aiyo... me waiting for PM to tell me strawberry flavours nice or not leh... oh ya, we must remember to put hp charger in our hospital bag otherwise cannot charge then cant sms each other liao... you better go put it in your bag now, me go home will also put it in... btw, tonite i'll go thru my hospital bag one more time. then tomoro i'll put the hospital bag in the car liao... just in case i got the POP symptons while working, hubby can pick me and dash straight to hospital....

congrats to PM, i was still wondering how come yesterday she not online, maybe she admited.. then really lor.. hahaa..

btw i just came back from checkup, cervic already 2cm dilated! dr asked if wanna admit tdy, but hubby just went to extract wisdom tooth.. so dun think tdy is a good day.. so will wait and see.. however gynae say shld be thurs delivered liao looking at the 2cm dilation.. abit stress.. yet also happy... that finally can see bb liao.. but when coming home.. hubby say.. that's the end of our couple time.. i suddenly so sad...

i suddenly gan jiong already.. must go check wat i need to do..in case suddenly bb decide to come out

hehehe... thks ya but 1 mummy offer me $20 for the tollyjoy warmer... but with no warranty loh... is brand new set, she got 2 sets given as a gift from her friends... so far, only 1 mummy wrote to me so i closed deal her liao... havent collect it though...

me also havent apply for ML yet... still cant decide to go off early or wait till the day i POP then apply... haiz... actually i already "jiao dai" my stuffs to my colleague liao and intend to let her hands on today but something happened to her family and she will be on leave for at least 3-5 days i think.... so only left with 1 week for her to hands on (next week) before i'm due... duno she can cope or not...

I asked the PA to activate my ML once i in labour lor.. dun want to waste my ML. Hubby will be in reservist on wednesday. I dun want to stay at home alone.

I have to Jiao dai my work today.

oh ya, btw do you know how many days does the 3rd month ML consists of? i heard is 20 days only. is it true? i thot supposed to be 28 days too????

My baby is not engaged yet. I'm now afraid she may go beyond 40 weeks.

As for breech position, maybe you wanna try going on all fours for 10 mins every day. It is said to widen the birth canal so that baby can turn. My baby was in posterior position, that means her face is facing outward, and this is not ideal. My yoga instructor asked me to go on all fours (as if you are scrubbing the floor) and during my last gynae check up, my gynae said her face has turned slightly inwards. Phew. Try it since it's no harm.

My tummy is rather low now and I can a lot of pain in my cervix/pelvic area as if the baby is pushing really hard. And that day I was having mentrual pain for two hours and I was still shopping at Taka. Hahhaa..

for the boiling method, how long must we boil? just put the bottles, teats into the pot, then boil until the water bubbled will do is it? or must let the water bubbled (boiled) for 5 mins then can switch off the stove fire??? me sua ku leh... can teach me? kekeke...

boiling method..hmmm...me will boil the water till very hot..got bubbles lah..then put in the bottles and teats in..continue boiling for abt 2-3 mins..then off the fire..if u using latex teats..then cant boil like that..must boil the water then off fire...then u put in the teats..if not the teats will become sticky...

last time i i boiled the bottles togther with the fire..so once they ended up melted cos i forgot abt them totally..hahaha..so after that i boiled the water 1st then put in the stuff..then boil for another2 mins..can liao..hahaha
 
For my first kid, I used boiling method.
Normally even after water boil, I will reduce fire till small-medium and continue to boil for another 5 mins. Cause the sterilising cycle only starts when water is at 100 degress C which is when it starts to boil.
 
And hor, must have enough water and that bottles are completely in the water, not floating....

Then after 5 mins, I will off fire and keep bottles inside that water.. I won't remove to dry...

he dun want to defer, anyway he can take off to accoy me to hospital and back home. My mil will be helping me so ok for me. May be 2nd child so we not so kam cheong liao.

3rd month shld be 28 days of ML. U taking all 3 months right!

aiyo... you hor, can boil until the bottles melted... hahaha... me thinking of getting another sterilizer to be put at my mum's hse but then it's really not cheap to get another new one loh... duno if my mum will have time to use the boiling method or not...

me too leh..there's one time i boiled water (still using kettle that time) at nite ard 10...then hor i happily go online then went to bed...omg...lucky my hb woke up in the wee morning to go toilet..somemore he went kitchen one..he saw fire still on...aiyo..the kettle become all balck..and with a whole in the bottom..hehee,,,next dya i went to buy the whistleing kettle..hehehe...then now...airpot..hahaha

many mummies gave birth last week... and it seems like most of the jul mummies all gave birth liao... except afew of us....

heard for engorgement, you can use cold cabbage leaves to relieve the pain... you tried that?

good for engorgement..but will reduce milk supply...!!!!!just express milk....and masaage....

this morning have a scare... bb no movements at all... while having lunch keep talking to her... now that I've eaten, pls give me a kick to let me know that u r okie... finally after lunch keep kicking then i relieve... hehe...

anyone knows how angline??
 
Poppy, for engorement, try to have a hot shower or put hot towel and expres.. cause cold cabbage will reduce milk supply..

I too had engorgement for my 2nd child on 5th day I think... breast got an area super red and hot, and hard.. v painful.. I used hot towel to apply then tried to pump to relieve.
