Somethings happened after i gave birth last Sunday. U can read chinese?? I lazy type here. Ur read my blog I PM u.
 


Put on tummy binder after delived in the hospital, Breastfeed baby, malay massage, and perspire a lot also help to lost lot of weights lo!
 
NOIF, ok can, PM me.. 11.4kg still ok leh.. i put on almost 20kg.. think going take months to lose...

stephanie, i heard usually the day u deliver will be abt the same as ur provious pregnancy one leh..

aiyo...then hor..my tummy tight tight issit contraction too??? hmmm...cos tight for quite some time liao...abt few weeks liao...my 1st one can feel contractions...but this one no leh...
 
dsiitan, shld be suddenly tighten then tummy relax... ahha.. u very funny.. u try to observe when u haven;t eaten.. cos after meals.. my tummy also very tight one.. maybe u shld ask ur gynae to do ctg.. then u'll know..

tomolo i go checkup..then will decide if i will to admit on monday for inducement..dunno leh...gynae said jumbo bb..dun want to wait liao hope my boy will pop out on this fri..weekend mah..hehehe
 
dsiitan, then ok lah at least can induce.., so ur cervic dilate already? as u wanted lah.. at least induce not c-sect mah... ai yah.. then me how.. mao duan leh... i see PM on msn!!!
 
for me is.. i dun wanna decide for my bb his birthdate leh.. cos to me birthdate is very impt one.. it'll dictate's one's life lor.. so i rather leave to nature then decide for him.. sigh.. how ah...

if doc said induce is better choice then go ahead..dun want to regret rite??? better than c sect ah....
 
hmm...at times u wont know leh...think alot of ppl think gynae are more experienced than us loh..if he wanna u induce sure got reasons..and of cos for our own gd...hmmm..but of cos up to u lah...he cant force u mah..tomolo u go checkup see what he say loh...maybe got gd news...i hope my got gd news too..hahhahaa
 
Wow. This thread move very fast. Everyone seems very active and knows each other very well in this thread. Anyone staying in Yishun or north area??

Guess I'm not the only one who is getting "impatient". Gynae told me baby very low but yet, still not engage. Going to see him again on Monday. I'm told by my yoga teacher that squatting can help to get the baby down (provided you dun suffer from complications i.e. low placenta, etc..) - maybe it works better than climbing stairs.

My due date is supposed to be 25th July. Will be starting my maternity leave on 17th July cos' getting really tired at work due to lack of sleep. Anyone also taken maternity leave before due or you usually try to hand on till last minute?

So I have to take 1 week in advance

NOIF - wow, u lose wt so fast? i also gain abt 11+kg. but dunno lost how much as my mom's place no weighing machine leh. :p last checkup at gynae's place, i only lost 5kg.

dsiitan, from wat gynae say for me is that, since already dilated, cervic softening and bb already very low.. can give birth lor.. if bb not getting enuf nutrient inside (touchwood) then i'll admit lor.. cos i think hubby also impatient liao..ahhaah

steph, actually u can request for scan one right although u r subsidise patient..just need to pay for the scan only.. why not u just ask ur gynae if need to do scan or not.. since very long nv do liao.. if u think doing the scan will make u fang xin abit then do lah..

what is priming huh?

my cervix also not open yet (gynae say exterior open, interior not open yet). EDD on 15 July. But baby movement getting lesser, so 14 July going to induce. Gynae din mention anything about priming leh ...only say put pill for cervix to open
 
Misaryeo, Funny thing is thta they didn't even schedule me for CTG even though next appointment is 38 weeks liao.. When I asked the MO, she say if required, it will be written in my appointment booklet... If never write means no need.... I was like @@.

Never mind lah.. when its time, its time.. lol

at least ur gynae sadi ur bb engage, cervic soften..got dilation...mine?? nothing at all..just kept saying bb too big...haiz....

geberra ever told me if u weight loss..bb no movement...or bb size shrinking...then they will do CTG leh..cos i told geberra i dun hv CTG..she said she asked the nurse..then she was told that ways..
 
thats y i said to geberra..maybe me no chance to do CTG..cos my weight keep increasing...bb moves alot..and my bb so big..keep growing..hahahaa
 
priming - i think is to insert a pill into v area to soften it. usually takes 8-12hrs to take effect. i did tat for my delivery too.

squat - do till 90degrees lah. not squat till the floor lah. :p
 
dsiitan, maybe you can just do the standing squat - up and down. Make sure your knee cap is pointing outwards. As you get more comfortable, you can try to go lower.

Btw, anyone heard of eating placenta? There was a thread on this but i'm not too sure whether I should try and also how to prepare the placenta. Heard that it's very good for skin. During this pregnant period, my skin has become better - less oily and more normal. Used to spend quite alot on facial. So if eating placenta works, tot of trying...

any comments?
 
dsiitan, erm... from my memory, they will schedule for CTG for appointments for 39 weeks pregs... but next appointment 39 weeks liao they never schedule..

i heard ppl ate placenta too...me opp from u..my sin got lots of break out and hor..damn oily..
 
By the way, standing squat helps to strengthen your thighs and helps to open up as well. So I think it should be helpful during labour.

Me at KKH Subsidised patient leh... a lot of things dun have and different one.. Mine is still Medical Officer one..

dsiitan, at least u know bb healthy inside.. at least if u induce no need c-sect.. so its blessing in disguise for u also..

steph, maybe ur bb's heartbeat is normal so no need to do.. i also nv do ctg leh.. just ultra scan only..and hear bb's heartbeat..gynae ask if got contraction.. i tell him.. i think so lor.. but not painful..i first timer.. blur blur one.. but i think gynae will know wat they doing lah.. we dun worry so much..

Guess i eat too much constipation medicine, so at the end became diarrhoea lo! Then i dont know cannot drink milo (3 in 1), drink liao worse.

Anyway, stomach ache also due to lot of wind + diarrhoea, so mix up very serious pain lo! Tis is what the malay massage lady told me when she massage my back and tummy. She said lot of wind!

Think tis is because the 2nd day after delivered I bathe catch cold and wind liao! So mummies when bath really must be careful. Dont on fan and must close the window.

I go to Clinic C and not always same doc cause sub patients cannot choose doc one...

Last visit doc was still mumbling say how come background got sound one.. kaoz...

NOIF, Heheh after I gave birth to my #2, immediately the next very morning I went to bath in hospital liao.. hahah.

I don't really follow confinement rules one.. I super scared hot one..

Must take extra care. My 1st confinement also bathe everyday with no problem.

But this confinement dont know y me so weak. My sisters said if this is ur last one must make sure we really "pu" our body. Women can only "pu" during confinement, if u did not do good one, next time suffer a lot. Now i guai guai cut down bath time, just try to wipes my body.

I scared the stomachache again, like contraction pains leh! So painful!
 
NOIF.. u dun look like u put on alot of weight.. so envy.. looking at ur arms will know lor.. but poor thing.. after delivered then got stomachache..

NOIF, Yah I heard them say if its last baby better take good care.. but hor Aug will be super hot leh.. now on hot days I already cannot take it liao.. hahah

That's what my SIL says too. Can "compensate" in the next confinement. Seriously, all these sounds very bizarre and non-scientific to me..
