Do you know if we can use whitening products like SKII when we are breastfeeding? Will it be harmful for the babies?? I cant wait to use whitening products cos my face looks so haggard now..

It helps to calm the kids down, learn word from the songs. etc.

Music doesnt mean have to learn instrument. More like learn to appreciate and love music.

My Labour story:

27 June 3.30am
Went to pee and tot urgent cos urine cannot control, wipe & pull up panty walking back to my room, in between, leak! Ran back to bathroom sat at toilet bowl.. nothing, wear back again walk to bedroom. In bedroom, leak & wet panty! Wake hb up think waterbag burst liao. Sat in toilet bowl for 15 mins.

3.50am
wore maternity pad, went to Kayden's room to pack my hospital bag *havent pack anything*
(As my frd has the same thing leakage, her gynae told her to go back to sleep and the leakage will be gone by noon) so hb say go back to sleep!

4.30am
Went back to sleep but with towel on my bed cos keep leaking. Somemore still think of going to work loh.. Silly me!

7.30am
Woke up later cos hb sending me to work. Gosh, whole bed wet! Told hb something might be wrong!

8.10am
Call gynae! He said waterbag burst liao ask wat time, wan us to go down immediately! He will see us there! Hb say, I go shit first.. wanna have breakfast first bo.. FAINT!!! He not gan cheong loh.. somemore can shower take his time style his hair.

9.30am
so heng, no jam at all.. reached hospital! Whole pad like wet pampers like that..

10am
Hb done registration! Nurse & doc came to check on me. still keep leaking.. Doc checked on whether I got dilate bo. *So sad.. no dilation!* Checking for dilation.. SI BEI PAIN!! insert pill have to wait for 6hrs to check! contraction every 5 mins.. nurse ask me pain bo.. I say no feeling of pain ley..

12 noon
went up to room.. rest! have lunch! Gynae say will be back to check on me at 5pm
Fell asleep!

4.30pm
Nurse woke me up, went down to check.
AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRR, nurse no experience, PAIN UNTIL I WANNA SCEAM LIAO!!

5pm
Gynae came say, 2 options!
1st op - insert another pill check dilation in another 6hrs cos after one pill.. STILL NO DILATION!!
2nd op - C-Sec
Told gynae, no need to waste anytime.. C-sec! Very demoralise.. no dilation + dun wanna the pain to check for dilation. Hb went to check with uncle on aupicious time to c-sec.

6pm
got the timing.. cannot over 28 June cos not good date loh.. so chop chop must on 27 June. told gynae.. he sooooooooooooooooooo shuang kuai.. NO PROB!

9.30pm
After ahower, went to op theater liao.
Got push in ask for GA instead of EPI (I no courage) ahhaha

9.40pm
Breathe in sec oxygen air.. GONE!!!!

11.30pm
Got woke up by the nurse, got push back to the ward. Hb outside to welcome me.. cried see me in pain.. hahah..

Told me Kayden was born at 9.50pm

That's my labour story!!

hehe.. thanks.. Doc actually asked me to go home yesterday but my boy got hearing test this morning.. cannot bear to leave him at the hospital for one nite!

WOW.. Fruitee!! Your Labour story very exciting leh. You must be very worried right? U never scold the nurse who check for dilation ar.. she must be very rough that why u pain.

I think my HB will be Kang Cheong.. if i water bag burst suddenly. lol

so you didnt suffer from any labout pain except when the nurse check for dilation loh... ya, i also heard it's painful when it comes to checking the dilation portion... they will poke their fingers into our vagina... 1 finger, 2 fingers or even 5 fingers poke our "down there"... abit scary loh....

how many days did you stay at TMC? what's your bill like since initially you opted for natural birth, right?

also hor, did they serve you tonics soup like papaya and fish tail soup? heard it's included as long as you delivered there and it's yummy too...

again, so envy you... can see and hug hug your baby liao...

wow.. luckily u chosed c-sec.. if not will take another few hours to suffer the contraction pain and nurse checking..

So fast ur milk come in liao har.. that's gd news.. bb K look more like daddy or mummy?? Need to pay extra $$ for hearing test or not?? Which PD u chosed??

hong - actually my PD did advise me to place bb on tummy to sleep in the daytime. so i do that sometimes. if he dun wan, most of the time i will place him sideways to sleep.

i will monitor closely if he is hving tat GER thingy. thanks.
 
joline - the hearing test is optional. it's $60 for it.

papaya soup - shd be served every morning tea time. rite fruitee. :p

i actually wanted hb to buy from them everyday after my confinement. now my mom cooks for me.
of cos, taste different! hahah :p

got contraction every 5mins interval.. then nurse somemore asked me.. u dun feel pain ah.. wah.. yr theashold of pain good ah.. so pai sey!
I try not to think of the dilation part.. NITEMARE!
I stayed at TMC for 4 days 3 nights.They charged me for C-sec price ley.. No meh?? The tonic soup.. NICE!! keke.. must drink more for breast milk ley.. No envy la.. very soon u all also can see liao...

Those delivering at TMC.. remember hor.. whole day kept eating one.. ahha.. BF, tea break, lunch, tea break again, dinner then nite snack.. wah.. faint

i stayed for 2days nia. they only charge u for csec price? din charge u for the "induction" part? use of the delivery ward to wait for dilation etc?

My Birthstory...

I had give birth to Venice on 29 Sept 06... : )

remember on 28 Sept after complainting about tummy not veri well? thinking it was BH contraction. After work decide to visit KKH since veri near my work place....

Put on CTG...oop contraction is 3min apart, dilute at 2.5cm liao...! not much of pain...request to go home to change..but doc advise better not..advise to rest at ward if need pain relieve that will push to delivery ward.'

11pm....all pain gone liao, so sleep soundly....

29 June 06
7AM- Ask to shower n go delivery ward. No pain leh, but doc advise to put epidural early, so all set up, check 3cm dilute, burst water bag, induce n wait for full dilution.

10.30AM - Nurse check 5cm dilute liao

11.30AM - Found that the epidural is not working, seem to felt contraction. Nurse check 7cm dilute.
reqest to add doseage.

12.oopm - Still feel contraction after adding the dosage, nurse say maybe coming out...check 10CM, veri low, call for Doc.

12.15pm - dOC came, tink epidural seem to take effect..no feeling liao...! but doc ask me to imagine constipation. After 6push, venice come out at 12.35pm : ) 3.16kg....

OVerall thank god, is a short n painless delivery : )

Discharge today...with my gal...: )
