. He's very naughty, coz he will use his leg to kick the "table" of the high chair.

Think he's smaller than yrs. abt 8.75kg now, but he's abit stout size. Quite a shorty.

My boy very stable on sitting but he will topple when he rock himself upon listening to music.

I kept complaining to my mother & HB about Wendy's BB born same day as mine won 1st in crawling contest but my BB cannot even crawl...lol

Was making porridge for E and realise my MIL bought the wrong thing for me. Ask her to buy Tuo Fu, she went to buy Tou Kan. Can I still let BB eat?
